Good show. Liked Wahlberg. On my "Into Sports" list. DVD.

Watched the edited for TV version--good thing, I could tell it had a ton of language. It was sad, terrible, kinda cheesy, and good all at the same time!! Revenge does carry a huge price.

Max Payne
I knew nothing about this movie and I don't think it's gotten very good reviews but....I really liked this dark, kinda gothic movie! It surprised me how much I liked it...it was just a fluke that I even went to see it. I thought there were a couple corny parts and I wish they would have given more background on some of the relationships, but i thought it was exciting, suspenseful and well done! The other thing I liked was the near absence of bad language...I hate it when movies are all F words...I won't watch 'em! This one had one F bomb and a small spattering of others and that was a plus for me :)

Pretty good, I like Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron, but Edward Norton is very hateable in this movie!! I don't know, for me it just didn't have that umph....

The Lovely Bones 2009,  PG-13)
The Lovely Bones
Tragic and sickening tale of a 14 year old girl murdered by a serial killer. The girl is supposedly stuck between earth and heaven and narrates the life she had and what happened to her. This movie left me a little speechless, I didn't realize what it would be like, and it threw me a little. Some really great performances but I didn't know there would be so much fantasy. It just didn't work for me on some levels and yet some very mesmerizing scenes that lingered with me for a couple days. Very unique and weird.

Rock Star
Definitely had to filter this one and watched it on TV! But you could still really pick up on the crazy, immoral lifestyle of a rocker. What I enjoyed was Mark Wahlberg going from a nobody to a Rock Star, cool to watch that part and I thought he was perfectly cast and did a great job with it.
