Wayne's World 1992,  PG-13)
Wayne's World
Very Funny. A classic SNL skit turned into a movie. The two main characters Wayne and Garth made a good transition from a SNL skit to the big screen. The movie has great jokes and gags. Plus tons of cameos in the film. I always get a great laugh wathcing this film. A great comedy.

So I Married an Axe Murderer 1993,  PG-13)
So I Married an Axe Murderer
A solid comedy. About a man who marries a butcher and suspects after that she kills her husbands. Mike Myers gives us a decent comedy performance. The funniest scenes are when Mike Myers plays the Scottish grandfather. A odd but fun comedy at times. Worth checking out if your a fan of Mike Myers other films.

Wayne's World 2 1993,  PG-13)
Wayne's World 2
This is a very funny movie. A great sequel. Just as funny as the first film. So many great cameos in this film. Mike Myers and Dana Carvey are both funny still as Wayne and Garth. A funny silly story that always makes me laugh. A classic comedy.

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery 1997,  PG-13)
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
Very Funny! Yeah Baby! A great spoof on the old Bond movies. Mike Myers is very funny in his roles as Austin Powers and Dr.Evil. And the film has a great cast in this. I always get a good laugh watching this film. A must see comedy.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
Austin Powers is back in this great sequel. Just as funny as the original. Great to see some characters back as Dr.Evil, Scotty Evil, etc. Plus some great additions like Mini Me and Fat Bastard. The series makes the best spoofs on James Bond films. I always get a good laugh watching this. A great comedy.

Mystery, Alaska 1999,  R)
Mystery, Alaska
This is a movie about a small town in Alaska that gets to have their local team play the NHL New York Rangers at pond hockey. That is just the main part of the story. You also get all these characters in the small town and their inter connecting stories. Stars Russell Crowe. Plus the film has a great supporting cast. Overall the movie is solid and the characters interesting. Basically a film about a town getting together to show support and about the underdogs. Worth a watch if you like sport related movies.

Shrek 2001,  PG)
Shrek
This is a great animation film. The best of all the Shrek movies. All the characters from Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona, Lord Farquad, Gingerbreadman, etc. are all great. I laugh everytime I watch this film. Great humour for kids and adults. Takes elements of tons of fairy tales and makes them new and fresh. A fun story with a great ending. One of the best animation films to watch. A great film for all.

Austin Powers in Goldmember 2002,  PG-13)
Austin Powers in Goldmember
Very Funny! A great homage to the James Bond films.Mike Myers is excellent again as Austin Powers and Dr.Evil. I liked the cameo's in the film. I loved Michael Caine's line as Austin's father to Dr.Evil. There are two things I hate in this world. People ignorant of other peoples cultures and the Dutch. I always laugh at that quote. Tons of cameos in this film. Even though this is the thrid film in the series they still continue to make me laugh. A great comedy.

Shrek 4-D (Shrek 3-D) 2003,  Unrated)
Shrek 4-D (Shrek 3-D)
This is a animated short for Shrek fans. The film I watched was in 3D. This film is not very long. But you get what you expect. A quick adventure for Shrek, Donkey and Fiona. The story is quite weak compared to the full length movies. Plus the 3D is okay and not great. But there are a couple of good laughs in this. A solid film for the kids and family to enjoy together.

Nobody Knows Anything 2003,  R)

Dr. Seuss - The Cat in the Hat 2003,  PG)
Dr. Seuss - The Cat in the Hat
When I first watched this film I thought it was okay. Funny in parts. I loved the book as a child but found this film odd. After watching it a few more times I can say that I enjoy it more now. You get to pick up on more of the jokes the second time around. And Mike Myers is actually the perfect choice to play the Cat in the Hat. I can see why they went with the story they did for the film. It is hard to take one medium and transfer it to another and make it work. Overall I found this to be a fun film with great characters. Alec Baldwin was great as the dead beat boyfriend trying to move his way into the family. A good film with plenty of laughs. Great for kids and the family.

Shrek 2 2004,  PG)
Shrek 2
A great sequel. Very funny. Just as funny as the first movie. The jokes and humour are great for kids and adults. A great story that continues from the first film. Great characters are added to the film such as Prince Chraming and Puss N Boots. Overall a great film for all.
17
Shrek the Third 2007,  PG)
Shrek the Third
This is a good third instalment in the Shrek series. We get all of the regular cast back. Plus a Justin Timberlake doing the voice of Arthur. The films animation is still great and the films cast of characters are well done and funny. The film still has loads of humour for adults and kids. I still prefer the original film as the best of the Shrek series. But this film is still a fun watch. A good family movie. If you liked the other films then you should enjoy this as well.

Shrek the Halls 2007,  G)
Shrek the Halls
If your a fan of the Shrek movies then you will like the Christmas special. Brings the same animation and voice talent for this as the films. Just as funny as the movies. Could very well become a regular to watch every Christmas.

The Love Guru 2008,  PG-13)

Inglourious Basterds 2009,  R)
Inglourious Basterds
Director Quentin Tarantino brings to life a WWII war and revenge film. The film has Brad Pitt's character Lt. Raine and his soldiers called the Basterds killing German soldiers in Nazi occupied France. They have a plot by half of the film to kill Hitler and high ranking Nazi officers in a small movie theatre. There is also a revenge plot from a Jewish woman who owns the theatre to burn the Nazi's to death in the building. This plus many other small interactions make up the story. The film was what I expected mostly from reviews and friends telling me about it. I sort of expected a little bit more from the story but overall it worked. I really enjoyed the performances from Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz as Col.Hans. The character Col. Hans is a great villain in the film. The movie is full of long scenes dragged out by Tarantino but it works for the most part. Some scenes could have been shorten. The violence was not as gory as I thought it would have been. Sure the death scenes are over the top but not as crazy as some films show. Overall if your a Tarantino fan then check this out. If you enjoy WWII films then check this out. If your not a fan of either then you may want to skip. But I enjoyed it. Worth a one time watch.

Shrek Forever After (Shrek 4) 2010,  PG)
Shrek Forever After (Shrek 4)
A great fourth installment in the Shrek movie series. This story is about Shrek making a deal with Rumpelstiltskin to get one day being a regular ogre. But of course the deal is not what it seems and Sherk is thrown in the past with everything changed. This was a fun film. Some very funny scenes through out the film. Many jokes and gags put in for adults and kids to enjoy. Plus the movie has a great story. Great to see all the classic characters from the Shrek series in this. Plus nice to have a villain like Rumpelstiltskin instead of another Prince Charming again for the film. If you enjoyed the other Shrek movies then you should enjoy this as well. Well worth a watch.
