This movie has been over hyped by every single person online and I went out of my way and bought it. Come to find it, the movie is very half baked and it leaves you very angry and cheated at the end. Not saying a movie has to have a happy ending but this is seriously lacking in alot of places.

Eh this is ok for an early 80s Italian warriors street gang rip off movie. Its good to kill a couple hours on a weeknight when you can't find anything else to watch and don't mind an older cheesy action movie now and then. If anything some of the stupid parts are good for a laugh with your buddies and some of the action scenes are somewhat impressive.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three
This is one hell of a classic 70s movies that surprised the crap outta me. I started watching it and couldn't stop, wasn't bored at all during this. I can't say that about most 70s crime dramas either. This had a perfect balance of some action, drama and intentional/unintentional comedy. This is a great crime/disaster hybrid that captured the true feel of New York City in 1974. I haven't seen the remake of fhis......but something tells me I'm not going to be super into it,because this movie did the job right the first time.

Enemy Territory
This is one of the greatest under the radar movies that not many people even know about. Starring Ray Parker Jr. The guy who wrote the theme for Ghostbusters, along with an unknown actor named Gary Frank, they're basically held hostage in a ghetto gang controlled tenement building, where they have to depend on the help of the folks who live in the building to hide and make their escape from the psycho 80s street gang, "The Vampires". The gang led by the brilliant as always Tony Todd, is a typical 80s stereotype for what gangs were in movies at the time, wearing headbands and sleeveless leather jackets. They terrorize the people in the building going from apartment to apartment looking for Parker and frank. Beating and killing almost everyone in their path, the movie never lets up and is a constant thrill ride the whole way through. This isn't super super violent and plays the blood and gore to a minimum, but when someone dies in this, its taken pretty seriously and isn't like a cliche action movie where its just touch and go when someone dies. Stacey Dash from Clueless and Deon Richmond (the token black guy from not another teen movie) play two younger kids in the apartment helping the two main leads find secret tunnels and shortcuts to escape the gang. Ray Parker really held his own during the whole movie, and I was amazed he never really had a movie career after his solid acting job in this, and Gary Frank even though annoying really played the scared nerdy white guy perfectly, so you actually felt for him when he was forced to kill people. Overall my review couldn't do this movie justice, you just have to see it for yourself...if you can find it that is because this movie for some stupid reason is out of print and hasn't been released on dvd because of rights issues or something. If you can find it online or on vhs I suggest buying it and watching it. I found it online and it just blew me away with how solid and awsome it was. If you like 80s semi cheesy but entertaining gang suspense movies set in the ghetto, and if you're a Tony Todd fan this will be your cup of tea for sure. Also if you like Jan Michael Vincent and want to see him play a crippled, pissed off, paranoid, Vietnam vet, in a motorized wheelchair...then this is your movie lol

One of the earliest examples of the big budget cop movie from the 70s. Gene Hackman plays a tough cop after french heroin smugglers, based on a true story. This has one of the most amazing car chase scenes ever!!!

The Exterminator
A cheap, violent, entertaining grindhouse masterpiece that delivers the goods. This one surprised me with how good it actually was the first time I watched it, not really expecting much. Robert Ginty aka The Exterminator is the total anti leading man actor who pulls off this role despite his everyday normal guy appearance. He gave the role of the Vietnam Vet gone apeshit a depth and a realty you can't get from a Stallone or a bigger name actor.
Some of the ways he killed the scumbags in this were beyond brutal and the flamethrower was a perfect touch. Christopher George was sort of a throw away cop character who would show up every now and then and is on the trail of the vigilante killer, but you kinda just don't want to see him after a couple scenes. I know I just wanted to see Robert Ginty roast the scummiest of scumbags. Some of the guys he kills in this you will totally just have no mercy for especially the guy who runs the underage boy rape room, and the client who ties young boys up and burns and rapes them....who also turns up to be a United States Senator. Pretty much this movie is one of the ultimate over the top vigilante movies that will satisfy any action fan or revenge movie fan who's looking for a good weekend watch.

When Death Wish and Dirty Harry just aren't cutting it for you in terms of outright crazy violence....Call the Exterminator.
