Scream 1996, R)
Scream is no doubt one of my all-time favorites and probably my favorite horror flick of all-time. Scream is about Sydney Prescott and her friends being stalked by an insane killer going around calling the teens first before he breaks in their house and try to kill the person. Now they kids must follow the rules to a horror movie because this killer has seen one to many. The thing I like about Scream is that it's not like any horror movie because it adds so much stuff like the mystery and how they make fun of horror movies. They also add the rules of a horror movie like don't drink or do drugs, don't have sex, or say I'll be right back because if you do that stuff in a horror movie you die. Wes Craven has created on of the best movies ever, to be honest this was way better than Nightmare on Elm Street. This movie also has many intense scenes that I think people would enjoy allot during this movie with some awesome kill scenes that adds to the intense scenes. In my mind the cast in this movie is amazing who play very memorable characters that I think I will always remember. Neve Campbell is fantastic in this movie who plays Sydney and I think I will always remember Neve for this franchise because in these movies I think she's really cute and she was just as good as Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween. Courtney Cox is great as the reporter Gale Weathers and she's just great at this role because she is what a reporter would be like in this type of situation because she won't stop until she gets her story. David Arquette plays fantastic as Dewey Riley who is like the cop that seems really dorky but he's really cool in these movies and when I think of police in horror movie he comes to mind. The most under rated actor I think in this movie is Jamie Kennedy because I love his character Randy so much. Randy is like me because were not the coolest and were big movie fans and we just want a girl so bad (not to sound desperate). Wes Craven;s Scream is one of the greatest films I have ever seen in my life that I think any horror fan or mystery fan should see. |

Scream 2 1997, R)
Wes Craven's sequel to his surprise hit Scream, is another great Horror/Mystery movie but not as good as the original. The original cast is back and and still good with some other people that were good to. This movie felt like it went by fast and kind of like the original but still a good mystery and a good movie. The plot is like the title, a new killer emerges to create a real life sequel with murders from names from the Woodsboro murder and the main target Sydney again. This movie got me thinking again but it was more predictable this movie but I didn't see the big shock at the end of the movie. Scream 2 is a really good movie to the great Scream. |

Scream 3 2000, R)
Wes Craven is back for the third installment of the Scream series. This movie to was going for a little more on the comedy side but this movie was still really good. Patrick Dempsey was a great addition to the series and played great as the detective that's trying to help Sidney. In the third installment another killer is on the lose but this time he's killing of the the set in the order they die in Stab 3 a movie their making. Sidney is also being haunted by her mom. I must say I was stupid on this movie because I was to blind to catch the killer, but I didn't see the twist in the end. Scream 3 is another good installment to this series but the mystery should be easy to you. |

Batman Begins 2005, PG-13)
Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins is a fantastic start to the new Batman series and the first Batman movie that is just absolutely perfect. Batman Begins is about Bruce Wayne and his beginning of being Batman. When he was a boy he witnessed the murder of his parents and ever since he's wanted to stop thugs like the guy who killed his parents. He soon learns the way of criminals and gets locked up in jail for being with criminals. He gets let out with the help from Henri Ducard who is apart of a organization that stops crime led by Ra's Al Ghul. He soon learns many thing and goes back to Gotham City were criminals rule and the city and is there to stop all crime. Ever since I was a little kid I have loved Batman. Tim Burton's Batman movies were great but not perfect. Then Joel Schumacher's Batman movies came out and those were just nothing but crap. Now it's Christopher Nolan and in his first Batman movie he does it perfect. There isn't a single thing about this movie that isn't perfect. The story for this movie is truly amazing because it's like no other superhero movie because it has it's superhero story moments but it is also mixed with some really good crime drama. If you think this is just going to be a silly superhero movie you are way wrong because it has crime drama which most superhero movies don't have. This movie also has some intense action sequences that are very well done and very entertaining. The drama in this movie is also very well done. The actors in this movie were all perfect for the roles they got and do not disappoint. Out of all the actors who ever played Batman Christian Bale is by far the best. He is a great Batman but he is also great for being Bruce Wayne as well. Bruce Wayne as a character in this movie was also very well done. Liam Neeson gives an amazing performance for the time he was in this movie in this movie as Bruce's mentor. For the lead female role the beautiful Katie Holmes gives a great performance as Bruce's best friend and isn't just for looks in this movie. Gary Oldman gives an awesome performances a Jim Gordon and Cillian Murphy give a great performance as the movie villain, Scarecrow. Christopher Nolan's directing is also spot on in this movie as well. Overall Batman Begins is one of the best superhero movies ever made as well one of the best movies ever made, this is a must see for anybody. |

The Dark Knight 2008, PG-13)
Christopher Nolan's sequel to the already perfect Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, is the best superhero film out there and will be for quite some time and one of the best movies ever made and to me it is the best movie ever made. The Dark Knight takes place in a time now were Gotham City is more safe now with Batman watching over everything and the new District Attorney Harvey Dent locking up most of the criminals in the city. But soon all hell is about loose when a new villain comes to this city, The Joker. Joker soon makes this city go crazy with all his killings and all the chaos he's causing, now it's Batman's job to lock this maniac away. For many year I have loved Batman and ever since I was a little kid he was my favorite superhero. Until Christopher Nolan stepped up to be the director of the next Batman series there was not one Batman movie that was absolutely perfect. In 2005 Batman Begins came out and turned into one of the best superhero movies ever made and one of my favorite movies and three years later the series gets even better. To me this movie is twice as better than Batman Begins and ever since I first saw this movie in 2008 it has become my all time favorite movie. The story in this movie is just absolutely awesome and like the first movie it had some crime drama but in this movie it doubles that crime drama and does a very awesome job at doing it. To be honest you can't just think of this movie as a superhero movie but also a crime movie as well. Anyways the story is very well done in this movie and no better way to show the coolest of all of Batman's villains. The action in this movie is absolutely awesome in this movie and very entertaining to watch with some awesome scenes with some amazing special effects. This movie also has an all-star cast that gives some of the best performances ever. Of course Christian Bale is back and gives yet another great performance as Batman/Bruce Wayne but the new actors to the Batman series also give amazing performances. Heath Ledger gives his best performance of his career in this movie as the Joker in this movie and is truly one of the most memorable performances of all time. To me Joker was always one of my favorite villains ever and Heath Ledger was absolutely perfect for this role and his performance was probably the best out of the whole movie, Heath Ledger really deserved that Oscar. Not only was Heath Ledger awesome in this movie but his character was very well done. The Dark Knight's Joker is probably the greatest villain ever made and one thing I really liked about this movie is in the beginning they said he wasn't that big of an issue but after that the whole movie concerned catching him. as for Aaron Eckhart he gives a magnificent performance as well as Harvey Dent and was ten times as better in this roles as Tommy Lee Jones. Usually I don't like re-castings but in this movie I can handle it because Maggie Gyllenhaal gives an great performance in the role as Rachel Dawes and possibly better than Katie Holmes. Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman are stunning in this movie as well as everyone else in this movie. I also can't write this review without saying that Hans Zimmer's music in this movie is amazing as well as everything else in this movie. Overall The Dark Knight is one of the best movies in cinema history and to me the best movie ever made (so far), Christopher Nolan I cant wait to see what you have in store for us next! |

Batman 1989, PG-13)
Tim Burton's Batman is a great start to the Batman series and would soon turn this into an amazing franchise. Batman is about Bruce Wayne who is a crime fighter in Gotham City and one night he ends up at a chemical lab were he has to stop this gang. When he gets there he accidentally lets go of one of the thugs, Jack Napier, into a pool of acid. Jack soon returns but now as the Joker who plans on taking control of Gotham City and now Batman has to stop him. I've always loved Batman and Tim Burton's start to the franchise is a great start to this series. After this movie Batman got to a whole new level of fame and if it weren't for this there would be no cartoons or The Dark Knight and that's one thing to like about Batman. Another thing to like about this movie is it's story because with the Joker it always turns out interesting with the other side stories the movie has. One of the only things I disliked about this film is that I felt one scene was very poorly written and here and there were a few bad dialogue in conversations. To make up for that this movie has some really good action scenes to entertain the audience and also has allot of humor that I actually enjoyed during the movie. This movie also has a great cast that were perfect for the roles. Michael Keaton was great in this movie and one of his best roles, he also proves in this movie that he is probably one of the Batman actors yet. Jack Nicholson gives a great performance as the Joker and always had me laughing but he is not the best Joker but is definitely one of them. Kim Basinger also proves in this movie that her looks aren't every thing and that she can act really good and gives a really good performance as Vicky Vale a photographer. Overall Batman is a great start to the Batman franchise with a great story, good action and humor, and a great cast. |

Heat 1995, R)
Heat is an amazing crime movie that star two of cinemas greatest actors and a great supporting cast along with a great story and action. Heat is about a professional criminal, Neil McCauley, and a cop, Vincent Hanna who each have their own team and are both very good at what they do. Vincent has problem with his relationship with his wife since he's always working on a case and Neil doesn't ever get into any relationship since he's so serious about what he does until he meet's a girl, Eady. Now Vincent and his crew are out to catch Neil and his gang with another set of guys out to get Neil. I've always liked crime movie like this and this is probably the best out of all of them and one of the best movies made. Michael Mann's directing is great in this movie and one of his best films that he's made. The story is really spectacular in this movie and very well done. From the electrifying start to the climactic ending this movie does not fail to entertain you and bring you a good time. This movie also has some very well done drama and some very well done action scenes including and great shootout in downtown LA. This movie also has two of the greatest actors of our time who don't fail to give great performances. Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are amazing in this movie and is a real treat to any movie lover to see these two actors in a movie together. This movie is added to both actors list of their greatest performance. Val Kilmer also gives a great performance which was really good to me since some of the stuff I've seen him in are absolutely crap. Tom Siezmore, Jon Voight, Amy Brenneman, and the rest of the supporting cast to a very good job as well. Overall Heat is an amazing heist film that I think lots of people can enjoy. |

Collateral 2004, R)
Collateral is one of the best movies ever made in my mind and one of my personal favorites with no flaws whatsoever. Collateral is about a taxi driver named Max whose been driving for 12 years but wants to start a limo business. One nigh he picks up a hitman named Vincent and now he has to drop him of at all five of his locations to kill. The cops are also on there trail and this turns into one hell of a night for both Vincent and Max. Before I saw this movie I heard great things about this movie and when I found it for a good price I finally picked it up and watched it. First off I think Michael Mann is one of the best directors out there because he can make some great movies and to me this is his best work. This movie is done so well and Michael Mann's directing is just amazing. The story for this movie is probably one of the most original and clever story I have ever seen in a movie. As this movie goes on it get's better and better. This movie also has some intense and thrilling moments and a very well done shootout at a night club. For acting this movie is just awesome and has some great performances. Tom Cruise gives probably his best performance I've seen him give so far. This is just one of the best performances I've seem from any movie and Cruise's character was just very well done. Jamie Foxx give a knockout performance as well and his performance was very realistic. One screen together these actors are just phenomenal. Overall Collateral is one of my favorite movies and to me Michael Mann's best work since Heat and a movie that I highly recommend. |

Scarface 1983, R)
Brian DePalma's Scarface is one of the best remakes ever, one of the best films ever, and definitely one of the best gangster films ever made and maybe even the best. Scarface is about Tony Montana who arrives in Florida after Castro sends a bunch of Cubans to the U.S,, most of them criminals. He soon meets Frank Lopez where he starts to do work for him and getting money but soon he starts to do things his way and starts to rise to the top. While rising to the top he makes some enemies, falls in love with his boss's wife, and has to watch his kid sister and keep her way from trouble. Since I actually saw Howard Hawk's original Scarface I can compare these two, I thought the 1932 version was great but this movie was just perfect. Sure the two have many differences but it also has many similarities, and the differences work in this movie because of Brian DePalma's directing and Oliver Stone's writing. I've always loved gangster flicks and this is one of the best gangster movies I've ever seen and one of the best movies I've ever seen. Even though the story was changed allot from Howard Hawk's version it's even better because of all things they added to make it a great story. This movie also has some very memorable scenes and quotes, including this movies great ending. One thing that works for this movie is that it has a few violent scenes that really set the tone for this movie. The acting here is also nothing but perfection. Al Pacino gives his best performance his given yet and adds to his many great roles. Al Pacino was a perfect Tony Montana and it's really hard to compare his part as Tony Montana and his role as Michael Corleone. We also get a great performance from Steven Bauer who plays Tony's best friend in the film, the beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer who plays Tony's girl, and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio who plays Tony's sister. Overall Brian DePalma's Scarface is a piece of perfection in cinema history that I highly recommend seeing. |

Scarface 1932, PG)
Howard Hawk's 1932 Scarface is a great gangster classic that sets the tone for gangster movies. Scarface is about Tony Camonte who is a small time thug who is a small time thug and is now trying to get to the top in his city. He soon starts to do jobs and is starting to rise with his power but also makes a few enemies. Before all of the gangster classics we have today there was Scarface (1932) that to me didn't seem like it got that that far considering that nor allot of people have seen it in the today world unlike The Godfather, Scarface (1983), or Goodfellas.I had my doubts about this movie because I never really seen that much movie from the 30s or 20s but I know see that there not bad movies. The story of this movie is quite good and has some pretty good twists all around the movie along with some good character chemistry. This movie also has a few scenes that stuck out to me weather it was gang violence going on or the humor some of the people had in difficult situations. This movie also has a pretty good cast for there time. Paul Muni gives a great performance as Tony Camonte and brings the character to life, probably his best performance he had in his time. Ann Dvorak gives a good performance as well and proved me wrong because at the beginning of the movie I thought I was going to hat her but I actually ended up liking her. There are also good performances by Karen Morley, George Raft, and Osgood Perkins in this film as well. Overall Scarface is a great gangster classic that I think more people should see. |

The Terminator 1984, R)
The Terminator is a amazing start to a vey memorable series and one of my 80s favorites. The Terminator starts out in the future were machines and human are fighting in a war and the robots have a plan to stop the humans, so they send a Terminator to kill Sarah Connor, who is the mother of the human leader in the future. The humans have there own plan as well and send a soldier named Kyle Reese to defend her. It's going to be a brutal fight and who ever wins can change the universe for better or worse. Growing up in this generation I've always enjoyed watching movies and the 80s was always one of my favorite time period because it had such great movies and to me this was always one of my favorites. There is so much to like about this movie weather it's the action, story, Schwarzenegger as a total bad-ass, or the memorable quotes. The Terminator really impressed me because of the time period it was made in because the visual effects were really well done in this movie for it's time and I found that really cool. This was also the start of James Cameron's and it's a great start for the guy who would later on make other stunning movies. I think the story to this movie was very well done with a very interesting subject that doesn't fail on screen. I also think it's very cool that they kind of made this movie to be set up like a horror film even though it's not scary. The action in this movie is so awesome, weather it's the chases or shootouts it was all just very entertaining. The acting in this movie was also amazing like anything else and was a great start for some people. To me this movie was the start to Schwarzenegger's career and made me think that he is one of the most bad-ass actors out now and he really shows that in this movie. Michael Biehn gives a great performance as well and one of his best performance he's given. Let's not forget Linda Hamilton gives a great performance as well but to me she really shines in the sequel. Overall The Terminator is an amazing movie and I think anyone should give it a shot depending on what your interest is. |

Terminator 2: Judgment Day 1991, R)
Terminator 2: Judgement is twice as better than the already amazing The Terminator and also one of my favorite movies, this movie is an electrifying ride from start to finish with many things to live about it. Terminator 2: Judgement Day takes place a couple of years after the first Terminator were Sarah Connor is now in a mental hospital for telling everyone about the Terminators and how the world will end in the future and her son John is now born living with his foster parents. Well now two Terminators are sent back to the past, the T-800 is here to protect John unlike the new T-1000 thats here to kill John. Now The Terminator and Sarah have to protect John and all three also have to help destroy Skynet so the war will never happen. To me the first Terminator was a classic sci-fi action movie and one of the best movies made in the 80's. I really didn't know if making a sequel would be that good of an idea but since it's James Cameron directing and writing again you can be sure it's going to be epic. Well it turns out that T2 is twice as better than the original Terminator and tops it in so many ways. This movie has a bunch of quotes and scenes that are very memorable to me in movie history. This movie is also one of my all time favorites that I never get tired of watching unlike some of my other old favorites. The story is also very well done and has no issues or no sub-plots that weren't needed. The action in this movie is also at it's best and is what made this movie one of my favorite movies and quite possibly my favorite action film. The characters and acting is also at it's best and has some of the most memorable characters to me. This time I felt Arnold Schwarzenegger was twice as better than he was in the first because I think his character was very well made and had a bigger role than last time. To me his character is one of my all-time favorite characters ever made in a movie. Linda Hamilton also step up her performance and her character was also also very well made for this movie and was made into one of the most bad-ass chicks made in movie history. Edward Furlong was great in this movie as well and one of the best kid performances in any movie I've seen. Overall Terminator 2: Judgement Day is one of the best action films and one of the best movies ever made and I highly recommend this to anyone. |

Alien 1979, R)
Alien is an amazing Sci-Fi/Horror movie that is can get very intense and also one of the best Sci-Fi films ever made. Alien is about a group of people who are returning from a mission for the people they work for but on their way to Earth, their ship's "Mother" gives them a mission to go look at a distress call on an unknown planet, or is it a warning to stay away? After they check the planet out a strange creature attaches to the face of one of the crew members, Kane. After it falls of his face another creature comes out of his chest and turns out to be a huge killing machine that bleeds acid. Now the crew must find a way home and fight for survival. Alien is known to be one of the greatest Sci-Fi films ever made and I can totally agree with that. From the time period it was made in this movie does an amazing job in everything and still manages to be one of the best films ever made. I'll admit the first time I ever saw this movie I didn't like it that much but after watching it a few years later and I learned that movies aren't all about action I watched it again and thought it was amazing from start to finish. This movie's story is pretty amazing and the start to many things in the future, including the awesome sequel, Aliens. This movie pulled me in from start to finish and never had a dull moment to me. This movie to me is also very intense and made me feel like I was on the ship when all this was taking place. Another impressive thing about this movie is that for the time it was made, the special effects were pretty damn impressive and look amazing today. This movie also has an impressive cast that gives great performances. For the first half of this movie Tom Skerritt is the lead role and gives a great performance but for the second half it's all Sigourney Weaver who gives a stunning performance and the start to her amazing career. This movie also has a great supporting cast of Veronica Catwright, Yaphet Kotto, Harry Dean, John Hurt, and Ian Holm. Overall Alien is a classic Sci-Fi film and a classic in general that is definitely worth watching. |

Aliens 1986, R)
Aliens is by far one of the greatest sequels made because this is way bigger better than the original. Aliens is once again about Ellen Ripley who is now finally rescued and realizes she's been sleeping on that emergency ship for more than half a century. Once she's back she is asked to join the Colonial Marines, a robot named Bishop, and her old companies representative, Carter Burke to go to the planet were they first found the aliens and whip all the aliens out. Once they get there they find the only survivor of the colonist who is a little girl named Newt. After the first encounter with the Aliens they realize that this isn't going to be so easy and that this time it's war. The first Alien is one of the best movies ever made and no doubt one of the best in the Sci-Fi genre and to make a sequel could go either way. Well for this movie you know your going to get something good since James Cameron is now in the directors chair and he's made some of my all-time favorites including this one. To me this me movie is by far better than the original even though the first was still amazing. For sequels that take place in the future (I mean one that take place decades or longer) could either mean good or bad and this one is neither, it's awesome. The story for this movie is awesome and the way it goes and how it they introduce the new characters, especially the Colonial Marines. This movie also steps up the visual effects now that it's been seven years since the first movie was made and the effects still look amazing today. Aliens also has some awesome action scenes and some of the best that I have ever seen. With Sigourney Weaver back to the series she brings a whole bunch of supporting actors that do a fantastic job. In this movie Sigourney Weaver quite possibly gives her best performance ever and her character is made so well and also made her one of the most bad-ass chicks to be in a movie. After watching more movies I realized that not all kid actors are bad and Carrie Henn proves that in this movie and gives a stunning performance. This movie also introduces one of my favorite groups of characters and that is the Colonial Marines. Michael Biehn, Jenette Goldstein, and Bill Paxton all give stunning performance in this movie as three of my favorite movie characters ever. Also great performances by Lance Henriksen, Paul Reiser, and William Hope. Overall Aliens is a flawless masterpiece and one of cinemas greatest. |

District 9 2009, R)
Neill Blomkamp's District 9 in my mind is a spectacular alien movie that just blew my mind. District 9 is about aliens who came to Earth 28 years ago but the government keeps them here because of one thing and that's weaponry that only alien DNA can use. Soon Wilkus van der Merwe a field operative for MNU get's exposed to biotechnology that starts to turn him into one of the aliens. He soon becomes the most wanted man on the planet and soon comes to help the aliens get back to their planet so they can get him back to being human. First of I want to say this was a really well made movie because it's not like any other movie with the camera. For a while it was like a documentary and the cameras was on him and it just made it look so real. This is also way different than any other alien movies because usually we try to exterminate them and not keep them here for 28 years. There are also some pretty gory scenes as he turns into an alien and in some pretty intense action scenes. It's also spectacular because they took a whole bunch of random people who can act and make this an Oscar contender. Sharlto Copley is just an amazing actor that give a great performance that is just wonderful that I think allot of people think when they saw this movie and people who plan on seeing this will think to. Also when it comes to action this movie is perfect for the last 45 minutes if all you wan't great action that would keep you entertained. If you wan't to see a great action packed sci-fi movie with an amazing story and cast District 9 is by far the movie for you. |

Inception 2010, PG-13)
Inception was the biggest surprise to me ever of all the movies I have seen in my life. At first I really didn't want to see it but when it came out I was like what the hell I'm bored. When I walked out I realized that Christopher Nolan has shown me one of the greatest films of all time. Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors of all time making two of the best movies ever, The Dark Knight and Inception. The whole idea of this movie was just crazy but Nolan actually pulled it of. Like Nolan proved in The Dark Knight he has great casting for Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and everyone else. DiCaprio gives one of the best performances of his life because I cant say the best because I still haven't seen Shutter Island or The Departed. Inception is just a amazing movie that is a must see for any type of movie fan. |

The Godfather 1972, R)
The Godfather is no doubt one of the greatest movies ever and has a great story with a excellent cast. The Godfather is about the Corleone family who have an organized crime group with their leader "The Godfather" or "Don". Michael Corleone returns home after he becomes a war hero from WWII and goes to his sister's wedding. A few months later his Don Vito Corleone (AKA The Godfather) is hot many times after he refused to give them political connection. After that happens Michael soon goes on to be in the family business with his brothers and his father, soon many events go on were Michael and his family have to take on. This is known to be one of the best movies ever made and possibly the best movie ever made and it's true. Francis Ford Coppola brings this novel by Mario Puzo to the big screen and turns it into a masterpiece. This is such a strong movie because you get so caught up with the Corleone family and whats going and soon thats all you can think about. I've always loved crime movies and gangster movies and this is among one of the greatest ever made and one of the most memorable. This movie has many memorable scenes and quotes that shall be remembered throughout time. This movie also has some of the best acting in film history. Marlon Brando gives a knockout performance as Don Vito Corleone and Al Pacino gives one of his greatest performances as he's just starting of his career as an actor. There are also great performances by James Caan, Robert Duvall, John Cazale, and everyone else in this film. The Godfather is one of the greatest films ever made with no flaws and if you haven't seen it yet what are you doing reading this, get your butt up and go watch it. |

The Godfather, Part II 1974, R)
The Godfather Part II is a spectacular sequel to one of the greatest films in history and definitely lives up to the original. The Godfather Part II has two very good stories. First is about Vito Corleone who escapes to America after his family is killed and it now shows his rise to power and wants revenge for his family. The second story is back to Michael Corleone as The Godfather were he is trying to expand his business. But he's starting to fall apart when his allies are trying to kill him, his marriage is falling apart with Kay, and his brother Fredo is starting to betray him. The Godfather Part II is a terrific example for a sequel that lives up to the first and maybe of an example of one thats better than the first. I really cant decide which movie is better because there such great movies. There are quite a few movies were they can live up to the first but in my opinion this isn't the best, but don't get me wrong this is still one of the best movies ever. What makes this movie so great is that once again this movie has a great story and shows how the Corleone family got to were it is now. This movie also has some awesome scenes that are pretty memorable like Vito using a towel to cover his gun and then shooting his enemy. This movie also has another terrific cast that brings amazing performances. Al Pacino once again gives an outstanding performance as Michael Corleone and Robert De Niro gives a great performance as Vito Corleone who was once played by Marlon Brando who gave a outstanding performance in the first movie. Vito is such a great character since he's played by to great actors. Overall Francis Ford Coppola brings an outstanding sequel and probably one of the best movies ever. |

The Godfather, Part III 1990, R)
The Godfather, Part III is another amazing piece of work by Francis Ford Coppola but not a great as the first two. After seeing the first two I thought they were fantastic movies and I heard from lots of people that the third one took it down a notch but I still found this movie quite amazing. This isn't as good as the other two but if you enjoyed the first two you will enjoy this movie as well but you will be a bit disappointed. The story in this movie is still great and one thing that made this movie great is that they introduced Sonny's son, Vincent, which I thought was really good. This movie doesn't have as many memorable scenes as they had in the first two but they still had some pretty awesome scenes. The drama for this movie was still very well done like all of The Godfathers have before this movie. The acting in this movie is still great in this movie as well. Al Pacino gives another great performance as Michael Corleone but I thought he was better when he was younger for this role. Diane Keaton gives another great performance as Kay and Talia Shire gives her best performance out all three of The Godfather movies she was in as Michael's sister Connie. The huge breakout actor to me in this movie was Andy Garcia who plays Vincent and is now one of my favorite characters in the Godfather series. Sofia Coppola gives an amazing performance in this movie as well as Michael's daughter and was very good at this role. Overall The Godfather, Part III is yet another amazing piece of filmography but not as classic as the first two. |

Pulp Fiction 1994, R)
After Quentin Tarantino's success with Reservoir Dogs he would go on to make one of cinemas greatest films of all time, Pulp Fiction. Pulp Fiction is a magnificent film that is very clever and has an all-star cast. Pulp Fiction has three different stories, Vincent Vega and Marsellus Wallace's Wife, The Gold Watch, and The Bonnie Situation. Vincent Vega and Marsellus Wallace's wife is about hitman Vincent Vega (who has just returned from Amsterdam) who has to take his bosses wife out for a good time while he is on a business trip. They end up having a good night but soon it turns for worse. The Gold Watch is about boxer Butch Coolidge who broke a deal that he and Marsellus Wallace made and is now trying to get out of the state but his girlfriend left his family watch at their old apartment which is dangerous since Mr. Wallace has men out looking for Butch, but that's not the only thing he should worry about in this story. The Bonnie Situation is about Vincent again and his partner Jules after they killed someone on accident and now they have to clean the car at Jules's friends house before she comes home. This movie also has a prologue and an epilogue. Reservoir Dogs was magnificent and Quentin Tarantino become a great director and you knew he would have a great future. After the success of Reservoir Dogs he would go on to make Pulp Fiction which turned out to be one of the greatest movies of all time. This movie is just brilliant and one of my favorite movies. This is movie is just so original and that's what makes this movie so good. Of course the story to this movie is original because nothing like it has ever happened before this. I thought the story to this movie was terrific because of it's originality and because every story in this movie was just so fun to watch. Another thing that made this story so good is the dialogue. The dialogue in this movie was just great just like it was in Reservoir Dogs and just really clever. Everything about this movie's story was just amazing. This movie can get really dark and gritty at times but this movie can also be pretty funny at times as well. This movie also has an all-star cast and everyone in this movie gives a magnificent performance. John Travolta was magnificent in this movie and probably his best performance he's ever given. Samuel L. Jackson also gives a magnificent performance and every time he and Travolta were on screen was just great because these two were perfect and their dialogue together was just great. Same with Travolta and Uma Thurman (who gives a great performance), when they were on screen it was just amazing. This movie also has magnificent performances by Harvey Keitel, Bruce Willis, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, and Ving Rhames. Overall Pulp Fiction is a classic and one of cinema's greatest and one of my favorites. |

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers 1988, R)
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers is a great movie to add to the Halloween series. Usually in horror movie they get worse as they go but Halloween only seems to have Halloween 3, but it was still decent. This time Michael has come back to kill his niece on Halloween night and kill anyone in his way like always. Only Donald Pleasence is back from the original and he's still good but it would have been a bit better with Jamie Lee Curtis. Halloween 4 is proved to me that the Halloween series still had it. |

Point Break 1991, R)
Point Break is a good action film that has some great action but has some flaws as well. Point Break is about FBI agent Johnny Utah who is a rookie and is sent to Las Angeles to the bank robberies division. Once he gets there he learns about " The Ex-Presidents" who are some of the best robbers out there and now he wants to catch them. The only thing he really knows about them is that their surfers so now Johnny has to learn how to surf so he can find these criminals. Once he hits the waves he meets a girl named Tyler and a pure adrenaline junkie, Bodhi. Could they be his men or are they someone else? Point Break is a perfect movie for guys. You got shootouts, football, bank robberies, fights, and of course surfing. As good as all that sounds it's not a perfect movie. It's still a very enjoyable film but not perfect. Story wise for this movie it isn't the best. The story itself isn't that bad in fact it's actually pretty good but the way they tell it sometimes is just a little stupid. Some scenes weren't all that good and the movie could also be a little bit predictable. To make up for that this movie has some very entertaining action scenes. This movie has some exciting shootouts and some entertaining scenes weather it's everybody surfing or them playing football, it's very good entertainment. The movie also has some pretty good performances from the actors in this film as well. Keanu Reeves gives a pretty decent performance because at times he could be good but at other times he just seemed not as good as he could have been. The best performance in this movie is definitely Patrick Swayze, every scene he's in is just great because his performance was just great in this movie. The supporting cast in this movie is also good with good performances by Lori Petty and Gary Busey. Overall Point Break is a really good movie to watch if your hanging out with a bunch of people or a movie to watch if you want some good entertainment. |

Reservoir Dogs 1992, R)
Reservoir Dogs is a stunning film that would soon make Quentin Tarantino one of the most well know directors and would go on to make many more fantastic films. Reservoir Dogs is about a bunch of random guys who are put together to pull of a diamond heist. What seems like a easy heist soon turns in to a bloody mess when the cops basically show up immediately and now they're suppose to go back to the rendezvous point. The remaining robbers find out they have an undercover cop in there gang and they need to find out who it is. The one thing that makes this story unique is that it never shows the heist, only what happened before and after the heist. The first time I saw this movie I really had no idea what it was about and after I saw it thought was great, after more viewings I thought it was fantastic. Reservoir Dogs is one of those movies were it just seems to get better every time you watch it. This movie would soon make Quentin Tarantino into a star and make him into one of the best directors and would go on to make more movies that would just be amazing. One thing that makes this movie so good is the story. To me I just thought the story was phenomenal and went together so perfect. It doesn't bother me one bit that they didn't show the diamond heist because it made the movie a lot cooler. This film has grabs you in from the start were everyone is just having a conversation at a restaurant (a lot cooler than it sounds) to the bloody finale. It also does a fantastic job at introducing the main characters and showing there background and what their like. Another thing that I really liked about this movie is the dialogue. The dialogue to this movie is just so clever and funny at times. This movie even does a great job with having a bunch of different genres. This movie can be really funny at times, it could be really dark at times, and really intense at times to. This movie also has a fantastic cast that give amazing performances and some cool characters. All the characters in this movie were just so cool and were played very well by the actors in this movie. Harvey Keitel was just electrifying in this movie and every time he's on screen he's just amazing. Tom Roth is also amazing in this film and his character actually ended up being my favorite. Michael Madsen is great in this because the way he plays his character is just great because his character is just one of the most creepy guys I've seen in a movie. Last but certainly not least for the lead roles is Steve Buscemi. He is just as good as the rest in this movie. This movie also has a great supporting cast with Chris Penn, Kirk Baltz, and Lawrence Tierney. Even the director himself has a moment to shine in this movie with some pretty funny dialogue. Overall Reservoir Dogs is a must seen for any movie fan because it is just a stunning movie that keeps your attention for the whole 100 minutes. |

GoodFellas 1990, R)
GoodFellas is definitely one of the greatest films ever made and cinema at it's finest. GoodFellas is about the true story of Henry Hill. Henry has always been involved with gangs ever since he was a kid. When he was a kid he would run errands for a Mob boss named Paul Cicero and as when he grows up he becomes a gangster. He works with his mentor James Conway and his partner Tommy DeVito. This movie goes through the many phases of Henry's life and turns out to be one hell of a life for him. At the beginning of this movie Henry says "As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster". I thought that was an amazing quote because I always wanted to be a gangster to and I've always had a love for things involving gangsters. Gangster movie have always been one of my favorite types of movies and this is one of the best ever made. This isn't only one of the best gangster films it's also one of the greatest films ever made in my mind. Martin Scorsese brings us the true story of Henry Hill and turns it into a masterpiece and one of his best. Scorsese has made many movies that are great and hopefully he will bring us more in the future but I think this will be best. The story to this movie was very good and they way it unfolds is very good. One thing about this movie that I really liked is that this movie does a really good job showing how these characters changed over time. One thing that I found very interesting and cool about this movie is that in the first part of the movie it kind of shows them enjoying life but then later on it's turns really dark and violent and shows that there life wasn't as easy as it seemed. When this movie starts to get dark it is done very well. The characters in this movie are really cool in this movie and very likable and the actors in this movie are perfect for the roles. Ray Liotta gives a stunning performance as Henry Hill. I thought he did a magnificent job and they way his character changed over time was just amazing and he did a perfect job as Henry Hill. Robert De Niro also gives a great performance in this movie and you will also be very interested with his character. To me one of the most likable characters is Joe Pesci who is amazing in this movie and is really funny. Lorraine Bracco and Paul Sorvino are also great in this film as well. GoodFells is a stunning movie that has an amazing story and a stunning performance by Ray Liotta and his amazing supporting cast. |

Black Hawk Down 2001, R)
Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down is the greatest war movie of all time in my mind. The action and the special effects are just amazing. Most movies that are based on real life real life never become amazing to me but this was just fantastic. This movie was a non stop guns blazing move. After Special Forces going into a African city the soon get attacked and trapped in side the city with Black Hawks getting shot out of the sky. This movie is very brutal and bloody so if you don't like non stop bloody action this movie isn't for you. |

Saving Private Ryan 1998, R)
Saving Private Ryan is the best WWII movie of all rime and one of the greatest war movies of all time. This is Steven Spielberg's greatest masterpiece with an amazing cast like Tom Hanks, Edward Burns, Vin Diesel, and everyone else. This movie show's what war was like with all that bravery. The ending is really sad and I almost cried. In the time he was in it Matt Damon did a great job. The story was great, a squad of soldiers get sent out to find Pvt. Ryan after all his brothers have been killed so they have to pull him out of war. Saving Private Ryan will always be remembered as one of the greatest war movie of all time |

Kill Bill: Volume 1 2003, R)
Kill Bill: Volume 1 is another magnificent film by writer/director Quentin Tarantino that never has a dull moment. Kill is about a girl who is only known as The Bride who comes out of a four year coma and the only survivor at her wedding after a group known as the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad attempted to kill her led by a man named Bill. Now that she has woken up she has made a list of the five people that were involved with the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. Now The Bride is on the loose and only has one thing on her mind, revenge. Quentin Tarantino never fails to make a good movie and has made some classics that I will always remember, Kill Bill: Volume 1 is one of those movies. What makes Tarantino's movies so good is that he always has a great story to tell, fantastic dialogue, an amazing soundtrack, and in this movie, some awesome action. This is not Tarantino's best movie but is sure is one the best movies I've ever seen because Tarantino is by far one of the best directors and has made many of my favorites. In Pulp Fiction the movie had three stories that had a prologue and an epilogue and Reservoir Dogs showed what happened before and after the heist but never the actual heist and that's what made the stories so good in those movies and Kill Bill has it's own story that is very unique and cool. The thing that I really liked about this movies story is that it was in chapters and I thought that was very cool. As for the story it's self it is just absolutely amazing and very well done just like any other Tarantino movie. Another thing that I really like in this movie was there was a scene in this movie were The Bride was introducing one of the characters, O-Ren Ishii, and it showed O-Ren Ishii's past in animation. The script to this movie is also fantastic just like any other Tarantino movie is. One of the best parts about this movie is that this movie has some magnificent action. The action in this movie is very violent but very cool and entertaining. This movie has an awesome cast in this movie the doesn't fail to impress. Uma Thurman was great for her part in Pulp Fiction but now she's the star and she is absolutely amazing in this movie. Her performance in this movie is by far one of the best performances she has ever given and is by far one of my favorite female bad asses in movie history. There are also great performances by Lucy Lui and Vivica A. Fox who play The Bride's two targets/enemies in this movie. Overall KIll Bill: Volume 1 is a magnificent movie that all Tarantino fans should see along with action movie fans. |

Kill Bill, Volume 2 2004, R)
Kill Bill, Volume 2 is another magnificent film just like the first volume and another masterpiece by writer/director Quentin Tarantino. Kill Bill, Volume 2 picks of right were the first one ended and the character, The Bride, is out to kill the remaindering people of her kill list. The remaining people on her list are Budd, Elle, and Bill. In this movie you also get to learn more about The Bride's past and how she became so deadly. You also get to see her relationship with Bill and why he tried to kill her. At this point The Bride will do anything to get to Bill but also gets a few surprises along the way. What's not to like about Kill Bill, Volume 2? I mean the first one was fantastic and it's directed by Quentin Tarantino so you know your going to get something good, but this movie isn't good, it's fantastic. This movie is just magnificent from start to finish and just as good as the first movie and maybe a bit better. What makes this movie so good is that it has a fantastic story. Most revenge stories are all the same but what makes the Kill Bill movies so good is that the story is so in depth. The thing that made this movie's story what it is, is that it shows The Bride's past and Tarantino did it so well. This whole story is just amazing and never get's boring. Once again this movie is magnificently written and directed by the legendary Quentin Tarantino. The first Kill Bill had a lot of action but in this movie you don't have as much but it didn't matter to me because of the amazing story. However when this movie does have action it's very good and well done. One of the best things about this whole movie is that it has an outstanding cast. Uma Thurman returns and she gives another magnificent performance. Her performance is so strong in this movie and she's so believable and that's what make her so good in these movies. In Kill Bill: Volume 1 you only hear Bill's voice but in this movie you get to see him and what type of character he is and boy is he a great character. Bill is played magnificently by Davie Carradine. Carradine's performance is amazing in this movie and he just added some spooky-ness to Bill. This movie also has a great supporting cast of Michael Madsen and Elle Driver who bother captured their roles. Michael Madsen was great as the slacker with all the bad luck and Elle Driver was magnificent as the twisted, freak chick in this movie. Overall Kill Bill, Volume 2 is another magnificent movie and is a must see for anyone who enjoyed the first or anyone who enjoys Tarantino's work. |
