Movies that deal with romantic interracial relationships. Meaning that interracial romances are a large contribution to the plot of the movies on this list, but the movie may or may not be completely about an interracial romance. Note: this is not a 'favorites' list, so I may or may not like all of these movies.

Something New
This was such a sweet movie. It reminds me of my boyfriend and I . Interracial dating can be difficult and even scary at times. But if you truly love the person it's worth it.

I actually like this movie a lot. When I see a good dance movie these days, I tend to relate it back to this one.

A Bronx Tale
Kudos to Robert De Niro on his directorial debut. This was a wonderful film, not in its content, but in the lessons it teaches and the brilliant actors that were featured. This movie is complex and will keep you on the edge of your seat right to the very end. Well worth seeing.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner 1967,  Unrated)
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
I've heard about this film for years, but It was not until recently that I got the chance to see it. This movie was and still is very relevant for the times we live in. I must also add that Sidney Poitier's acting is legendary, every time I watch one of his movies I cannot help but think: "this is acting." With that being said, this film is well worth seeing.
5

The Courage to Love
The story of one brave woman who dared to sacrifice everything for what she believed in.
6
Sally Hemings: An American Scandal 2000,  Unrated)
Sally Hemings: An American Scandal
A great historical film about the slave-master relationship between President Jefferson and Sally Hemmings. This film has some of the most believable acting I have ever seen. It is emotional, poignant and ever bittersweet.
7
Mr and Mrs Loving 1996,  PG-13)
Mr and Mrs Loving
I found out about this supreme court case, and I thought it was so romantic that they fought for their love on a social, and legal level. Timothy Hutton and Lela Rochon portrayed the Lovings beautifully, they were very believable and really brought the story to life. Definitely worth seeing.
8
Our Family Wedding 2010,  PG-13)
Our Family Wedding
A modern take on the classic film "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" with a comedic twist. Very cool.

Unfinished Sky
A beautiful and intriguing film that proves to be quite powerful in it's simplicity.
10
Love Song 2000,  PG)
Love Song
This is such a cute movie, I love how real Monica came off as, instead of like a rich Black girl. It was a bit cheesy and the very predictable. But overall I really liked it.
11
Crazy/ Beautiful 2001,  PG-13)
Crazy/ Beautiful
I've seen this movie a couple of times and I like it even though at times it was a bit graphic and over the top. Nonetheless Kirsten Dunst was very good portrayed her character beautifully. As for Jay, he was the perfect sweetheart.
12
Fools Rush In 1997,  PG-13)
Fools Rush In
This is such a cool little film to watch on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I loved Isabel's colorful personality mixed with Alex's straight-laced life. They clashed and yet they were so perfect for each other. It was also good to see a different kind of interracial couple for once, other than black and white.
13
Foreign Student 1994,  R)
Foreign Student
A wonderful movie that was about so many things, but mainly the cross you have to bear when involved in forbidden love. Le Clerc and Givens were wonderful together. Worth seeing.
