I actually loved this!A friendship between socially demented compulsive eater and a lonely 8-year old girl is not the one that would usually work out,but it does and it's amazing.The portrait of the characters is funny and original making them interesting and more fun than they would probably be in real life.I loved the script is the best script ever used in a animation before,when i think about it i think it is the best animation i have ever seen.I had a smile on my face trough out the whole movie,that never happened to me before,it was delightful.It is a story about the outcast and the misfits, those are the stories i love the most .Pixar's overrated little movies can suck it because this my friends is a masterpiece!

I love satire in general and i loved this one.It is sharp funny and meaningful.i think it combines everything that really sucks in the world today,at least most parts of it,and presents it in a most amusing way that is not extremely exaggerated like todays so called "parodies'. Definitely a movie on its own!

The movie was made in 1986 unable to make the Oscar nominations for one or another reason but highly considered, and it started the rise of Macedonian cinematography.This film was produced at the time of a serious organizational and technical crisis, which had for years existed in Macedonian feature film production.
The action of the film takes place in June 1948. A group of Yugoslav students sent in USSR to be educated are coming back after the conflict between the two countries. Among the others who decide to return are Dragoslav, his girl friend Vera and his close friend Gradimir. Gradimir can hardly bear to leave the USSR, so that he suffers his own internal conflicts, which culminate in his suicide committed at Subotica railway station. Immediately an investigation is conducted on the occasion of Gradimir's suicide and so Dragoslav as his friend and travelling companion has to give an explanation of the motives for his suicide.
Stale Popov made an original masterpiece with complex attitude towards the humanistic standings of people established and conditioned by their historical circumstances and also captured by their ideological framework. Amazing cast from all around the Balkans and Meto Jovanoski, sir you are a living legend!

A genuine and unique piece of art.
Mainly a drama movie about the the existence and the relations of this world and the world that follows. Manchevski created a different character who is struggling to make things wright using gripping images unlike his previous two movies.The movie in its self is captivating and an amazing experience which is not easy to forget. I know i won't especially the performance of that old laddie(i mean really old) which brought the entire spookiness into the movie (Where the hell did they found her?)
