Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 2011,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2
My only complaint is that it could have been longer, especially when it came to a few certain character's death's to add more of an impact. but that is a small thing compared to the overall epic experience. All actors shine from the good to the evil. Matthew Lewis is defiantly a stand out and shows that his character is more then you would expect.

Midnight in Paris 2011,  PG-13)
Midnight in Paris
A beautiful love story between a man searching for more and a city offering it all.
3
Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol 2011,  PG-13)
Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol
Great story, suspense and effects.
4
Drive 2011,  R)
Drive
Dark, and entertaining film about a loner man who finds a family, and what happens when that family is threatened, and the lengths he will go to save them. Great performances from all the cast, and worthy of few oscar nods for sure.

PS the sound track is great, especially with the views of downtown Los Angeles at night.
5
Hugo 2011,  PG)
Hugo
A new movie, set in the past about how movies that were made before this film takes pace were amazing. My only complaint is that more actual footage of paris should have been used, instead of special effect, yes not everything in Paris is today is old, but most still remains.
6
Super 8 2011,  PG-13)
Super 8
If you have seen Clover felid then you mostly know what the monster (alien) looks like! There are som corny parts, especially at the end, but a good story and good performances from the young cast give this period piece a good feel.
7
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 2011,  R)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Dark and Twisted, a portrait of a sick family know person would wish to be apart of.
8
The Artist 2011,  PG-13)
The Artist
A fun filled adventure that reminds us of the not the distance past
9
50/50 2011,  R)
50/50
A film that can make you laugh and cry in the right ways is rare and this is one of them.
10
X-Men: First Class 2011,  PG-13)
X-Men: First Class
The actors play their roles well. With it taking place during an actual historic event makes for a fun tweak on history.
11
Rise of the Planet of the Apes 2011,  PG-13)
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
great effects, and acting from all characters, human or ape.
12
The Descendants 2011,  R)
The Descendants
Hawaii is as much a character in this film and the others.
13
The Muppets 2011,  PG)
The Muppets
The muppets and back, and i like it! So did the jubilant audience i saw it with. I have watched all the muppets movies, but most i haven't seen in 15 or more years. This makes me want to watch them all again.
14
Bridesmaids 2011,  R)
Bridesmaids
Not as funny as i was expecting, though still funny.
15
The Help 2011,  PG-13)
The Help
Well acted, and very well cast, this is a interesting and disturbing look into the not to distance past.
16
Horrible Bosses 2011,  R)
Horrible Bosses
A fun, funny comedy with great leads, and performances from them. my only real concern is the ending seems a little rushed and doesn't really fit.
17
Fright Night 2011,  R)
Fright Night
a remake that hold its own, big changes but the basic story is the same
