Pink Floyd - The Wall 1982,  R)
Pink Floyd - The Wall
An amazing film! It combines animation and live action, it's like a music video movie, and it's got the best Pink Floyd music. I love it.
2
Forbidden Zone 1982,  R)
Forbidden Zone
Such a crazy movie, I can hardly describe it, you just have to see it.
3
Vincent 1982,  G)
Vincent
Fantastic early Burton film! Poetic with beautiful clay animation. Plus, Vincent Price!
4
Creepshow 1982,  R)
Creepshow
A classic horror stories movie from Romero and King, and they're from the old tales from the crypt comics, how could you go wrong? I know I enjoyed this movie.
5
Q: The Winged Serpent 1982,  R)
Q: The Winged Serpent
A dragon in modern times eating people sounds like a dumb idea, but this movie has enough story and 80s style gore to entice fans of the horror genre. Well, it's not that great, but I really liked this movie for some reason.

Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan 1982,  PG)
Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan
A classic 80s movie, if you love the 80s you have to see it. It's not my favourite Star Trek movie, but it's a very well done film.
7
The Entity 1982,  R)
The Entity
I loved this movie, and it's based on a true story, which makes it even more powerful to watch. I think this is the best movie I've seen about parapsychology and paranormal phenomenon. It's got everything, horror, drama, romance, excitement, and even a bit of comedy. I was really impressed. The special effects are even beyond belief, they were incredibly realistic and horrifying, Winston is a genius. Of course, the story is about the age old fight to get people to believe in the paranormal/supernatural world around us. This is a must see movie for paranormal horror movie fans. I really loved this movie.

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
If you haven't seen this movie, there's something wrong with you.
9
The Dark Crystal 1982,  PG)
The Dark Crystal
This is a very interesting fantasy movie, but it's all puppets, which gets a bit boring at times.
10
Gandhi 1982,  PG)
Gandhi
Since I haven't seen any other movies about Gandhi, I can't say this is the best one, but it is the most popular film about him. If you're even slightly interested in knowing about Gandhi, this movie is a great place to start. It's very well made and well acted. A really good movie.
11
TRON 1982,  PG)
TRON
Awesome visual effects for 1982, the story is good, it could have been a bit more exciting, but I still like it.
12
The Living Dead Girl (La Morte vivante) 1982,  Unrated)
13
The Pirate Movie 1982,  PG)
The Pirate Movie
Over the top musical comedy that's totally silly and delightful to watch. Don't take it seriously, though, it's just a fun movie.
14
The Last Horror Film (Fanatic) (Fanatical Extreme) 1982,  R)
15
Class of 1984 1981,  R)
Class of 1984
I loved Roddy McDowall in this movie, I wanted him to be the main character, he was more interesting. The main character's problems at the school are almost exactly like those of the teacher in the movie, Blackboard Jungle, so he was a pretty mediocre character, it was all the other characters who made the story good. I did wish that he could have found some way to get through to the students who were causing trouble the way they do in other teacher movies, but this movie is different, and I liked that.
16
Eating Raoul 1982,  R)
Eating Raoul
Yes, this is a cult classic. It's hilarious. Good actors, good story, and outrageous comedy. I really loved this movie, but the ending was predictable which kind of disappointed me. Overall a great movie, though, I highly recommend seeing it.
17
Poltergeist 1982,  PG)
Poltergeist
Be careful watching this movie, it's haunted! I'm afraid for the filmmakers who will attempt to remake this movie. I've heard people say they either dislike or like the movie, I like it. I don't know if anyone loves it, but it is a pretty creepy movie and the stories surrounding the fillmmaking add to that creepiness.
18
Annie 1981,  PG)
Annie
I think the 1982 version of Annie was the best. For one, all the great actors: Carol Burnett, Albert Finney, and Time Curry! Plus, it's directed by John Huston. It's a very well made movie, great songs and dances, story, etc.
19
The Slumber Party Massacre 1982,  R)
The Slumber Party Massacre
Loved it! All the crazy, sometimes hilarious, kills, and the fantastic ending. Don't miss it. This is not an ordinary slasher flick.
20
Fast Times At Ridgemont High 1982,  R)
Fast Times At Ridgemont High
I really love this movie except for one thing which really gets on my nerves: Stacy, the main character, maybe it is just that I don't like Leigh, but she doesn't seem to display enough emotion, for all the stuff her character goes through in this movie, I expect more from her. I mean, she has an abortion, for goodness sakes! You'd think murdering an unborn child would illicit some sort of emotional response in her, but no she says she's fine and goes home, and sheds not one tear. Other than that, I really liked the rest of the characters, the movie is really funny, and it's an 80s classic! Watch this movie for yourself, I could talk about it all day, but watch and see what you think.

Airplane 2 - The Sequel 1982,  PG)
Airplane 2 - The Sequel
Although this sequel is hilarious, the story isn't very different from the first movie. This one just has more celebrities, like William Shatner and Sonny Bono. If you loved the first movie, you will want to see this one, but if you want to see something different from the first airplane look elsewhere.
26
Basket Case 1982,  R)
27
Zapped! 1982,  R)
Zapped!
This movie is a lot of fun, it's hilarious to see the two stars of Charles in Charge in high school growing pot and messing around with girls and getting into trouble! Sure the plot sounds stupid like some remake or spoof of Carrie gone wrong, but it doesn't have that feel at all when you watch it, and all the little referential jokes are really very funny and I don't think Carrie is even one of them. The cast is great and there are a lot of really hilarious things that happen in this movie, I loved watching it, it's a lot of fun.

Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid 1982,  PG)
Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid
Amazing how they mixed the old movies into this movie the way they did, it's worth seeing just because of that.
29
Deathtrap 1982,  PG)
30
Pandemonium 1982,  PG)

Murder Is Easy 1981,  Unrated)
Murder Is Easy
This TV movie could have been in theatres, I don't know why it wasn't. Bixby is cute as the American who just has to figure out who the killer is because it defies his theory of probability and chance or whatever. The movie is exciting, it's got action, and trying to figure out the mystery is part of the fun.
32
Night Shift 1982,  R)

Bugs Bunny's 3rd Movie: 1001 Rabbit Tales 1982,  G)

One From The Heart 1982,  R)
One From The Heart
Although it is quite interesting that they were able to film an entire movie on a stage in a theater, I can't decide weather that was a good idea or not. On one hand, the whole movie feels really claustrophobic and everything looks fake. On the other hand, the fake sets enhance the feelings of Garr's character, and the idea that Las Vegas is a fake city. Another device I don't think worked well was the Tom Waits songs sung while the characters were either lying around, walking around, or just sitting around. Why couldn't they sing themselves like in an ordinary musical? They just looked lazy. I loved the part where Raul Julia gets to sing and dance with Terri Garr, it was very romantic. Plus, the ending is predictable, but unexplained. There were a lot of things I liked about this movie, but some things that I didn't like. You just have to see it for yourself.

Escape Artist 1982,  PG)
Escape Artist
This movie has an amazing collection of great actors: Raul Julia, Teri Garr, Desi Arnaz, Elizabeth Daily, M. Emmet Walsh. But then the whole movie is more amazing than I can believe. Sometimes this magic movie got me confused as to what was happening on screen, especially in key scenes. And is it just me or does the main character, played by O'Neal, look younger than his character is supposed to be? I found out he was about 16 when they made the movie, but he looks 12 or 13. It was interesting to see Raul Julia as Desi Arnaz's son, and him acting like a kid, but I wanted to see more of him. Overall, a so-so movie, but it is cute, I'll give it that.

The Secret of NIMH 1982,  G)

They Call Me Bruce? 1982,  PG)

Lo Squartatore di New York (The New York Ripper) 1982,  Unrated)
Lo Squartatore di New York (The New York Ripper)
This movie starts out very strange and mysterious and confusing, the identity of the killer is very hard to figure out, I didn't know until the end. The end was actually incredibly sad and unexpected, and I thought that was cool, but the rest of the movie was kind of annoying. This movie could have been better.

Britannia Hospital 1982,  R)
42
Conan the Barbarian 1982,  R)
43
The Last Unicorn 1982,  G)
44
The Toy 1982,  PG)
The Toy
I still can't believe they got away with this movie, they sure wouldn't today. What's good about this movie? well, Richard Pryor is in it, there are some funny scenes, and that's about it.
45
The Thing 1982,  Unrated)
46
Android 1982,  PG)
47
Blade Runner 1982,  R)
Blade Runner
I am really undecided about this movie, I should probably rewatch it sometime. I think it has an awesome look to it, but it was so slow moving I fell asleep watching it and forgot what the story was. I caught the ending, but it wasn't that great.
48
Hanky Panky 1982,  PG)
Hanky Panky
This movie has a good cast, and it's great to see Wilder and Radner working together to slove a mystery, but this movie isn't that good. It just isn't funny. I mean there are a couple of funny things in the middle and towards the end of the movie, but it needs a lot more comedy in the script since it stars comedians. This movie isn't all bad, though, the actors do a good job with the story and it's an interesting adventure. Overall, it's just an okay movie, not good but not bad either.
49
Amityville II: The Possession 1982,  R)
Amityville II: The Possession
An okay movie, but it was like a combination of Amityville, The Exorcist, and Evil Dead. The plot was structured in a strange way, I mean the whole family is killed off in the middle of the movie! I wasn't expecting that. This movie is pretty strange even for a horror movie. I wouldn't suggest seeing this movie.
50
Swamp Thing 1982,  PG)
51
Lady Chatterley's Lover 1981,  R)
Lady Chatterley's Lover
For a movie that's 105 minutes long, there isn't much going on. The movie could have been half as long and told the same story. It is a very romantic story, but her husband was a really strange guy, I wouldn't want to be with him either. Overall, an average romantic drama, with maybe a little more explicit sex than other 80s movies, but nothing spectacular.
52
Tempest 1982,  PG-13)
53
48 HRS 1982,  R)
54
Best Friends 1982,  PG)
Best Friends
This movie has some good, funny, dramatic scenes, but for the rest of the movie it's predictable, boring, and unfunny. I'm not sure that Reynolds and Hawn made a good team in this movie either. The rest of the cast was good, and very realistic, but the two of them not so much. This movie starts to get dull and feels long by about the middle of the film. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are a big fan of one of them.
55
Smithereens 1982,  R)
56
A Stranger Is Watching 1982,  R)

Jinxed 1982,  R)
59
The House Where Evil Dwells 1982,  R)
60
Still of the Night 1982,  PG)
Still of the Night
A so-so movie, I found it hard to watch because of the stupid digital TV, it kept loosing the signal. Other than that, I didn't see anything special about this movie at all. It's just another mystery movie, and I'm not even sure I understood the ending.
61
Burden of Dreams 1982,  R)
62
P.K. and the Kid 1987,  PG-13)
P.K. and the Kid
Good acting from Ringwald as usual, but the story could use some work. I mean, arm wrestling competitions? Really? It's kinda silly at times. They had good drama with Ringwald's character running away from her abusive stepfather, but then Le Mat's character's arm wrestling scenes just get in the way! Overall, I am glad to have found the video of this so I could see another great 80s performance from Molly Ringwald!
63
Cat People 1982,  R)
Cat People
A good cast, but a bad movie. The original is much better, this remake is all about sex. Plus, it's redundant, slow, and much too long. Although there is some blood and gore, it's not scary enough to be a horror movie, it's just a bad thriller. It's made well and it's got style, but the story is annoying and very confusing towards the end, and I didn't care for it. overall, not a good remake.
64
Visiting Hours 1982,  R)
65
National Lampoon's Class Reunion 1982,  R)
National Lampoon's Class Reunion
Seeing as this movie was written by John Hughes, I expected more from it. An horror comedy isn't really his kind of movie anyway, though. Since it is a national lampoon movie, it is a stupid spoof of slasher movies. There wasn't much humor in the gags, but it is a zany, quirky, raunchy type of comedy, and if you like that, you may find this movie enjoyable for a while at least. Overall, it could have been a lot better.
66
Mysterious Stranger 1982,  Unrated)
Mysterious Stranger
I understand that this was based on a story from Mark Twain, but it's a silly story and this movie probably doesn't do it justice. In the first place I was confused by the time jumping, is he a time traveler or not? It's not really clear, they just chalk it all up to magic and dreams or something like that. Plus, this is a TV movie, so it looks like it was made for TV. I wouldn't recommend watching this.
67
Grease 2 1982,  PG)
Grease 2
A stupid remake to cash in on the fans of the first movie. I mean, really, the songs don't even make sense!
68
Big Meat Eater 1982,  R)
69
The Loveless (Breakdown) 1982,  R)
The Loveless (Breakdown)
What were they thinking when they picked this script? Or maybe it was the directors? I don't know, but this movie doesn't have enough excitement to be a good biker movie, and it doesn't have enough drama to be a good drama either. Actually nothing happens at all until the end of the movie when you realize there was a story going on, it's just that it isn't presented to the audience. I really did not like this movie.
70
Summer Lovers 1982,  R)
71
Friday the 13th Part 3 1982,  R)
72
That Championship Season 1982,  R)
73
Mazes and Monsters 1982,  PG)
74
Humongous 1982,  R)
Humongous
Absolutely horrible film, I sold my video of it for a couple cents, it wasn't even worth that much. Not only a bad story, but also bad acting, directing, lighting, cinematography, sound...well let's just say it didn't have much going for it.
75
La Guerre du Feu (Quest for Fire) (The War of Fire) 1981,  R)
La Guerre du Feu (Quest for Fire) (The War of Fire)
What was the point of this movie? What was this? I had no idea what was going on. I hate these types of movies.
