Its a phenomenon and a sensational experience.Despite of its apparent false metaphysics you will be drown in movie.Its from Gaspar Noe,poet of violence who has a very creative mind and his previous movie Irreversible is called a misunderstood classic.Enter the Void literally has nothing to offer, but its like a magic,something unusual that we have rarely experienced.

I'm not very familiar with Kiarostami's old movies.Copy Certified is the second one I've seen from him and for me as a Persian it's embarrassing .I was mostly influenced by the propaganda in Iran against Kiarostami whose films always had been accused of being pretentious and simpleminded .I saw Ten long time ago and I hated it,but after watching this impressive avant garde ,I think I should watch it again.It's hard to write about the point of the movie in few lines since it's too rich and deep.Only thing I didn't like about this movie was Elle character who wasn't believable and her sentimental behavior didn't seem convincing.

The result is a rare meditation.Extremely charming and magical animation with marvelous and atmospheric score which turned this simple animation to a sweet dream.My favorite animation of 2010.It's obviously ahead of overrated Toystory.

A beautiful poetic movie from director of Nobody Knows.The ending was the main point of movie,which gave us a deep feeling.It tried to bring up questions such as why we should make life intolerable and instead of loving each other grieve for the ones we have lost.While we know that life is short and soon we are going to die.I should admit the movie was a bit boring and required more material.We feel emotionally affected but at the same time we arent sure if it is a big deal.

It's son-father-religion triangle that is narrated in best possible way.The beautiful ending turned this small movie to a masterpiece . Didn't expect such a great movie from turkey's cinema. Honey alongside Distant is one of the movies that define turkish cinema in current century.

I love everything about Haneke's cinema.Such as realistic narration and unpredictable events,....I think White Ribbon is his best so far.Haneke is master of suspense and it's unfair if we just admire the intellectual concept of his movies.Empty spaces in his movies allow us to live within characters and grasp the movie's heart.At the first the ending seemed confusing but like Cache it included all the clues.Definitely is movie of the year.

Terrence Malick instead of creating unrealistic characters and complicated storylines focuses on the most important things in human's life which are philosophy of creation and human's nature. He tries to make the metaphysics tangible and ignore life's material side .after watching three of life,I felt that i don't need to watch spiritless and fake stories anymore. What made the tree of life emotionally rich ,was Malick's passion for seeking the roots and spirits of what we always see its outer side. It's normal that he doesn't care about the habits of impatient audience. Studying the humans reaction toward the simple events and other humans is what we really need for perfection and true happiness.

Visually was one of the most beautiful movies that i have ever seen and makes me ignore its lack of context.Maybe no one could play Emma's role as good as Tilda Swinton and once again she proved herself with an unforgettable performance.Although except Swinton's performane and visual achievement,movie isnt very remarkable but it isnt empty either
What movie tries to say is controversial that every person has the right to fight the forced life with no guilt feeling and no matter what this freedom costs,people can trust their feeling and lust is meaningless

The movie is divided to two parts.First half absolutely is brilliant,magical and includes some of the greatest cinematic moments in recent years and it's kinda Tarkovsky/Kiarostami's directing styles combination.In second part unfortunately it starts fading and failes to create unique cinematic scenes like the first half however it doesn't lose its structure and master director,Ceylan successes to illustrate what he has in mind.In my opinion in 2011 which was a bad year for movies there were only three films with the potential for becoming a classic.Once Upon a Time in Anatolia,The Tree of Life and A Separation.

Andrea Arnold had shown her potential in Red Road and her future success was predictable.I liked the realistic atmosphere of the movie and Also like in Red Road cinematography was remarkable.Michael Fassbender's performance was one of the Fish Tank's great points.Definitely one of the best of 2009.

A masterpiece, and of the best movies of alltimes.Its so deep,flawless and obviously ahead of its similar classics.We rarely see such a subtle metaphor in movies.Besides A Prophet,Jacques Audiard has two more powerful and complicated crime dramas(The Beat That My Heart Skipped and Read My Lips).I recommend these too.

Another satisfying movie from one of the best directors of recent decades,Pedro Almodovar.There are many admirable characteristics of his spectacular cinema that we can mention.Personally i just dont like his sense of humor and whenever he tried to use less comedy themes,result was fabulous, like Volver and Talk to her.

If you are fan of cult movies,shouldnt miss this one.It has intresting plot and i wish it was longer ,so i could enjoy more.Dogtooth is about controling the wild nature of human being by restricting the instincs and keeping them away from civilization and dangers of modern society.Somehow similar to Ki duk Kim's Spring Summer, which of course was a masterpiece and better than Dogtooth.I dont judge the true and falseness of movie's concept.Nature of human is too complicated to be discussed.In my opinion its diffrent,original and intresting.

What a strange movie! Never saw a movie like this before. It's too original and different .This bizarre Brazilian movie without any actor, only with a narrator is like a compelling nightmare. Its haunting images are strangely scary and at the same time thought-provoking.

At first it was hard to grasp the movie's heart since the director had chosen a cold and bitter style for story telling.Eventually could connect to the movie and was impressed by some parts of it.Chain saw sequence and also it's connection to Ree's nightmare were unforgettable.In the end we deeply feel the loneliness and sorrow of the characters.Jennifer Lawrence's performance was memorable as well and she deserves an Oscar nomination

Beautifully made from director of Oasis.He has tried to create a real and tangible atmosphere about the modern life's social disorders.The main story shows us the bitter side of machinery life and at the same time, connection of the creativity in writing poem with tasting the bitterness of life.It's one of those movies which leaves you with an unusual feeling. After watching it you feel that it hasn't finished yet and you're going to live with that for days.
Movie tries to say what the modern society and machinery life has brought up is the youth's depression, sexual disorders, material life and destruction of morality. New generation seems more frustrated than older ones.There is a gap between the generations in this society whose bitter side is more inspiring for writing poem than it's hidden beauty .The forced bitterness and disorders that makes our passionate feeling about discovering the nature's beauty unreal.
