The Basketball Diaries 1995,  R)
The Basketball Diaries
As my favourite movie of all time, I feel like I should say something that really encapsulates why I feel so stongly about the film. But, annoyingly, I seem unable to. The life style these boys lead is so far removed from my own life that I am fascinated and shocked, repelled yet attracted. The acting is extremely real and moving, without being cliched or corny. If it were made today, it may have been terrible.

Titanic 1997,  PG-13)
Titanic
While some argue that it went for too long, and others say the love story spoiled a potentially good action flick, I will argue that it was one of the best films of the 90s and collected massive amounts of awards. On account of this, and my own personal love of the movie, the film gets five stars.
3
Romeo + Juliet 1996,  PG-13)
Romeo + Juliet
This modern version of the story is really good, with the connection between Romeo and Juliet really powerful to watch. Does it matter that I am a Leo fan either?
4
The Man in the Iron Mask 1998,  PG-13)
The Man in the Iron Mask
I love King Louis XIV and everything about him. This movie is no exception, with an awesome actor (DiCaprio) playing the King and his twin. The comraderie shared amongst the main musketeers is awesome.
5
Marvin's Room 1996,  PG-13)
Marvin's Room
Inspiring. A good exploration of family relationships, especially between mother and son. The main point of the film is that family is important. Watch this if you like movies with a gentle nature that inspires you to cherish those you love.

This Boy's Life 1993,  R)
This Boy's Life
This movie is very strong, with interesting relationships btween characters.
7
Catch Me If You Can 2002,  PG-13)
Catch Me If You Can
I'm a Leonardo-officienado... good movie what can i say. Di-Caprio is good in this cat and mouse movie that makes you feel satisfied. My fave part is when he gives a kid at school the kind of tip that every kid dreams of - preiceless.
8
The Aviator 2004,  PG-13)
The Aviator
Fly me to the Moon Leo...
9
The Beach 2000,  R)
The Beach
Cool movie, with a cool soundtrack. The beauty of the beach is no where near perfect, depsite what those who live there wish to believe, and this is what appeals about the film becauase it reminds you that not everything can be perfect, not even awesome tropical beaches.
10
What's Eating Gilbert Grape 1993,  PG-13)
What's Eating Gilbert Grape
Only saw about ten minutes of it
11
The Quick and the Dead 1995,  R)
The Quick and the Dead
Have to see it only because Leo is in it.
12
Total Eclipse 1995,  R)
Total Eclipse
Apart from a few scenes, this movie was an eye opener for me, the 14 year old girl who watched it during the "leo obsession' days. I must say though that I think I enjoyed the film becauase it made me realise a few aspects of life that I had been naive to at that age.
13
Blood Diamond 2006,  R)
Blood Diamond
This was a good movie because it was quite original in its storyline and was interesting. DiCaprio was good, although his accent was a bit inconsistent at times. The action scenes were good.
14
The Departed 2006,  R)
The Departed
This film was good. It had interesting twists in the plot, and the ending was a bit like wham, bam, thank you, m'am. The movie kept the same pace throughout which may have ruined it, but the action was good which kept my interest.
15
Gangs of New York 2002,  R)
Gangs of New York
The only Leo movie that has disappointed ever.
16
Celebrity 1998,  R)
Celebrity
I have to see this film yet I have no idea why...
17
Critters 3 - You Are What They Eat 1991,  PG-13)
18
Inception 2010,  PG-13)
Inception
the best thing about this movie was the ending because it was so open ended that anything was possible, and everyone would think differently about it.
19
Shutter Island 2010,  R)
Shutter Island
Everything about this movie was great.
