I guess the critics have been too harsh with Push. The main plot is indeed quite good, but the directing is so horrible that it just ruins the film. At the end of the day, I think Chirs Evans and Dakota Fanning make rather great partners. No no, I do not mean 'romantically', just that they're cool together, complementing each other. Btw, Camilla Belle's acting is so lousy one would wonder if she's an actress, or just a guest star.

What is with the mass amount of movies being made today with such good storylines (again, a man who lives in the world where nobody has the ability to say sth that isn't invented the first lie - where can you go wrong?!) and yet being lazily made. This film like other comedies have such funny plots which you would think anyone would be able to write and make a good comedy from it and we get a film like THIS.

Not a great movie in any means. But, really, I did enjoy myself watching this. The film's biggest flaw is its predictability; I was watching it and thinking to myself; 'Oh great! Now I know what deja vu is like.'
The cast is just Ok for a teen drama. Matthew Perry is one of the major factor that makes me see this (the even greater factor is due to the time slot), and not unexpectedly, all I see is Chandler (from the celebrated series F*R*I*E*N*D*S). Zac Efron does not disappoint me (well, actually, I did not expect much from him): his acting was way better than Troy from HSM.
The movie is clearly not the one that I'd recommend to everyone, but, all in all, it's quite enjoyable and entertaining.

You must understand how reluctant I was to spend my one and a half hour watching a vampire film. I mean, True Blood is one hell of a series, but what's the deal with all that Twilight bs?

It turned out I was worried for nothing, Daybreakers was much better than my anticipation. It ain't no romance with attractive (?!) vampires; it's just what one should expect from a vampire feature: BLOOD, BLOOD & BLOOD. (Caution: Don't watch while having any kind of food.)

I love how vampires is depicted in the movie. They're not supernatural beings; vampirism is more like a medical symptoms. Just like humans, they're also greedy, and stubborn, and horny, etc. Yet, if there's one word to describe them, they're BLOODTHIRSTY, literally. See for yourself, but beware of the amount of gore.

I was also captivated by the sunrise at the end. It's much more than just some cheesy symbolization of a new beginning. But again, so many spoilers already.
