Pride and Prejudice 2005,  PG)
Pride and Prejudice
I love Pride & Prejudice. This film is what made me a Keira Knightley fan. It is beautifully filmed. Macfadyen is amazing as Mr. Darcy.

This is my favorite romance movie of all time. It's heartwarming and sweet. I also appreciate that Elizabeth Bennet is headstrong and stubborn, and that she doesn't abide to what society expects from a woman during that time.

It also has a lovely soundtrack that matches its scenery.

The Holiday 2006,  PG-13)
The Holiday
Enjoyable. Kate Winslet is the strongest of the cast. She has you laughing and then tearing up all in the same scene. Jude Law is rather dashing. Jack Black is a smeck of comedy and Cameron Diaz is alright.

Amélie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain)
I have finally watched Amelie. I loved it. It was a unique film (which I always appreciate) and it was quirky and sweet. It's one of those movies you smile pretty much the entire time and as silly as you might feel, you can't wipe the grin off your face.

I'm really glad I finally saw this film. Audrey Tautou is great. I love her little grin/smirk.

August Rush 2007,  PG)
August Rush
Was it predictable?
Pretty much.
Was the love unrealistic?
Yes.

Overall it was a feel good movie though. I left the theater feeling happy and the music is amazing. Plus Freddie Highmore is a good actor and i think he has a bright future ahead of him.
