This is probably the first time I have said this in any of my reviews,I have Never in my life seen acting done quite this well.Daniel Day Lweis was Stellar as always however what Paul Dano brought to the table was very intense!This movie is nothing short of visually Spectacular and and amazing story.You will not get bored,You will not be disappointed,I was glued the entire time **DO NOT MISS THIS ONE**

My first movie of 2008 I am completly GA-GA over.Ben Afffleck shines as a Director.This movie is highly intense and the who did it when ,where ,what all the way to the end,I thought I had it all figured out but was really off.Brilliant performances by Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman,Casey Affleck as wel although I have not seen him in too many movies so don't have much to go off of.But for the subject matter of the movie he did an amazing job.This is REALLY a must see,Next on the list guys,It leaves you asking at the end what would you have done?DAM it was good!!=)

Amazing! At first I thought it was a little slow,and was wondering just exactly what was going on.But once I got into it and followed it,the story sucks you in,Wow shows what can happen when a person carries a deep dark secret their whole life,Definitely Oscar caliber performances ,great cast excellent storyline.You don't want to miss this one! =)

Outstanding movie!Kevin Bacon gives a great performance as a man with a vengence he just cannot quench.Great cast,including a very raw and mean John Goodman,Kelly Preston ( always liked her),But Bacon takes the cake.Very good,NOOOO slow spots,high action ,very suspensful.Makes you wonder what any person would do,what any human may be capable of under these circumstances,Great flick,Check it out! =)

Well here I was all excited because they jam packed a movie with a few of my very fav hunky men.Well SLAP! Reality check this movie was almost overwhelming for me.High tension,highly emotional driven story well acted and sadly true.I guess this one got to me a little bit more because my father has been through 2 wars,It amazes me the man is still completely sane.I always feel very patriotic and very respectful of what ALL of the soldiers are doing in the wars after every war movie.But this is so different,the shit never should have happened.Senseless ,greed,I'll stop before I get myself off on the wrong track.


If any military service soldier happens to stumble across this little review,Please know that I for one Have the utmost respect for you and your choice to go and do what you feel is right for your country,And I Thank you.I will make an extra effort to keep you guys in my mind a little more every day and be thankful for the little things.
I did not know about Stop Loss until this movie.But it's a chilling reminder that every God Dam day,while we are bitching about traffic, slow internet connections,how we have had a stressful day at work,We have men and women stuck in that God forsaken SHITHOLE over there waking up every day praying they will live to see the next sunrise.See This Film!

Simply excellent.At first the narration got on my nerves but I calmed down about that and settled into the story.I learned so much.Aside from that yes the scenery is beautiful.Brad Pitt, I don't know how he is going to be able to keep topping himself as far as his acting ability.I think he will be a wonderful actor until he is very old,I certainly hope so at least.Casey Affleck is truly destined for special things.Excellent film,Yes its a bit long but should defintely NOT be missed.=)

Really cool! Sure creeped me out,had me perched on top of the couch with the lights on bright as the dam sun.LMAo.Anyway Really good film.I really like Del Toro I don't undertsnad why he gets so much crap,He is very unique and I think VERY creative.Anyhow I highly recommend this one for when you want the bejesus scared out of you...several times =)

Very cool flick,Highly recommended.Fast paced,very intens ,twists and turns everywhere.Love the cast Matthew Fox,the amazing Forrest Whittaker,Dennis Quaid as The President's special secret service right hand man.Really good,Don't even blink you might miss something.=)

OMG! Piss your your pants Hysterical! Laughs around every corner.I loved it better than the first one.If you are a fan of this couple of Duo dopers and liked the first one, you will love the second one SEE IT! =)

Great romantic comedy,better than I expected.James Marsden is adorable as usual,who wouldn't want a part with him!!Anyway Katherine Heigl was a very likeable character,and I swear I am loving Judy Greer more and more every timeI see her in a movie she always plays the same kind of part,and she is so good at it,lol.Oh and don't go pee during the bar/Benny and the Jet's part,GREAT stuff.Anyway great film go see it,it almost Valentine's Day.=)

I really liked this movie,I was again for the first half hour comparing it to Step up.Can't do it! They are 2 different world,The first kinda more of a love story,Don't get me wrong it was dam hard staring at Channing and watching him Mmmm Move like that for 2 hours,but anyway this was awesome.I don't know I am absolutely fascinated with Dance films it seems.This had kind of a mediocre storyline however it was carried very well.I want to also add that anyone that plays in any of these movies,Step up,Stomp the yard,etc, these people are NOT just actors they are true athletes,to have the ability to move that way and have all that endurance.Not to mention Its not just memorizing scripts this is countless hours of rehersals these folks go to to be in these films.

Their precision and timing BLOW ME AWAY.Take my opinion for what its worth,I really liked it ALOT,Just remember ,No Channing this time and a completely different storyline for this film.I would recommend this for sure =)

I have finally joined the Cloverfield club lol.I am being generous,(VERY) with giving it the 4.Don't get me wrong it's watchable,The shaky camera didn't bug me as much as I thought it was going to.The cast for being a group of "unknownes" did very well.There were also some pretty good intense scenes.But if you are expecting to see alot of monster action Sorry not this time.It's such a dam tease.But I am not going to say anymore...I don't think I have said anything more than has already been reviwed,So I hope I have not ruined anything for anyone.My best advice see this one for yourself,and YOU be the judge.Oh and if you are gonna pay $$$$ to see this at the theaters,be ready for a quick ride ok?Whole movie Start to finish is 85 minutes.Just something to think about.=)

This was a pretty cool movie,I was just expecting more of what the trailer gives us.What you get though is kind of an unexpected suprise.A story of Regret,Haunting memories and even sadness at times.It's kind of a dark comedy,I liked it ,like I said if you are looking for the whole movie to be like the trailer you will most likely be disappointed.

This is the coolest little movie I have seen in a while.Great ,Great characters,Dustin Hoffman is magnificent! Natalie Portman is sweet as always.Just a great family/kids film about a very magical toy store.Superb special effects and again great cast and very cute story.The kiddies will LOVE this one!=)

lol,Like I was ever going to give this anything less than 5 stars.In fact just imagine that I drew another 3 or 4 stars on there,Cause YA its just that dam good.I was ready to be blown away and I got just that.Incredible sound too,I want to marry the THX guy.Anyway The cast is so good,I dont know about Maggie though I just don't dig on her too much,but thats a personal thing nothing to do with the movie.So lets get dirty then,Non stop action,It was over before I knew it,A few people have commented how long it seems and that they thought it should be shorter,Um I wasn't ready for it to be over.The whole ferry scene was really a trip,I didn't expect that,very cool.Heath Ledger was absolutely magical,in fact his magic trick made my tummy do a little flip too,but he IS the joker,I will probably get a lot of shit for this I DON"T CARE!Bring it!!! Not only does Heath Ledger play the Joker he evolved into the joker and I am sorry I think he makes Jack Nicholson's joker look like child's play.He smacked his version right outta the dam park !There just IS no comparison.Dark,demented,FEARLESS.I love every twisted second he was on the screen.I can't explain the exhilration of finally getting to see this after waiting for what seemed like eternity,It seemed like the wait got longer too after Heath passed away.But it's like stepping into the front car of the brand new roller coaster and literally after the DC comics logo flashed and it was beginning I felt myself take a deep breath,I knew I was in for a great ride.I shit you not I was like Christmas for me today.I know there will be other good movies this year,I won't LET anything in my heart or mind surpass this movie.Oh and families on a tight budget,I get it,but hear me out.If you have 1 movie that you can go to all year and see in the theater you want it to be this one,I guarantee it.Anyone who waits for this to come out on DVD ,you are cheating yourself out of the full experience.Nolan is a brilliant ,brilliant man,nothing was left out.Seriously,riveted the entire time,the music,plot,characters,everything was totally ON POINT.Here I am adding my extra stars here.Go see this movie ASAP!!! =)***** and 5 more for Heath *****

Holy Moses,as immoral and quesey this movie made me,ya know these girls .well the main one had it ALL figured out.The scam of scams to make loads of money,and they did it.I don't want to ruin anything for anyone who has not seen this but its an eye opener,might change your mind on who you leave your children with.lol worth checking it out.

This flick was pretty alright.Nick Stahl plays the brother to Charlize Theron,who is in trouble ,partying it up and basically a mess, with a mess of a life and pre-teen daughter dragged all over to hell and back with her.The acting was good,I had never seen Nick Stahl in anything before so,So far so good there.My little Annasophia Robb,I tell you what this beautiful little girl has so much ahead,she is so talented and did really well in this role.Dennis Hopper,Lord knows I love him but good lord the man plays the meanest old bastard you have ever seen.Pretty good,Not phenomenal but worth watching.=)

KICK ASS!!! See this one right away! This was truly Wicked.I loved every minute of it.Better than the Orphanage in my opinion.This movie has those little hairs on the back of my neck standing up!! CRAZY!!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was a great action flick,Don Cheadle is such a tremendous actor,I can't get enough of his work.Anyway this is way more intense than I had imagined it being,Great film.Check it out! =)

This is literally the most gut wrenching movie I have ever sat through.It's very sad.You wonder how people find the strength to go on when something so horrific happens to them,especially in their early 40's.I was blown away this is a true story.I want to do a little more research on this "locked in syndrome",It's incredibly brave,most people I would think would try to find a way to commit suicide rather than live their whole lives like that.This man was so brave.He had such and understanding support system of nurses,family.It's sad but you find some happiness in it, the way he deals with things,the whole movie is narrated by his thoughts.I absolutely 110% recommend this treasure of a movie =)

Excellent film!,I am so glad one of my best buddies changed my mind on this one.It was great to see Kathy Bates again too.Tyler Perry movies are becoming a fast favorite of mine,Like the one a couple weeks ago,Why did I get married,if you still haven't seen that you have too.This one is just as good just in a different way.But along the same lines in that these movies are made to be so close to real life situations and such they are awesome.Check it out! =)

Great to see Meg Ryan back,she looks as amazing as ever.There are alot of components to this movie that I could drag into the reiew and hash over,but it's late and I always insist on never trying to ruin a movie that someone has not yet seen.This one had it all,Funny moments,teary eyed moments,drama,its all here.Good cast,it took me until the end to figure out that Lucy was Kristen Stewart DUH!,The blond hair threw me off lol.Anyway great little movie this one is definitely worth watching as well. =)

I loved this movie! I have no earthly idea why this is getting squashed by the critics,Grrr don't listen to them.The fact is maybe I was sucked in by this a little more than the average person because I AM one of these women,going through the very same exact thing she was.So this one really hit home.It's perfect,make you laugh,make you cry,make you want to jump for joy.I really liked it.Totally recommended!

Intense ride through and through.Leo does an amazing job in these undercover type roles ,I love it.I am highly recommending this one.

OUTSTANDING!!! This is Brilliant,Powerful and extremely well done in every aspect.This will most definitely make it into Oscar contention in many aspects.Jolie and Malkovich were a great Duo.This film will tear at the heart of any parent and anger you at times beyond belief.But as a mother ANY mother out there will totally get sucked into Jolie's character and what she went through.Absolutely incredible job by everyone on board with this.My hat's off to Mr. Clint Eastwood he does have another Million Dollar baby with this one.And to find out that this was a true story drives the dramatic impact of this film home even more.SEE IT SOON!!!!! =)

I have wanted to see this since the minute I saw the trailer for the first time.It was well worth the wait.A little confusing in the beginning ,but it is supposed to be that way.I am glad I didn't figure this one out right away ,I enjoyed this movie all the more for it.Very heartfelt and moving Seven pounds sends out a powerful message that will really make you think about things in your own life.This is a must see.Highly recommended.Oh and be ready with some tissues.=)

Milk is unforgettable.Sean Penn,James Franco,Josh Brolin give some of the most amazing performances I have ever seen.This movie must be seen with an open mind or I don't think the viewer will get the message that the director really intended.This movie send out a strong message about change and that ONE person in this world with a strong enough passion can make a difference.If you can make it through the content with an open mind you will see so much more in this message than just "gay issues".just amazing.This movie is so empowering and I really cannot say enough about the great acting I am highly recommending this one =)

The year finally finished out nicely in a big way.Bedtime Stories is Awesome!Silly and fun a great cast and ridiculously funny at times.I would venture to say this is the best family film of 2008.See with with your children soon!!! =)

Tom Cruise pulls out another fantastic performance.Don't listen to all the trash talking critics about this movie.Valkyrie is intense and very well done and again Cruise is still one of the main players in Hollywood and proves it time and again.Recommending this for sure! =)

This was much,much better than I expected.All the twilighters that were wanting the Vampire action,you will find it right here,and get your little love stort to boot.This movie is excellent,so simle and uncomplicated,creepy in all the places where the piano music in the background is playing so sweetly.Very different,made in Sweden and if you dont like the subtitles then dont bother,but they are not bad honestly.If you like Vampire flicks at all I highly recommend this one to you.

Great movie,

Sad but also an emotional drudgery.The cast is solid I know Kate is getting all the kudos for this flick which she is naked half the time.Anyway I think the kid I dont even know his name that plays the younger version of Ralph Fiennes is Amazing,that boy has a career in show biz ahead of him.Great story and film.Check it out! =)

It was ok,
Typical horror blood and guts.Much better than the Unborn lol.And Jensen Ackles is hot as hell in this movie.Anyway pretty good and great fun with the 3-D effects.Anyway if you like horror you might give this one a try.=)

I was really leery about seeing this movie because of the fact that I like the funny,bubbly Anne Hathaway and had my doubts about her pulling this off and making this role be believable.Well she totally proved herself to be a great actress! The life she breathes into her character Kym is not only real this could be anyone's family these days.Great cast,great story! Go Anne!

Two stellar actors back at the top of their game.I am so glad they did this movie together.They both did amazing jobs acting in this movie.The movie itself is well REAL.It's marriage alright.The good the bad,and the ugly,all the white lies,all the crap that gets brushed aside all the ugliness that can really come out of two people after so long of being together and not nurturing a relationship.A fantastic movie all around.Highly recommending this movie! =)

I cannot ramble on enough about what a fantastic actress Dakota Fanning really is.She really is a truly remarkable girl in this day and age so mature for her 14 years.She seems to develop more range and depth with each movie as was the case with Hounddog.She sure dedicates herself to practice and getting down accents and just proves time and time again that she is in this for the long haul.I am glad she has a strong support system so that she does not get lost along the way as so many child actors do.Anyway She is stellar the story however is good is not great it could have been developed a little more,tied up a few loose ends but all in all a good movie for sure =)

Goodness I have no clue why I waited so long to see this movie.It was absolutely amazing to say the very least.You get sucked into this story immediately and travel on this journey from boy to man to leader.A couple things that were really standout about this one was the cinematography,and the battle scenes.I will say that the climax of the movie the finale battle scene is probably one of the top 3 most epic battle scenes I have ever seen in a movie,OH YEAH it was that kick ass.If you haven't seen this masterpiece yet dont waste any more time your missing a great film.SO highly recommended!!
