Weather Girl 2008, R)
I really didn't expect a lot from this film so it was better than I thought it would be. Weather girl falls for cheesy newscaster, he is sleeping with co-worker thus resulting in a live broadcast of weather girl's confrontation with cheesy newscaster. Mark Harmon (the newscaster Dale) was scary looking! I loved the relationship between Sylvia (weather girl) and her brother (Walt) whom she ends up sharing his tiny apartment. I also really liked Patrick J. Adams (will have to look him up) as the brother's best friend and Sylvia's rebound guy. There were several funny parts in the first half. It got a little cornier towards the end but overall it was an okay movie. |
