Went in expecting something awful, came out entertained. It's not amazing, this isn't a Mike Meyers character I'm in much of a hurry to see, but its not the worst watch ever
Well developed world but a pretty standard cop thriller. The setting was obviously worked on a lot and they give little details that help make a grounded world, but some of the plot elements seem a bit undeveloped. Still good though
The first hour isn't easy to sit through. It seems slapped together a bit and there's some holes. The SECOND hour on the other hand is well written, covers how much people fall apart and there's a damned good ending. Should have worked on the start more though
Let down by some clunky acting at times, but its a young cast so that's expected, this is a very well done Vampire love tale. Innocent instead of creepy like some others, and no fucking sparkling
Quite well balanced and well performed by all. It would have been easier to have characateured some of the people involved but they avoid it. Brolin NAILS Bush's voice.
This was a NIGHTMARE to find on this site btw, fix the bloody search Flixster...
I'm a nationalist so I'm biased, but I really enjoyed this film and already knew the story. It loses points as the main stars aren't bloody Scottish and they're accents are patchy...
Fantastic! The animation is beautiful and nostalgic, the voice acting and script is funny, moving and the right level of scary for kids. Disney at its finest
Excelent drama sections, for the most part boring musical numbers and they don't gel together at all. It's like two films mushed together, one great one not. Should have made a drama.
A romance without any real passion and a drama that isn't that dramatic. Not everyone has an interesting life story apparently, or this was just a dull telling
Not bad, could have been really good if the kid character had been more developed, the last half hour hadn't been rushed and if it had been all *pew pew, fuck talking*. Klaatu never got to give a message...
A little weak for the first half hour, and at the transition between middle and end, but a very funny movie with good chemistry between the main characters
This actually has a few really good dramatic scenes, it's a shame its surrounded by completely humourless comedy. and bludgoning "satire". Btw, when is this supposed to be set? Half the references are contemporary which makes NO sense
Think the last 20 minutes is bad acid trip hippy bollocks, and they lost points on the lack of accuracy on the space walk (why park so far away? No tethers?!). Otherwise great!
