There's very little you can take away from this other than all the everday people you know no matter who they are, have some sick disturbing secret thing they're into. Its a good watch once....maybe twice.

64	Neo Ned 2005, Unrated) I really loved this movie even though it felt very chick flicky at times. The story itself is probably one of the most unique and chaotic I've ever seen and somehow it works. Ned Played by Oscar winning Jeremy Renner is a neo nazi who isn't really racist but feels like he has a sense of family with his brotherhood. Coming from a broken home Ned's distorted view of family leads him to be involved in a hate crime where a black man was killed by two other guys while Ned was there. Instead of going to jail he gets put into a mental hospital where he meets Rachael, a gorgeously insane black woman who thinks she is hitler. Despite Ned's Nazi views he starts to really fall for Rachael's good looks and her smart ass personality, her hitler routine is just that...a routine. Rachael is a woman who just couldn't handle the pressures of life so she came up with a fake problem just to get put away where she tries to figure out what to do. One thing leads to another and they end up escaping together and thats when the real drama happens. This is just one amazing movie that got buried in with the rest of the direct to video low budget romantic dramas, and its shame. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes weird, offbeat, romantic, drama's with some dark comedy thrown in.

130	Driftwood 1997, Unrated) This was a pretty decent, low key, slow paced romantic drama starring James Spader and Anne Brochet. Spader does a pretty good job as the shipwrecked, drifter who is found ashore by this lonely woman (Anne Brochet)who lives by herself somewhere on the Irish coast. She then takes care of him and dresses his wounds, and nurses him back to health. He soon discovers that she is totally isolated on the island with only monthly visits by the supply delivery man,she also is borderline insane because she has conversations with her dead mother and Spader overhears her talking to someone every now and then. That subplot never really pans out or does anything interesting.The movie kinda just meanders a bit where Spader and Brochet have this awkward romance that you kinda just don't really care about that much,then he wants to leave the island at one point and she wants to force him to stay because she has no one else to keep her company,except talking to her ghost mom. I gave this 3 stars because of the beautiful Irish coast and country side where the film takes place, james Spaders acting is solid as always. Pretty much only fans of James Spader will get anything out of this for the most part. Not totally terrible but nothing super great either as far as romantic dramas go.

159	Closet Land 1990, R) A very disturbing movie that is not graphic but more disturbing in the idea's it presents. The subjects that get talked about in this such as child abuse,sexual and physical really hit you deep down. The character Madeleine Stowe Is an author of childrens books who puts her pain and trauma into her stories. Alan Rickman plays an interrogator who plays mind games with her when shes taken into custody for her perceived anti government stories in her books. The whole movie turns into a mind game between Rickman and Stowe and in the end it kinda leaves you not sure what to think. I'm assuming this was a play because of the focus on only two characters, so if that isn't your thing then move along. If you are into stage play type movies then this could be something you're into.It is a powerful movie that you should at least watch once because it takes you to a dark dark place and makes you think about why certain people do the things they do and what leads them to become who they are.
