A surfer movie about 3 girls living the ultimate dream of surfing on Hawaii's famed North Shore. Bosworth's character dreamt of competing in the Pipe Masters surf competition --Initially I watched this movie because it was filmed in Hawaii. I was sure the scenery would be breathtaking and it was much more. Plot and cast are great, but the real star of this movie is the surfing. It is a pure celebration of riding the waves.

First of all I m not a Adam Sandler fan, I watched this because of Drew Barrymore, she is so lovable in this role. Together, they managed to produce a romantic team. A fun, feel good comedy

Quite a worthy sequel with exotic Japanese locations and new characters This time the story here takes a profound look into the life of Mr. Miyagi. The friendship between Daniel and Mr Miyagi had matured and the two depends on each other to overcome obstacles. Mr Miyagi still retains a noble presence and his acting is still top notch. The story is certainly darker than the first film but lacks the fun and quirkiness.

It is interesing and has an unexpected plot. I was not even aware that Johnny Depp and Marlon Brando made a movie together. My favourite chameleon , Depp hypnotically believeable as Don Juan, the world's greatest lover, the legendary 17th-century Spanish lover.
Of course, it is always good to have the great Marlon Brandon on the screen.
Guys ought to pay some attention to this movie;)

MAGNIFICIENT!! Where this movie triumphed, it is in the special effects. The creation of the Navi and the creatures that inhabit the jungles of Pandora are simply jaw droppingly stunning.
The Plot: You may have seen it somewhere before. Which movie, one may wonder? Yes, the plot is predictable but still, do not miss a journey to Pandora.

A twisty, suspenseful thriller if you survive that long buildup in the beginning.

Adrien Brody surprised me as an action hero. As a lead, he did a solid job as the reluctant soldier of fortune, however Predators disappoints as it does not deliver the same or more tension-packed experience as the 1987 original, For 21st century version, I expected the stakes to be raised and the excitement meter rarely jumps for me. My highlight:The predators remain cool-looking adversaries. Overall this stalk-and-kill session is entertaining, just not a memorable one.

A film involving the afterlife and supernatural from Clint Eastwood that surprisingly failed to ignite any spark. Through three interlocking stories, three different people in three different countries having to deal with death in three completely different ways. The opening of Hereafter was gripping and the special effects, amazing! But then the movie moved rather slowly with an ending that is too farfetched and contrived for me.

This is the incredible true story of a promising surfer who dreamt of going Pro, Bethany Hamilton. It is about a girl who is extremely passionate about surfing and how she overcame a tragedy. Hamilton lost her left arm in a shark attack in 2003, yet she overcomes adversity to become a champion surfer. The story itself was fascinating and it kept my interest most of the time, however her uplifting underdog story had been sugarcoated and inserted with far too many religious subtext. This film came off presenting it in that light. Robb plays Bethany with a wonderful humanity. I believe playing a real, living person is always challenging for any actor, and she does a great job of capturing Bethany Hamilton's genuinely courageous attitude. Soul surfer is still a good movie to watch even it may fall apart with some of its cheesy dialogues. Amazing movie locations with its stunning surf photography, fans of Blue Crush would enjoy it.

I was very skeptical to view this after Tim Burton's highly misguided remake a decade ago. The original 1968 Planet of the Apes movie is an undeniable science-fiction classic. However, the Rise turned out to be a surprisingly satisfying reboot concept. Aided by remarkable and thoroughly convincing computerized imagery, the creation of the main simian, Caesar was absolutely astounding. He is disquietingly lifelike. Given their high achievements with the character Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the FX team and Andy Serkis had breathed life into a character that is without dialogue and yet able to convey a lot through facial expression and body language. Serkis gives the most compelling and interesting performance in the movie by a long shot. The apes certainly stole the show from the uninteresting human characters especially Freida Pinto's character. She plays a very bland and unconvincing veterinary love interest for James Franco. She is completely forgettable in this film.
