A modern classic, Sam Mendes has brought us a true classic in his first outing as a director. Getting one of if not his finest performance from Kevin Spacey on his dry best abley supported by a great cast including Annette Bening, Wes Bentley, Thora Birch, Mena Suvari and Chris Cooper many of which will struggle to give a perfomance like this gain. A great story of a suburb of people trapped in the lives they wish to escape.

Although lacking the innocense of the first American Pie, AP2 still boats amany similarityies to the first the great soundtrack, well written script, good cast. Everything you expect from a follow up to American Pie with some truley hilarious scenes.

An enjoyable remake i the casting was very god and good to see Ethan Hawke back on the silverscreen the action keeps coming and follows all the action movie rules.

Guillermo del Toro takes the helm for this sequal and that is a good choice, with this he makes a movie that offers nonstop action and follows enough of the the original Blade ideas but with a story that is not just a remake of sorts.

I think Constantine is one of the better choices of comic book adaptation as the hero is an anti hero of sorts. John Constantine has many downfalls hes a chain smoker, hard drinker, a suicidee someone who isnt whiter than white so i enjoy the character more than a lot of the goodie goodie comic heros. A good traditional toryline of good vs evil with a twist throw in the a good cast and u have a good flick.

Deserving of its Oscar win, a really well directed movie. Well acted by an amazing cast who dont disappoint. Winning Martin Scorsese the deserved long awaited Best Director statue proves this movie is this good.

The Dark Knight, what can you say that hasn't already been sauid. A clear case of a sequal better than the first, non stop action from start to finish. A great cast a clever story that fits the Batman timeline and opens up so much for the future. Heath Ledger definatly steals the show and if theres no Oscar i'll be suprised.

A really well acted movie great perfomances from Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt And Stanley Tucci. The acting is really where this movies shows its strength although most other areas live upto this also in what is a well written movie.

Great. Wicked to see Jason & Freddy together. A horror with good humour aswell

What can you say about Gladiator that hasn't been said before? It's one of these rare films where evryone and everything just comes together so perfectly. The acting is of high quality from Crowe, Phoenix, Neilsen etc and the direction is spot on. Cinematography and SPX make this a classic with beautiful scenes which help pack the movie out. A modern classic and faultless picture.

The ultimate James Bond movie and it will never be bettered, it just goes to show that you dont need all the special effects the new ones fill with. Watched o nthe big screen as part of Radio 1's Big Movie Weekend added a whole new perspective and i can say for sure it suits the big scrreen.

Such an enjoyable movie, the music was great great songs and well performed by all involved. I think the casting was spot on from the leads right down to the smallest supporting roles. I sat in the theatre with a chessy grin on my face all through :)

When i first heard they were making a new Herbie movie i was very skeptickal. However the general feel of this movie follows on in the tradition. In a few parts the Herbie animation is too over the top, no computer special effects should be used it shoulld all be done for real.

Really enjoyable horror flick with a good cast and great special effects

One of my favourite horror movies inspired by the legendary Vincent Price's original this take it one step further and camps it up twice as much. Although not trying to invent take on horros this is good fun there are good deaths plenty of gore and a good cast. Geoffrey Rush is again wonderful filling an over the top role.

I Still Know... is not quite upto the first movie but still packs a weighty slasher punch, theres all you need there a good soundtrack, a good killer, twists plenty of killings and blood. It starts slowly with the build up to the big island showdown where mayhem breaks out.

Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man! He is perfectly cast and rules the screen with smack bang precison. A great story, great SFX, great cast with Bridges, Howard and Paltrow all doing grat in their roles. The sound track was awesome but this is the Robert Downey Jr. show and he deserves all the plaudits raise.

This is a hell of a lot better than i expected does a good job of splicing the sci-fi genre and the horror genre.

The second installment The Two Towers reunites us with the characters of the first as we continue our journey to destroy the ring. There is no different feel to the movie but The Two Towers take the form of a war movie or a battle movie anyway. Same performances, direction, etc as the first.

The final chapter in LOTR triology closes all storylines and finishes of the journey to destroy the ring. Now despite its Oscar win it is no Oscar movie it got it as a reward for the sheer size of the whole project. Very much like the first two and a fitting conclusion to the saga.

Mamma Mia! is a classic, if you enjoy musicals you will love it. You can't helpo but sit there with a smile or even singing along. I have a feeling this could reach the heights Chicago did and receive Oscar nominations. The casting when you first see is sumwhat bizarre and you don't expect a lot from Brosnan, Firth and Skarsgard but they all deliver. The cast is great in the end and work together so well.

Max Payne is a very average action movie the story is good but not original and has been done better, the ending is predictable from the very start and isnt done to the best it could have been. The performances arnt bad just not asking that much the action scenes just dont feel as good as they could have been.

A smooth hollywood flick. A big star studded cast and director Soderbergh make this very Hollywood friendly but despite this the film doesnt fail to impress. Clooney and Pitt work well of each other a goodstory.

A truley enjoyable movie, Depp pulls a career best.

Quantum of Solace is better than Casino Royale but that doesnt take much, it works well as a basic action movie but the affiliation to Bond i find insulting. I love the traditional Bond movies and feel Daniel Craig does not suit the character at all. There are some good scenes and Olga Kurylenko is hot as but Bond needs a bad villan not the boring buinessman villans we have now.

Jerry Zucker tries to bring back the good old chase movie but fails i really feel he has lost his touch and that nowadays there is no place for these movies done so poorly. A good cast but failed by the script and action.

A thoroughly enjoyable flick, the story is unique and keeps you watching thanks in no short way to the way it unfolds and the added extras. A great cast put in good performances ion this under appreciated thriller. Pearce and Carlyle are work well against each other as the leads and director Antonia Bird does well.

Greta movie, humerous, suspensful, thrilling and hey who can argue with a juggenaut with Rusty Nail behind the wheel?

In my view one of the best sequels ever, greta soundtrack great story. A really enjoyable flick. Shame bout Randy tho.

Not as strong as the previous two movies and noticibly missing the writing talents of Kevin Williamson.

Great sequal carries on the story but this time Mary Jane takes a more pivital role, the Spider Man series will follow MJ and her every move will effectwhich way the story goes. Alfred Molina is great in his role of Doc Ock, Spidey 2 does not disappoint and leaves plenty to be worked on in the third.

Not a shade on the first remake.

A good enjoyable horror flick laden with effects. Storywise its a little more creative and with ghosts that are genuinly scary at times. A good cast and well over acted by Matthew Lillard.

I remember watching Training Day for the first time and thinking why on earth did Denzel Washington win and Oscar? Ive justwatched it for the third time and now i fully appreciate why, the performance is great and he works so well of his surroundings and the fellow cast members. It's a really good movie filled with a great story, good acting and great finale.

Pierce Brosnan's best Bond movie. AStory wise a traditional Bond, the special effects are becoming to big for the series tho i feel.
