Any Given Sunday
This is a good football film. Shows the stories between coaches, players, management and the media. The film has such a great cast starring Al Pacino, Cameron Diaz, Dennis Quaid, Jamie Fox and James Woods. The story is fresh and entertaining compared to other football films. If your a fan of sport or football movies then check this one out.

Erin Brockovich 2000,  R)
Erin Brockovich
This is a true life based story about a woman named Erin Brockovich who fights a power company that polluted a towns water supply. Stars Julia Roberts as Erin Brockovich. This film won Julia Roberts an Oscar. She does give a strong performance in this. The story is interesting. But not as good as all the hype around it. But still worth a one time watch.

The Pledge 2001,  R)
The Pledge
This is a solid mystery thriller. The movie stars Jack Nicholson as a police detective who is about to retire. But he gets drawn into a murder case and must help solve and catch the killer. Jack Nicholson is very good in his role. Plus the film has a great supporting cast. I enjoyed this movie. You want Nicholson's character to catch this killer before he ends his career. The only big let down to me was the ending. I wish they could have done it another way. But overall a movie worth watching.

Paycheck
This turned out to be a decent action Sci-fi film. Dealing with memory loss, hi-tech software and secrets. John Woo delivers his usual action sequences and film images throughout the film. Ben Affleck and Aaron Eckhart are both very good in their roles. I didn't really care for Uma Thurman as the love interest. She was the one cast member who seemed out of place in the film. Overall a thrilling action pack adventure that was entertaining.

Suspect Zero 2004,  R)
Suspect Zero
This is a solid thiller. It stars Aaron Eckhart, Ben Kingsley and Carrie-Ann Moss. Basically the movie is about a FBI that is tracking down a serial killer. Each actor does a solid job in their roles. The story is very dark and has many haunting images. The movie is much like Seven or Silence of the Lambs. If you enjoyed those films then you should give this movie a watch.

Thank You For Smoking 2005,  R)
Thank You For Smoking
This is a very smart and funny comedy. The film is about a spokesman who defends the rights for smokers and the tobacco companies. The film has a great story and a great lead character. Aaron Eckhart deliveres a great performance in his role as the spokesman. I love the scenes when he gets together with the alcohol and gun rights spokespeople for lunch. I like how they take a serious issue about smoking and health and make a fun film out of it. Well worth checking this film out.

Neverwas 2005,  PG-13)
Neverwas
This is a decent film. The story is about a psychiatrist who comes back to his hometown to work at a mental institution. He takes on a case of a man who believes he is a King of a land called Neverwas. This story was written by the psychiatrist own father who also spent time at the institution years ago. Great performances from Aaron Eckhart and Ian McKellen. Also small roles from William Hurt, Nick Nolte and Brittany Murphy. The film is decent. The only part I didn't understand was the ending. They did not explain how the psychiatrist save Neverwas. But other than that worth a one time watch.

The Dark Knight 2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
I originally stated that Batman Begins was the best Batman movie ever. I was wrong. The Dark Knight now has taken the #1 spot. Great performance all around by the cast. Bale again is a perfect Batman and Bruce Wayne. Ledger's performance as the Joker was amazing. Much like the dark character from the comics. Even Eckhart's as Two-Face/ Harvey Dent was great. Great story and action. You didn't want the movie to end. Director Christopher Nolan makes the film come to life. This film makes you feel your watching a great crime drama and not a superhero film. Again a great film. A must see.
