A CINDERELLA STORY is a terrible, non-inventive take on the classic tale in Disney style.

I used to watch this every day. I was obssessed! One of the best chick flicks and one of my favourite quotes 'Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game.' is in this film. Jennifer Coolidge is nothing short of hilarious and Chad Michael Murray is completel... read more

gooodness; This movie is so cute, obviously going to have the PERFECT outcome, but I love when they are at the dance and he's asking her questions (Big Mac haha) and when they're dancing - so cute!

Critic Reviews
Let me get quickly to the word that best describes this movie. It is horrible. Full Review
You can say of this movie, truly, that they took the most famous tale in the world and broke it. Full Review
Desperately conceived by even the most insipid standards of contemporary teen-queen cinema. Full Review
Give this wannabe Cinderella a big Bibbitti Bobbitti Boo. Full Review
It's not a terrible movie, just a disappointingly pleasant one. Full Review
This witless little comedy takes the classic fairy tale and turns it into a Hilary Duff vehicle about popularity, e-mail and cell phones at a San Fernando Valley high school. Full Review
Its take is about as original as its title, full of recycled ideas and half-hearted performances. Full Review
An instantly forgettable wisp of marshmallow that revisits the same teen-crush cliches that have surely been in play since the days of the classic fairy tale it ransacks for inspiration.
The Prince is a wet rag, the slapstick stepsisters are dull and even the fretful Sam seems colorless. Full Review
