Good point in the way Grisham (do not forget from where it comes from) tells you about the South, and also good the moral controversy. Although that, a too many times told story.

It maintains the pulse more by racial tension than because of the investigation, but it is still interesting despite the time since the original release because you can feel the strength of the characters and the incendiary situation that is going on.
