A perfectly enjoyable blockbuster. Kirsten Dunst seems miscast but maybe I should blame the writers. How did they manage to make MJ dull as paste? And changing the story so Peter was mooning over her since birth was purely annoying. But the movie rises far above its faults. And there couldn't be a more perfect J. Jonah Jameson. Although, Raimi has got to tone down on the hokey sappiness and remember Spiderman's supposed to be an intelligent, witty guy. His audience isn't five year olds. |
