Adam Sandler Movies

This film is sort of funny. This is based off of a old SNL skit. The film stars Dan Aykroyd, Jane Curtain, Michelle Burke and Chris Farley. This skit does not translate well into a movie. I prefered the SNL skits to this. The movie does have some funny moments. But most of the movie is silly. I enjoy some silly and odd comedies but this one did not appeal to me. Worth maybe a watch if you were a fan of the old SNL skits.

A solid comedy starring Brendan Fraser, Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi. They are a metal band that try and get their demo tape played on radio. When the DJ refuses they take the radio station hostage. The film is full of laughs. A fun enjoyable comedy to watch.

This is a Adam Sandler classic. Oh that Veronica Vaughn. My second favorite Adam Sandler film. Great laughs every time I watch this film. Sure the film has crude humour but I enjoyed it. A mindless comedy that I always get a laugh from when I watch it.

This is my all time favorite Adam Sandler film. The character Happy Gilmore was great. He still held the NHL record of stabbing someone with his skate. Funny. Sure there is some crude humor in this but it works. I never get bored watching this film. I always get a good laugh. Love the Bob Barker fight scene to the evil golfer Shooter McGavin. A classic comedy.

A very funny movie. One of Adam Sandler's and Damon Wayans hidden hits. This your typical buddy cop type of comedy. Some of the humour is crude but it is still a funny movie. Plus some decent action in the film. Overall just a fun movie to watch and enjoy.

This was a funny movie. Norm MacDonald does not get enough credit as a comedian. Art Lange from Mad TV fame is also very funny in this. Has a funny story and good supporting cast. This is one of those films that has a goofy story with your typical crude humour. But it works for this type of film. A fun mindless movie to make me laugh. Worth a watch.

Very funny. Even if your not a football fan it is worth a watch. YOU CAN DO IT! Adam Sandler's third best film. Some crude humor and jokes in this. But they pull it off with great humor and characters. I always get a good laugh from watching this.

Of course we get the typical ending where he does end up caring for the kid. The film is funny and has a solid story. Not as funny as some of his other films but still was entertaining. This is a solid comedy by Adam Sandler. This time he is the son of satan and must bring his brothers back from earth to hell or it will freeze over. The film has lots of your typical Sandler humour. Plus his usuals are cast in this. Great to see Rodney Dangerfield and Harvey Keitel cast in this as well. The film has a solid story and does bring enough laughs for entertaining. My favorite scene has to be when Nicky is learning to use his powers and he turns coke into pepsi. Very funny. This movie is not as good as some of Sandler's other films but worth a watch if your a Sandler fan.

Another solid funny comedy from Adam Sandler. The film also has John Turturro, Peter Gallagher and Winona Ryder. The film has you typical Sandler humour. Very funny moments and scenes through out the movie. This time we have Sandler's character Mr.Deeds from a small town inherit a major company. Peter Gallagher character of course is trying in the film to make sure he gets control of the company. A funny film overall. Not as funny as some of his other movies. But still worth a watch if your a Sandler fan.

This is a good romantic comedy. The film has your typical Adam Sandler humour but I liked it. Adam and Drew Barrymore are both very good in this. Just a funny wacky film to watch.

This is a updated remake to the original Longest Yard film. Nice to see Burt Reynolds back for this. The film has your basic Adam Sandler comedy. But I like it. The movie is about the prisoners verses the guards in a football match. Easy plot to follow with tons of likeable characters. If you enjoy sport films or are a Adam Sandler fan then I would recommend this film.

Plus the film has a deeper message about enjoying life and family while your still around. The film has a good supporting cast with Christopher Walken, Kate Beckinsale, Sean Astin and David Hasselhoff. A film worth watching even if your not a Adam Sandler fan.

This is a very good drama about a man who lost his family after 9/11 and is trying to deal with it. Outstanding performances by Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle. Adam actually buts away his usual comedy self and brings a strong dramatic performance. The film has a great story and interesting characters. The story is heartwrenching and entertaining at the same time. With a very strong supporting cast helping the film that much better. The story knows how to tug on your heart and is well worth checking out.

This was a very funny movie. The film has your typical Adam Sandler crew filling in for the supporting cast. Plus a David Spade cameo in it. Your typical Sandler humor but I enjoyed it. Kevin James was also very funny in this as the other main lead in the film. The film has many funny scenes and one liners. A funny film worth checking out.

A solid family made picture by Adam Sandler. The story is about a man who works at a hotel that was once owned by his farther. He has to care for his niece and nephew for a week and begins to tell them bedtime stories. These stories come true the very next day. Of course he then begins to use these stories to his advantage. A funny film. Adam Sandler tones down his typical humour for this family film. But he still does some of his usual funny sounds and some trade mark lines from other films. A solid supporting cast. Plus he still gets his typical friends to have small roles in this film. A fun film for the family or adults to watch.

Do not be fooled by the title of the film. The story is not a real comedy. More of a drama. The film is about a famous comedian dying of a rare leukemia. He looks back and hates his life choices. He befriends and hires another up and coming comedian to write him jokes and be his personal assistant. Of course this film shows the struggles with his coming death and his regrets. The film has a solid cast with Adam Sandler, Seth Green, Eric Bana, Leslie Mann and Jonah Hill. The humour overall is not that funny. More crude comedy moments than actual pure funny moments or lines. Some scenes are funny but they are little and far between in this. Now the dramatic parts are quite good in this. But the comedy and drama parts do not seem to mish mash together very well. The movie has tons of cameos that are from the comedy world. Overall this film could have been better. The drama parts are great but the comedy could have been less crude and tried to be more silly and fun like some of Sandler's earlier films in his career. Worth only a watch if your a big time Sandler and Rogen fan.

I think this movie was just made to give Adam Sandler and his buddies a reason to all work together. Okay maybe not but it seemed like it. The story has a group of childhood friends come back together after the death of their old basketball coach who meant a lot to them. They then all decide to take their families out to a cottage for the weekend that their coach would take them to as kids. The movie has a fun cast. You could tell they had fun making this movie. The movie does have many funny moments that made me laugh. The comedy is a bit crude at times but not unexpected for a Adam Sandler film. Overall I enjoy this movie. Worth a one time watch for Sandler fans.

This is a romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Basic plot has Sandler character as a plastic surgeon who pretends to be married to have sex with women and not be tied down. But he meets a young women who he feels is the one for him. But she thinks he is married. So help from Aniston's character they pretend to be going through a divorce so he can get with this woman. But are they both really better with each other? Overall this is a funny film. Sandler and Aniston actually have chemistry in this film. They both bring the laughs. Also the two children actors in this are very good in their roles as well. Lots of the humour is typical of most Sandler films. So if your not a Sandler fan you won't enjoy the comedy. Tons of bit parts from Sandler's buddies as usual in his films. If you enjoyed Sandler's past romantic comedies like "50 First Dates" then you should enjoy this as well. Well worth the watch for some laughs and romance thrown into one.
