Probably the goriest movie ever. It also has some extremly hillarious moments. The fans of the gener will love it. I did.

This film is not sick, it's dealing with life. It's about people who are ruining other peoples cultures because they can, because they have the power to do so.
Remeber for example what Cortez did to Aztecs etc

Brutal, graphic but funny as well. It's the perfect gory movie if you compare it with most of the Hollywood's retard horror/ splatter movies.

Most people probably will find it silly and bad - aged. For me, it was an extremly enjoyable comedy - splatter film. Those who liked ''Braindead'' must not miss this one.

For me that's the best film of Tarantino - wannabe director R. Rodriguez. And probably one of the best of it's kind.

After I watched ''Braindead'' and ''Evil Dead I & II'', I though I had seen everything. But I was mistaken. Bloody and hillarious ! Highly recommended to the fans of the genre.

Think you are sick enough to stand - and even ''enjoy'' - the goriest video ever ? If yes, well then .. try it !

Holy ****

Well, to begin with, I was expecting something much more better from someone who distinguishes himself as a film director, writer, poet journalist, philosopher, linguist, novelist, playwright, newspaper and magazine columnist, actor, painter and political figure.
I watched this film because I knew It was very graphic with many disturbing scenes - extreme violence, sadism, sexual and mental torture. Those moments some people can take them and some can't. I personally 'enjoy' to be shocked by disturbing stuff like these.
As I said moments like these can annoy someone - a lot. But what I found extremly annoying was the religion and political positions of Pasolini - or, in order to be more accurate - the way he introduced his beliefs into that film.
Ok, he hates fascism. I agree. Most people would. You don't have to be a communist to dislike fascism. But when you are making a movie having the intention to show how evil fascism is, you do not have to visually offend the viewers. Actually, the best way to handle a subject like this, is to feed the viewer's brain with examples taken from the REAL life.
My point is : make a great gory/ horror movie with no particular plot or make a good drama and you'll succeed your goal. Mix the two genres and you'll probably produce a failure.
As for the 'religion' issue, I need to say that my whole life I have been taught to be a Christian. That doesn't necessarily make me one. Hope you got my point. Thing is, being a Christian or not I was disgusted by Passolini's vile attack to religion.
So now ask yourself once again. Were the graphic scenes the most annoying thing in the movie ? And is 'Salo' the disturbing but message imparting film that is supposed to be ?
