Very captivating movie - great plot with good twists & turns & plenty of action too. Another great movie with Denzel taking the lead role.

This wasn't as good as I expected it to be.. slow starting but the action sequences were pretty good, ending could have been better though!

they shouldn't have killed off his character at the end, I heard that there is an alternate ending where he lives & that would have been better for the main film. Also, how heartbreaking were the scenes with his dog?? (or is that just me being overly sentimental?).
Overall I thought it was a great movie with the potential of being excellent!

I didn't originally want to watch this - the obvious similaritites with Battle Royale with a cast list that I'd usually avoid - but it was actually quite good.
Plenty of action & blatantly questioning viewers ideas of entertainment on the reality tv debate!

For an all out action-packed movie, look no further. Be prepared for lots of violence and gore ~ I haven't fully watched any of the previous Rambo films and obviously Sly has aged, however it doesn't hinder his performance.

I enjoyed the style in which this was filmed - constant rewinds looking at other people's view of the events as the story unfolds. The concept keeps you interested as a little more of the plot is revealed each time the movie changes viewpoint. This and the great action sequences make this a very entertaining movie to watch.

Christian Bale's performance was quite captivating as the Cleric who discovers emotions in a nation where people are drugged to keep their feelings numb.

Liam Neeson plays a former spy on a manhunt and out to save his daughter in this slick action/thriller.
It has a great story - there are some very believable elements to it and although the plot isn't flawless , the movie is very engaging.
Definitely worth a watch.

Action-packed with some great stunts - think The Fast & The Furious meets Mean Machine(.. or those similar themed prison movies) and you're nearly there.
I was surprised to find this really entertaining APART from the teenybopper scenes where the girls arrive for the race!

Great for effects & an action-packed ride.. for most of the movie you (and the characters) are left wondering what is going on.. but when the plot is revealed, it's a case of 'oh ok - a bit like I,Robot then!'.
Entertaining but not a highly imaginative story.
