This film is not about the tele-kinetic abilities of Carrie White, in his novel, Stephen King could have replace Carrie's ability with other things, but how the ongoing tension in the novel, capable of very scary visualized by Brian DePalma. The film is very effective, as there is no pause for breath, every second of every minute of this movie was fantastic, and terminated by a climax that successfully describes a stack of Carrie's anger that oppressed since the beginning of the movie. Oh God, why are not there more films like this. Remake version, skip it! |

Involves a strong element of feeling like a poem. Almost none of the shortcomings in this movie. Riveting performances from Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman as an actor confirmed they wrote a brilliant character. At the end of the film managed to stir up feelings of the audience and the contemplation of the meaning of a friendship. This is a melodramatic masterpiece ever made! |
