1
The Rage: Carrie 2 1999,  R)
The Rage: Carrie 2
Really shocking than the original 1976 movie in the scene of when Rachel's (Emily Bergl) temper's crossed it triggers a powder-keg of anger and unleashes special powers that can turn a fun, house party into a mad-house inferno.
2
The Rainmaker 1997,  PG-13)

4
Rambo (Rambo IV) 2008,  R)
Rambo (Rambo IV)
Sylvester Stallone made this action-packed movie very graphic violence and plenty of noises than the past Rambo series. Awesome! And I'm a bit surprised to see Stallone is still fit enough on his current age (over 60s) for his heroic character like he did on Rocky Balboa and in his John Rambo character seems a bit familiar of himself from the past series after 20 years later.
5
Random Hearts 1999,  R)

6

12
Rebound 2005,  PG)
Rebound
Hilarious! Precious film minutes are wasted as Martin Lawrence ho-hums the gig, Pace picks up when he puts his heart into transforming his geeky team into confident winners. Despite a few humour gaps, the film manages to entertain in large part because of the believability of the painful, embarrassing moments the kids experience asking the way.

15
Red Dragon 2002,  R)
Red Dragon
This remake from 1986's Michael Mann's Manhunter is much better and thrilling, and even inevitable, given the cultural impact of Anthony Hopkins's performances as Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lector in The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. Edward Norton's portrayal of FBI agent Will Graham gives this movie its moral centre and believability.
16
Red Eye 2005,  PG-13)

24
Replicant 2001,  R)
Replicant
Preposterous thriller stars Jean-Claude Van Damme not once but twice, playing a clone of himself. The original Van Damme is a vicious serial killer terrorising Seattle. The second Van Damme is a clone of the killer, created with the hopes of being used to track down the original. It plays as silly as it sounds, a sci-fi rehash of several genres with as much flair and excitement as dead grass. The production values are higher, but the acting and script are direct-to-video masterpiece.
25
Resident Evil 2002,  R)
Resident Evil
This horror-action based on the popular video game series film is superb and shocking with sexy Milla Jovovich as the heroine who fights against the undead and evil.
26
Resident Evil - Apocalypse 2004,  R)
Resident Evil - Apocalypse
The Sketchy story is little more than a nod to dark city action such as Escape From New York and the film never stops feeling like the video games that inspired it. but an excellent cast adds personality, while the action slams along. Milla Jovovich displays the mournful desperation that steadied her otherwise comic character in The Fifth Element.
27
Resident Evil: Extinction 2007,  R)
Resident Evil: Extinction
Cool action-horror with the return of the heroine Alice (Milla Jovovich) in this based on the video game movie. Jovovich's action performances seem fantastic and these zombies are excellent in the make-up effect to look very dry skin at the desert.
28

Zai zhan jiang hu (Return Engagement)(Hong Kong Corruptor)
Cool Hong Kong action of the vengeances between the good and evil gangsters.
29
Return from Witch Mountain 1978,  G)
Return from Witch Mountain
A sequel from Escape to Witch Mountain is an okay family film, but weak Disney. Christopher Lee and Bette Davis' performances were average so are the special effects. I can't wait to see the new reimagining of Witch Mountain starring Dwayne Johnson this year.
30
Return to Me 2000,  PG)
Return to Me
Actress-director Bonnie Hunt makes this wonderful comedy-drama film which seems very emotionally, heartwarming and funny of the young couple who has a very strong heart like fell in love, neither aware of the medical miracle that bonds them; the point of the story is what will happen after they do find out. The result is a charming example of the kinder, gentler filmmaking that couples or parents often complain we "don't see enought of anymore." And the seniors are really hilarious.
31
Ride with the Devil 1999,  R)

Love this Marilyn Monroe's Old West film with Robert Mitchum.
40
The River Wild 1994,  PG-13)
The River Wild
I started to like Meryl Streep in this adventure-thriler film because she's fantastic for the American deaf culture by using American sign language in her character. And she successfully invades Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone territory when her family is terrorized by a psychotic killer while on a white-water rafting vacation.

44

Road Trip
Heaps of teen comedy and sexual with unrated and uncensored in the DVD than theatrical version - AMAZING! BLOODY FUNNY! I like Amy Smart in naked!
45
Robin and Marian 1976,  PG)
Robin and Marian
The quite fine adventure film is full of heroes that are larger than life, villians who are more than evil, one of the greatest love stories ever told and one of the greatest adventures of all time. Believe me, this story is kind of funny between Robin and Marion in their old times when they grow older.
46
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves 1991,  PG-13)
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Kevin Costner makes a likeable Robin Hood, good fun, full of spectacle and great gags. Alan Rickman's the one who steals the picture as the hysterically funny, yet never les than evil, Sheriff of Nottingham.

RoboCop
Excellent action-sci-fi film and Peter Weller does an excellent job as a super-cyborg cop.

Robocop 2
This sequel has plenty of nasty violence. I like the scenes of RoboCop vs RoboCop 2.
49
Robocop 3 1992,  PG-13)
Robocop 3
Robert John Burke is a worst performance in this prequel metal hero film without Peter Weller.

The Rock
Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage are superb in this hard-hitting action and suspense film.
51
The Rocketeer 1991,  PG)
The Rocketeer
The flying sequences are incredibly jerky and unbelievable, as is the airship.

Rocky 1976,  PG)
Rocky
Sylvester Stallone made a great acting, screenwriter and boxing choregrapher in this boxing drama story.
53

Rocky II
The first Rocky is better than this sequel after a down-and-out fighter attempting to prove himself through a rematch with the champ.
54
Rocky III 1982,  PG)
Rocky III
This third Rocky Balba series is surprisingly entertaining with the perfomrances including Mr. T and wrestler Hulk Hogan. Sylvester Stallone manages to make it work.
55
Rocky IV 1985,  PG)
Rocky IV
The best one of Rocky movies because it excites me to watch USA vs USSR in the champion boxing match - really tough.
56
Rocky V 1990,  PG-13)
Rocky V
Rocky is no longer a boxer turned to boxing coach instructor as his former coach with good old memories from the first original film.
57
Rocky Balboa 2006,  PG)
Rocky Balboa
Fantastic and "knockout" of Sylvester Stallone's return as the old Italian Stallion boxer since 16 years (from 1990 to 2006). Stallone seemed fit enough for his own boxing training in his own filming - wow! And good memories of places where Rocky and his widow first met and in the boxing club after 30 years later that I last remembered.
58
Roman Holiday 1953,  Unrated)
Roman Holiday
Audrey Hepburn is wonderfully performance in her first starring role of this white and black romantic comedy film.

69
Runaway 1984,  PG-13)

Fine thriller of a futuristic cop (Tom Selleck) trying to track down robots that have gone bad. The acid-squirting, exploding electric spiders are a good touch of genius.

My favourite screen couple reunites this runaway romantic-comedy is much hilarious.
71

Good comedy-drama of the political and candidate with Tom Selleck and his female co-stars.
73
Running Scared 2005,  R)
Running Scared
Supercharged action-packed opening this gritty actioner film winds you up and doesn't let go for a minute. Paul Walker's best performance and always make plenty of cool coarse languages.
74
Rush Hour 1998,  PG-13)
Rush Hour
Brilliant action-comedy with Jackie Chan, the fastest hands in the East, and Chris Tucker, the biggest mouth in the West which is better than any Lethal Weapon seen before!
75
Rush Hour 2 2001,  PG-13)
Rush Hour 2
This action-comedy sequel is explosively action-packed and outrageously sharp and funny than the first one. The final showdown in Las Vegas is really exciting and Zhang Ziyi's performance is cool as the seductively evil henchwoman.
76
Rush Hour 3 2007,  PG-13)
Rush Hour 3
I couldn't stop laughing at Chris Tucker's bloody non-stop mouth talking and his acting and Jackie Chan's amazing fighting skills and aerobatics against the enemies - more exciting action-comedy since the sequels of Rush Hour series. Their characters are like the old times since almost 10 years. Tell you the truth, I really like the second one the best because of excitement with cop buddies in the casino and sexy female fatale.
77
Biohazard: Degeneration (Resident Evil: Degeneration) 2008,  R)
Biohazard: Degeneration (Resident Evil: Degeneration)
Given the video game origins, it's only fitting that the latest in the Resident Evil franchise should be rendered as a feature-length CG anime which is familiar to Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. The characters look so real - the detail in these CGI creations is amazing - that I can tell the difference between them and the stars of the previous movie!
78
Return to Snowy River 1988,  PG)
Return to Snowy River
This sequel of The Man from Snowy River is so impressive that possesses every essential characteristic of the first film; sensationally beautiful cinematography, a stunning focus of the Australian high country, the second most impressive footage of horses ever filmed. Director Geoff Burrowes has done a superb job with this film so are two actors, Tom Burlinson and Sigrid Thornton, who returned to their characters. I really liked the horse scenes that makes you go exciting like a roller coaster ride.
79
Reservoir Dogs 1992,  R)
Reservoir Dogs
Writer-director Quentin Tarantino made his debut film with the story of a diamond heist (like Men in Black) gone awry. Strong ensemble acting and a brain-twisting array of unexpected plot turns make this one of the best crime-thrillers ever made. The brutal violence may be too much for some, but it is never glorified.
The cast are excellent and turn the hard-boiled dialogue into convincing scenes. Harvey Keitel is wonderful. His character is a father figure of sorts and he is wildly out of control at times and balanced at others. Likewise Steve Buscemi is wide-eyed and freaking out for much of the film, but he does it well. Tim Roth is more balanced but is still good for it; it is his job to carry the emotional weight of the film and he does it well, despite a wandering American accent at times. Michael Madsen is great, maybe not the best character but wildly out of control. Lawrence Tierney was a great piece of casting, as was Bunker. Chris Penn was good, but not the best of the cast.

Bo bui gai wak (Rob-B-Hood) (Robin-B-Hood) 2006,  Unrated)
Bo bui gai wak (Rob-B-Hood) (Robin-B-Hood)
Star-studded enjoyable Jackie Chan movie with an excellent combination of action and comedy, and adorable baby! This have been touched upon in movies like Three Men and a Baby, or even Raising Arizona. TWO THUMBS UP!
Jackie isn't what he used to be back in the heyday of 1980's Hong Kong cinema, but his top notch action choreography is still inventive and fun to watch, and there are many fun set pieces. The comedy is also very well done and there are many endearing scenes with the real star of the show, baby Matthew Medvedev, who will melt any viewer's heart. Jackie and his co-stars' characters are very sympathetic and the acting for the most part is spot on. Benny Chan does an excellent job directing his stars and shows that he is not only able to direct a serious action crime drama like Chan's previous New Police Story but is also adept at the family action comedy as well. There are many cameos from well known HK stars, so be sure to watch out for them.

Reunion in France (Mademoiselle France) (Reunion) 1942,  PG)
Reunion in France (Mademoiselle France) (Reunion)
A romantic melodrama that is badly dated, especially considering the fact that it top lines John Wayne and he doesn't get the girl in the last reel.
There's been some criticism by other reviewers that Joan Crawford doesn't sound French. Then again neither does anyone else in the film. The rest of the cast.
