Iunno, I wish there was more historical context, and stuff actually about cocaine. It's just about the relationships among the coke cartel.

Dehumanization of non-whites

The new face of slavery. Thorough, but despite their coverage of white supremacy as the motivation for the war on drugs, I still feel like they were shying away from actual condemnation and were trying to be too gentle. Probably to avoid forcing white viewers to actually make eye contact with white supremacy in theirgovernemnt, communities, and in themselves. Confronting your own shittiness is upsetting.

But so is genocide, slavery and systemic violence and distruction of communities.
So.
Why don't white people AT LEAST have to take an "equal turn at feeling bad. (Here we're pretending that guilt and murder and weighed equally)(And that white people are the cause of the problem in the first place).
