Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Ang Lee reviving the kung fu in this 2000's era. With beautiful cinematography and an interesting story, this may signify a new era of martial arts films!
Hulk 2003,  PG-13)
I will admit was surprised to see Ang Lee's directing style in this movie. Surprised and disappointed to see it, the trailer displays admirable actions of the Hulk, but unfortunately the film itself actually even flat and bland to watch. The audience is forced to watch as the stupid drama and was followed by the ending that much more sickening.
Brokeback Mountain 2005,  R)
Brokeback Mountain
A forbidden love story filmed with a different concept by Ang Lee. Very touching watching this film, coupled with brilliant acting from Ledger and Gyllenhaal. But it is unfortunate that the dialogues built a little less bite, so the film becomes a bit boring. That is the reason, this movie stars only got 3 1 / 2 of me.

Life of Pi
"Doubt is useful, it keeps faith a living thing. Afterall, you cannot know the strength of your faith until it is tested."

Everything sticks here. Apart from typical story, Life of Pi is amazing movie experience. Ang Lee knows how to make impact to the heart, to the eye, and after we leaving the cinema. Winning photography from Claudio Miranda and faithful adaptation from Yann Martel's best selling book. I can say this is best 3D film I've experienced. This is movie event of the year. Beautifully brilliant!!
