War of The Worlds meets LOST meets District 9. But with a twist making it all look even worse. Simply not good. And the best line of the entire movie is: "Drugs are so bad!". That might mean something. Oh, and the short filme in the final credits is better than the movie itself. |

First of all, I have to say that the first lines of the movie touched me, as they are completely accurate. They made me see myself in there, because I also live in a so-called "paradise". All in all, it's a good movie. But, Academy Awards? Really? Don't get me wrong, it's a good script, good cast, good characters, good directing, good everything. And that's the problem for me. I don't see it as great or spectacular. It's just... good. Just my opinion. |

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 2011, R)
Very good. The rape scene gave me chills and made me want to leave the room - which means it was disgustingly shocking and very well-made. I had no expectations and was blown away by the characters, specially Lisbeth, so amazingly played by Rooney Mara. |

Bold, brave and pleasantly delightful, this is what we can surely call a master piece. It prooves that you don't need CGI or mind-blowing visual effects to make it huge. And it blows our minds anyways. If The Artist and Jean Dujardin don't take the Oscars home, than the Academy must be really sick of real talent. And kudos for the dog! So cute! |

I love this old movies. They proof once and for all that there's no need of thousands of scenaries to make an amazing film with an exciting pace. It's all about a good script, a creative direction and the right casting. |
