Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Plot/Summary,The second feature from director Michel Gondry (Human Nature) finds the filmmaker reteaming with screenwriter Charlie Kaufman for this off-the-wall romantic comedy. Jim Carrey stars as Joel Barish, a man who is informed that his ex-girlfriend Clementine (Kate Winslet) has had her memories of their relationship erased from her brain via an experimental procedure performed by Dr. Mierzwiak (Tom Wilkinson). Not to be outdone, Joel decides to have the same procedure done to himself. As Mierzwiak's bumbling underlings Stan (Mark Ruffalo) and Patrick (Elijah Wood) perform the operation on Joel -- over the course of an evening, in his apartment -- Joel struggles in his own mind to save the memories of Clementine from being deleted. My Review
Mary:How happy is the blameless vessel flout, the world forgetting by the world forgotten Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, each prayer accepted, each wish resigned. This feel good heartfelt love story revolves around a guy named Joel meeting a woman named Clementine played Kate Winslet who he feels has forgotten her but then reunites with her after trying to forget about her. During one scene while Joel is given the treatment of losing his memory's of her he quotes "Please just let me keep this one" I honestly feel that their could have been a moral about good and bad memory's such as every memory with love and relationships must be kept the good and even bad. The acting is just blessid from all the actors in this film. But Jim Carry's character Joel is the one you feel the most for in this film. Joel seems so depressed in those small scenes of sadness i felt like i was watching myself. The Cinematography is well done. This film is a true love story and a masterpiece and a film that should not be forgotten. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind gets a 5 out of 5.

Safe Haven 2013,  PG-13)
Safe Haven
Plot/Summary,An affirming and suspenseful story about a young woman's struggle to love again, Safe Haven is based on the novel from Nicholas Sparks, the best-selling author behind the hit films The Notebook and Dear John. When a mysterious young woman arrives in a small North Carolina town, her reluctance to join the tight knit community raises questions about her past. Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex, a widowed store owner with two young children. But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller. My Review "I love you and i can't let you go" This is the best Nicholas Sparks adapted movie since the notebook and im not just saying that, i mean it had some changes that were good it had all of what i wanted except for one scene, that was in the book but not in the movie. The part of the book that im talking about is the part in chapter 2 of the book where Jo and Katie have this conversation. There drinking tea and jo was asking Katie questions about her past life. That wasn't in the movie which was kind of disappointing cause i liked that part of the book and i was pretty sad that didn't get put into the movie. But like i said there were some changes that were good like that scene were Alex played brilliantly bu Josh Duhamel sees the Person of intrest picture of Aron(Katie) and go's to her and telss her to leave. Along with another scene that was pretty short but cool where Kevin's boss is confronting him and says he's suspended. The acting is splendid and i thought the kids who played Josh and Lexi were really good. I Even thought the scenes with Katie running away and being beaten by Kevin were well executed cause they seemed suspensful. This to me truly is the best Nicholas Sparks adaption since The Notebook i gives Safe Haven a thumps way up and a 5 out of 5.

Crazy, Stupid, Love. 2011,  PG-13)
Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Plot/Summary,At fortysomething, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Steve Carell) is living the dream-good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart. But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his "perfect" life quickly unravels. Worse, in today's single world, Cal, who hasn't dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth. Now spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protégé to handsome, thirtysomething player Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling).
My Review
You know the only reason i was interested in seeing this was because of the music in the background of every commercial i saw for it. It went a little little something like this "My life you electrify my life" and that's what got me interested in the film well that and one of my many wife's Emma stone was in this film. The film starts of a little creepy when you see the legs of people in a restraunt then we meet some of our two main characters Cal and Emily Weaver and Emily wants a divorce so later in like the first fifteen minutes Cal jumps out of car. The film title for me when i first heard about it i thought it was stupid cause it said Crazy stupid love but then as i was watching i understood why it was called crazy stupid love because its what happens when your in a hard relationship Crazy stupid love. Crazy stupid love is not a crazy stupid film that's why it gets a five out of five.

The Lucky One 2012,  PG-13)
The Lucky One
Plot/Summary,U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive--a photograph he found of a woman he doesn't even know. Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
My Review(Book&Film Review)
While many people don't crave Nicholas Sparks books and films it's because half of them are men when this is mainly for women. Why do i like and read his books? Easy i'm softhearted and have never found love which is why i like and read his books. The Lucky One was my second read Nicholas Sparks book i read so this is pretty important to me. The Lucky One is about a marine sergeant Logan Thibault who finds a picture of a smiling beautiful women and is told by his friend Victor that's it's his lucky charm. Logan searches for her and walks all the way from Colorado to Hampton and meets Beth(Elizabeth) who has just went through a divorce with Keith Clayton. AS Logan and Elizabeth form a love his picture could just tear them apart. The Film captured the fate thin pretty well in my opinion as for the cinematography everything in Hampton looks beautiful. They capture Hampton very well with their shots of the small town. The pacing is very bad in the beginning of the film. Everything in the beginning just feels rushed and i don't like that not to mention Logan barely mentions Victor. They didn't show Victor die by the boat in the beginning either and that's just seemed kind of a let down. They got the way Ben Logan meet all wrong but i'll let that sly. As for everything it's great it feels like The Lucky One not to mention to me (Spoiler Alert) they should of just stuck with the ending in the book which was in the end Logan and Keith drowned to death. But overall this movie is one of the best Nicholas Sparks adaptions in a while.

The Vow 2012,  PG-13)
The Vow
Plot/Summary,A newlywed couple recovers from a car accident that puts the wife in a coma. Waking up with severe memory loss, her husband endeavors to win her heart again.
My Review
A couple of years back The Notebook based on Nicholas Sparks novel was released and is considered to be one of the greatest love store's of all time, and many films have tried to clone it,some based on sparks novels some not. But there's a new romance in the blue starring The Notebooks very own Rachel McAdams called The Vow,which is inspired by true events. The Vow revolves around a couple who are married, one night after getting hit by a truck has Leo's wife Paige lose all of her memories of him and the life they had. Leo is played by Channing Tatum who does excellent in his role and you feel the most for his character struggling to find a way to have his remember him. Rachel McAdams plays Paige with absolute beauty, i mean she was very belivable. The ending is a shocker. This film is a wonderful love story and i really recommend you see it.

Romeo and Juliet 1968,  PG)
Romeo and Juliet
Plot/Summary,Director Franco Zeffirelli's 1968 version of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet was touted at the time of its release (successfully, if the box-office receipts are any indication), as something of a "youth trip" movie. This is because Zeffirelli broke the long-standing tradition of casting over-aged, sometimes grey-haired players in the title roles. Seventeen-year-old Leonard Whiting plays Romeo, with 15-year-old Olivia Hussey as Juliet. The youthfulness and inexperience of the leading players works beautifully in the more passionate sequences (some of these breaking further ground by being played in the nude). Among the younger players are Michael York as Tybalt and John McEnery as Mercutio. The duel between Romeo and Tybalt starts out as a harmless, frat-boy exchange of insults, then escalates into tragedy before any of the participants are fully aware of what has happened. Photographed by Pasqualino DeSantis on various locations in Italy, Romeo and Juliet was one of the most profitable film adaptations of Shakespeare ever produced. Its most lasting legacy is its popular main theme music, composed by Nino Rota.
My Review
One of the most enduring love stories has become one of the most enjoyable and best motion pictures of all time. This great Motion was very deserving of it's academy awards i just hope it took best picture.
