Friday Night Lights 2004, PG-13)
The most entertaining High School Fototball Movie ever made. As a former Football Player (ROLB, QB), I played many games on Friday Nights. I still remember a speech my old Head Coach made, "this game is a game of inches, during this game you must take those inches. If you play with heart and determination you will prevail, for failure is not an option." Football was one of five sports I played (Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Hockey), but nothing can match the rush you get running out on the field and seeing your teacher's, class-mates, parents and friends glued onto your every move. This movie shows what a team, school, community can achieve when you believe, winning is not the most important lesson here. It is team work, the love and respect a player has for their team-mates, school, community and for the great game of Football. |

Tora! Tora! Tora! 1970, G)
My favorite Pearl Harbor Movie of all time. Based on the records obtained after World War II from the Japanese, this movie show's the great steps taken by Japan and it's Military Leader's to Attack Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and to inflict as much damage upon the U.S. Pacific Fleet as possible. Adm. Yamamoto was correct about America, this attack woke up a sleeping giant and in less then 4 years the war in the Pacific was over. In the end two atomic bombs were dropped on Japan, resulting in Japan finally surrendering to the United States, thus ending World War II. |

Thirteen Days 2000, PG-13)
One of the best movie ever made about the Missile's of October (a.k.a. The Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962). Kevin Costner (Kenneth O'Donnell), Bruce Greenwood (John "Jack" F. Kennedy), Steven Culp (Robert "Bobby" F. Kennedy) were outstanding. They brought to life their character's and the entire Kennedy White House during one of the greatest crisis ever faced by the United States or a U.S. President. In October 1962, the Soviets were expanded their influence in many places (Vietnam, Berlin and Cuba). It is my firm belief that the Soviets had plans to eventually force President Kennedy into a trade (Berlin for Cuba), thus motivating them to installed ICBM's and Tactical Nukes (a.k.a. Frogs) therein Cuba just 90 miles off U.S. Soil. President Kennedy's course of action and the offical rules of engagement were tested. With the help of the Kennedy Administration, lead by Sec. of Defense Robert "Bob" McNamara, President Kennedy was eventually able to cut a deal with the Soviets, pledging not to invade or aid other's in invading Cuba and a pledge to withdrawl U.S. Missile's for Turkey. In exchange for a Soviet withdrawl of all offensive nuclear missiles, soviet personnel, bomber's and other aircarft and other potentially threatening military hardware from CUBA. In the end, President Kennedy and the world dodged a bullet that could have ended all life on this small planet and in short this were President Kennedy's finest days in office and that set him apart from any past and any future U.S. President to come. Had President Kennedy ordered an Invasion of Cuba, based on new intelligence reports from D.O.D. the U.S. and or Military Forces would have been attacked with Soviet ICBM's and Tactical Nukes. |

JFK II: The Bush Connection 2003, Unrated)
While this documentary provides interesting opinions and theories, it lacks the real best evidence needed to establish a firm connection between George H. W. Bush and the John F. Kennedy Assassination on November 22, 1963. It is a common fact that George H. W. Bush had connections with O.N.I., C.I.A., F.B.I. during the 1960's, it is also possible that his father (U.S. Senator Prescott Bush) provided George H. W. Bush with the political connections, financial network that lead to his being elected Vice President in 1980, 1984 (under President Ronald Reagan) and President of the United States in 1988. If anyone had the means and ability to execute a Presidential Assassination it was George H. W. Bush. In order to prove this theory you would have to start with a comprehensive investigaton of Allen Dulles, J. Edgar Hoover, E. Howard Hunt, Richard Helms, Richard M. Nixon, Lyndon B. Johnson. Then and only then can you link the F.B.I., C.I.A. Johnson, Nixon and Bush White House to the John F. Kennedy Assassination and it's cover-up. |

Steven Spielberg really set the bar high on this movie. Spielberg and his chew recreated down to earth believeable Dinosuars. T-Rex was my favorite, the Rapor's were excellent too. This is a must see for all parents and their Dino loving kids. But beware it does have some bloody scene's, and for those of you who are very analitical this movie will give you data to chew on. |
