The movies I really love are not movies for me, they are an experience for me. Although my likings are too different.

Titanic (in 3D)
Watching James Cameron's Titanic is always a delightful pleasure. But experiencing it on a screen is a feeling of bit closer to heaven. I must have watched it 12-13 times on home video. But nothing could give such a fantastic than this. It has been wonderfully transformed into 3D, I could not believe that it is a converted version. One of the finest movie experience, I'll never ever forget.

Schindler's List
When I brought the disc I thought, it would be a good movie but I was wrong it's not just a good movie but its a Cinematic Gem. Perfectly crafted and detailed work of cinema.
Hard hitting back-drop and strong performances by all actors is the power of this gem.
Although it was too violent but original work by Mr. Spielberg.
It's "KICK-ASS" I say. Only lots of love to the makers and cast of Schindler's List.
And Good bless those 6 Million souls.
Thanks... Mr. Spielberg for showing us the power of cinema, Love you.

Taxi Driver 1976,  R)
Taxi Driver
Since everyone knows TAXI DRIVER is a cult-classic so let's not about movie, direction, production, music or any other factors of production.
This review (I am not an expert) is about the soul of the movie, THE GREAT "ROBERT DeNiro" perhaps (up-to my knowledge) is one the marvelous actor in the history of world cinema yet born.
While experiencing (that's what I call watching Taxi Driver)I forgot Travis is actually played by Robert. Travis is so unique in his abnormal life. The way he observes his environment, the way he is sick of local system and little girl in prostitution. His love at first sight and his daring acts. Robert remains at the best. I am sure, till now No actor at his age can performed the level he did in this.
Theres no doubt that Tarantino is heavily influenced by it. Even David Bowie famous and great song from Cat People (1982) had line, "Its been SO LONG..SO LONG" the last phrase said by Travis at the end of this amazing classic.

I always love it... So Long.

The Adventures of Tintin 2011,  PG)

Boys Don't Cry 1999,  R)
Boys Don't Cry
Its hard-hitting and schmaltzy. Boys Don't Cry is undeniably impressive because of Hilary Swank. She reminds me of Al Pacino! What a great actress! She alone is more than enough to over-come its cliches.
Even though its doesn't race-up high initially but maintain its pace later.
It's for Hilary.. Love her, truly fantastic..

The Artist 2011,  PG-13)
The Artist
The Artist by Director Michel Hazanavicius is simply a brilliant idea, that truly works!

An outstanding tribute to the magic of cinema (silent)
It not only shows the dark side of "Hollywood-Land" but the desperation of being a STAR.
Set in late 1920s' where beloved Hero (not actor then) George (Jean Dujardin) enjoys the power being the biggest star.
Since "Change is nature" silent era gasp for its existence, so does our beloved hero.
Eventual, talking motion pictures (Talkies) rises and silent movies become Titanic.

So simply its a "Rise-'n'-Fall" of a star. But its a classic masterpiece because of stable and influenced direction by (Michel Hazanavicius)

Jean Dujardin who is charming and excellent here. Supported by extraordinary cast of Bérénice Bejo and others.

Technically its a much better film than itself. Extra ordinary music, cinematography, editing, production design, costumes, make up, visual effects (as they were special effects)

This is the movie for the great Mister Charlie Chaplin would like to love himself.
The greatness of The Artist lies in its french charm.

When the world is going mad over this 3D thing in cinemas, TV's and mobile phones. Director (Hazanavicius) goes for for the best way of it. It has been short like an silent movie in a standard 4 : 3 ratio.

Although there is no definition of a great movie but if there is any definition, then it will apply for The Artist.

Thank you Mister Michel Hazanavicius for the memory that I will always remember until my last movie loving DNA is alive within me...
