Conan the Barbarian 2011, R)
Once again Hollywood fails miserably to bring any merit to the idea of remaking a classic movie. This version of Conan The Barbarian looks like an adult version of Xena Warrior Princess with equally tawdry dialogue and screenplay. This film falls flat on its face in the shadow of the original and even it's sequel!! |

Overflowing with ideas and certainly a film noir that sticks in my head more than it's average counterparts. I did enjoy the whole concept of this film although many of the characters ham it up, there are plenty of good performances, twists, and every cliche you want from this genre. |
