i was very fortunate to see this when it opened on the friday before the oscars. bardem is wonderful and definitely oscar worthy. it says a lot when such a sad and depressing movie can hold your attention for nearly two and a half hours! great acting from all....wonderfully believable characters.....possibly the best movie of 2010. a must see! |

fine acting all around with interesting takes by blanchett as marion and isaac as prince/king john. great to see the wonderful max von sydow, pity he didn't get some better lines.....overall an enjoyable prequel to the legend of robin "of the hood"...even if it is a bit longwinded. recommended. |
