Life starts now.
Good movie! This film was ballsy in a number of ways, chief of which is in its treatment of a story about death without shirking from the nasty details of anticipation, and the inevitable execution. Many Hollywood films tend to cop out at the very last minute, ... read more -

This was pretty average. I was a little disappointed with it, as I read a few good reviews, and, though it wasn't awful, it wasn't as good as it could have been either. I didn't really like the "heaven" bits - I thought it was a bit of a cop out. Sure, try and find some positi... read more

Another "okay" type of movie. Though the ending is different. Like it is happy but in a sad way (if that makes sense... I can tell it doesn't). I didn't get one thing, if you're a dying person, what would be your first wish? Hmm.

Kate Hudson dies prettily in this tone-deaf dramedy about a woman finding love while suffering from colon cancer. Full Review
Who knew dying could be such a laugh riot? Certainly not any of us who have actually watched a loved one in the awful final stages of cancer. Full Review
In the long history of bad movies about bad illnesses, "A Little Bit of Heaven" just might be the worst. Full Review
Gren Wells' screenplay throws around a few ideas about female independence and sexuality, but finally it's as shallow as it is mawkish. Full Review
A cringe-inducing romantic comedy turned cancer tragedy turned inspirational hosanna about living in the moment, embracing your bliss and other clichés. Full Review
The film reaches into the pits of moviegoing hell when it finds Marley on a celestial white couch, ringed in billowing white curtains, communing with God. And God is embodied by Whoopi Goldberg. Full Review
A moment of silence, please, for Kate Hudson's career. Full Review
There is nothing the slightest bit heavenly about this project, which is wrong-headed in just about every department. Full Review
