After my first viewing of "A SERIOUS MAN." I was left quite disoriented and baffled. It took a second viewing to cement this (in my mind) as a work of pure genius and one of the Coen brother's best films. I haven't seen anything quite like it; Beautiful, funny, strange and haunting.

See this film... it's unforgettable. Just make sure you leave some time afterwards to discuss and deconstruct it with a fellow lover of cinema!

One of the true greats of 2009.

The Coen Brothers have crafted a instant western classic; a near masterpeice with "True Grit," a film that expertly blends their signature style with old school western sensibilities. Jeff Bridges is great here, but newcomer Hailee Steinfeld is definately the heart of the film, and gives the most impressive performance.

A stellar remake that breathes new life into this material. The Duke would be proud!
