Some of the movies I will be looking forward to seeing in 2009.!

Some of these movies have already been released in the US but are not released in the UK till 2009

1	Terminator Salvation 2009, PG-13) Being a huge fan of the first two The Terminator movies (the third one was a disgrace!) I was stunned that they were making another. However, it will just be one of those movies I have to watch no matter what the reviews are going to be like. Nothing can compare to the brilliance of the originals but, after watching the trailer, it actually looks quite decent enough and I love Christian Bale so it is something I have to see.
2	Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince 2009, PG-13) Arthur Weasley: Times like these, dark times, they do funny things to people. They can tear them apart. After watching the trailer I really couldn't wait to see this. But after finally watching it, I can't help but feel a little disappointed. Overall it was ok but the aspects they missed out of the book could have helped to make this a little better than it actually was. Professor Minerva McGonagall: Why is it that whenever something happens, you three are always involved? Ron Weasley: Believe me, professor, I've been asking myself that for the last six years.
3	Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2009, PG-13) Cant wait.!
4	Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (Ice Age 3) 2009, PG) I have no idea why but I loved the other two so got to check this one out.!
5	Gran Torino 2008, R) Will get round to reviewing this one at some point
6	Slumdog Millionaire 2008, R) Jamal Malik is one question away from winning 20 million rupees. How did he do it? a. He Cheated b. He's Lucky c. He's a Genius d. It is Written Review on it's way.
7	Seven Pounds 2008, PG-13) Ben Thomas: In seven days, God created the world. And in seven seconds, I shattered mine. I watched this mainly because I am a fan of Will Smith, if the lead had been played by a lesser-known actor I may have passed. The original trailer looked decent but upon reading several bad reviews, I decided to wait to see this, and I am glad I did not waste my time rushing out to see it. The first half of the movie was incredibly dull and boring the only reason I never switched it off was because I wanted to know how the rest of the plot was going to pan out. The second half of the movie thankfully picks up a little but it is all a little too late. A lot more passion and emotion in the beginning of the movie would have helped overall, a less than average performance from Smith. Would I watch this again? Hell No! Ben Thomas: I did something really bad once and I'm never gonna be the same!
8	The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 2008, PG-13) The plot sounds incredibly bizarre, but the trailer looked amazing.!
9	The Spirit 2008, PG-13) The Spirit: My city, I can not deny her. My city screams. She is my mother. She is my lover, and I am her Spirit. Firstly, I think I should start of by saying I actually wanted to watch some of Frank Millers other work like Sin City or 300 before watching this. Having watched it anyway, I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. I was left feeling disappointed more than anything else, as throughout the entire movie I felt like I was just waiting for it to get better but it never did I just found myself waiting for it to be over as soon as possible and I was glad when it was. The Spirit: Somebody find me a tie! I don't care what kind, but by God, it had better be red! The acting was reasonable yet at times irritating; yes, I even found Samuel L. Jackson's performance annoying. Nevertheless, the acting was not the only aspect that left me feeling irritated some scenes particularly the ones with the 'The Spirit' narrating were just plain annoying. Even more so, because I loved the comic book style of the movie it was great to watch, this had potential to be better than it was but turned out to be dull and unrealistic. Overall, I was left feeling bored on some occasions but vaguely entertained in some parts although not enough for me to want to see this again, at one point I actually wished I had stayed home and watched Sin City. The Spirit: "What are you?" That's what the woman asked me. Am I some sort of ghost? I still move. I still breathe. I'm still alive.
10	Watchmen 2009, R) Rorschach: The world will look up and shout "Save us!"... And I'll whisper "No." Looks pretty good, could be worth checking out.
11	Valkyrie 2008, PG-13) Trailer does not look too bad could be worth checking out.
12	Bedtime Stories 2008, PG) Im not a huge Adam Sandler fan and I also cannot stand Russell Brand, but this does not seem too bad so could be work checking out at some point.
13	Marley & Me 2008, PG) Hmmm looks like another typical movie from Jennifer Aniston, though the trailer was not to bad, certainly seems to be appealing so could be worth checking out at some point.
14	Bolt 2008, PG) Could be worth checking out at some point.
15	Fantastic Mr. Fox 2009, PG) Definitely have to see this one as it was one of my favourite Roald Dahl books when I was a kid.

17	The Wrestler 2008, R) Trailer doesn't look too bad so could be worth checking out at some point.
18	Push 2009, PG-13) Kinda reminds me a of the series Heroes, the trailer appears to looks decent enough so could be worth checking out.
19	2012 2009, PG-13) The plot consists of the disastrous events ultimately leading to the end of the world. Sounds like a decent movie right? Wrong! The world does not even end! I hate almost everything about this movie. The acting was terrible and I actually wanted the characters to die, the dialogue was that poor. I did like Woody Harrelson's character though. The special effects at times were pleasing but at other times looked ridiculous. Would I watch this again? FUCK NO! Overall, I found this cheesy and pathetic, not something I am interested in seeing again.

34	Fast & Furious 2009, PG-13) Hmmm im not to sure what I think of this after watching the trailer. It looked shit and well stupid! Maybe I hated it because the whole roof top chase scene was a little to Bourne-esque. Im hoping the actually movie is a lot better, will have to wait and see.

After the reading, some of the reviews this movie sounds terrible but the trailer appears to be decent enough. A few cheap laughs here and there it cannot be that bad can it? Will have to wait and see.

48	Tekken 2010, R) I never normally want to see movies that were originally computer games. Mainly because I have never played the games, so I have no interest in them. But I actually remember this from my childhood so it could be worth checking out at some point, might change my mind once I have seen the trailer but for now this is something I want to see.
49	Inglourious Basterds 2009, R) Brand Pitt and Quentin Trantino no need to say anymore! Trailer looked great cant wait!

51	Fighting 2009, PG-13) Hmmm only PG-13? Looks a little predictable but decent enough so could be worth checking out.
52	Astro Boy (AstroBoy) 2009, PG) Hmmm sounds decent enough may need to check out the trailer first but could be worth a viewing will have to wait and see.
53	Notorious 2009, R) Yes, I want to see this! I have my reasons one of which is I think the soundtrack would sound great at the movies. I doubt I will pay to see it but I still want to check this out at some point.
54	I Love You, Man 2009, R) Trailer looked hilarious I just hope those were not the best bits of the movie, will have to wait and see.

59	X-Men Origins - Wolverine 2009, PG-13) The trailer was not too bad and after watching X-Men, I was really looking forward to this. But I have heard it's absolutely terrible and judging from other reviews it looks pretty likely that this is going to be shit. I am extremely gutted, this could have been a great movie. Will have to just wait and see how bad it really is. ;(

67	The Last House on the Left 2009, R) Hmmm like many other movies, it looks like the best parts of the movie are shown in the trailer, which is incredibly annoying. One thing that puts me off about this movie is Garret Dillahunt I did not like him much in The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. With that said the movie did not look to bad so could be worth checking out at some point. But it is not something I would pay to see so mostly likely to catch it when im flicking through the channels. The original may be worth checking out too.
