This movie is exactly why Giovanni Ribisi is one of my favorite actors. He was brilliant in this movie. But he is in every movie he does. But this movie blew me away. One of the best Mob movies I have ever seen. The cast was so good. The acting was right on the money as they say.... read more

The best gangster film in recent year's. It's Goodfellas meets Donnie Brasco. A stylish, complex, hard-hitting and electrifying movie. A pure knockout. Director, Bobby Moresco has crafted an insightful, powerful, tense, terifficly told and unforgettable crime drama. The cast is a... read more

This was an undeniably smooth and richly detailed mobster crime saga. You will not only enjoy it you will be absorbed by the young and agile characters, (as well as the older veteran ones) as they tell their stories. A haunting believable tale that will always be remembered. In... read more

November 14, 2011fb702418150This had an interesting plot, it had some good actors in it, I didn't expect some of them to be in it. Their was a lot of action in it, none of it seemed too misplaced, it kept me entertained throughout.

It can't decide whether it wants to be an action movie, a gangster tale or a gritty drama. It tries all three and marginally succeeds. Decent performances all around.

Very disturbing. Violent. And I think I've seen Giovanni Ribisi play almost the exact same character in a couple other movies. Overall, though, interesting enough to be worth watching.

I hate to say it, but this film was lackluster all-around. Despite some of my favorite names, the film reeks of cliche and overacted mafioso persona.
An you CAN NOT, I repeat CAN NOT base a movie in Philly and shoot it in Pittsburgh. It's sacrilegious. -

This movie is inspired by Donnie Brasco. There was some mob action going on. Its sad that there has to be so much killing.

A hellish and unconvincing celebration of badda-bing-ness. Full Review
Bobby Moresco, who cowrote Crash and coproduced Million Dollar Baby, makes an undistinguished directing debut, assembling a band of actors who know but two modes: simmering rage and over-the-top histr...
A mix of the first half of Donnie Brasco, the last 20 minutes of A History of Violence and a couple of episodes of I Love the'90s. Full Review
The movie doesn't miss a cliché, ineptly lifting liberally from The Godfather and GoodFellas, among other classics.
At this late date, filmmakers who draw inspiration from the Mafia had better have a whole new angle to offer. Otherwise, they'll end up with a movie like 10th & Wolf. Full Review
10th & Wolf alternates between being bloody good and just plain bloody. Full Review
A grisly gangster movie with moral pretensions, 10th and Wolf never transcends mobster cliches recycled from The Godfather, Donnie Brasco and GoodFellas.
Pic throws together gangster archetypes and set pieces, relying heavily on exposition to stand in for character development. Full Review
