Jones has to venture to vast places such as Nepal and Egypt to find this artifact. However, he will have to fight his enemy Renee Belloq and a band of Nazis in order to reach it.
Review: Without doubt one of the greatest movies of all time and an absolutely phenomenal film.More than just a tribute to the 1930´s adventure serials,Raiders of the Lost Ark changed the adventure genre forever.I watched Raiders back at 2005 on DVD and became one of my all favorite movies.Personally,no other movie will beat this classic in my opinion and Raiders of the Lost Ark has everything i love in a movie:action, comedy, great scenes and a memorable character. This is the movie that will never die.The audience was introduced to one of the most iconic heroes of film history:Indiana Jones.
Harrison Ford delivers an amazing and memorable perfomance as Indiana Jones, the daredevil archaeologist who is assigned by the US Army to find the Ark of the Covenant before the nazis.Jones gets himself into a race against time and he must survive traps, poison and snakes to retreave the Ark.Harrison Ford is a wonderfull choice to the role that turned him into a superstar. With his charm, charisma, sense of humour and attitude,Harrison makes Indiana Jones a character who can stand of his own, becoming one of the most memorable heroes of film history.Harrison Ford is and will always be Indiana Jones.Karen Allen is fantastic as Marion Ravenwood,Indy´s old flame who joins our hero into the quest for the Ark.I like Marion because she´s preety tough and she can handle herself without help and Karen fits up to the role wonderfully.Paul Freeman is great as René Belloq,Indy´s nemesis who also wants the Ark aswell.Belloq is pratically just like Indy but he ´s more greedy. The rest of the cast is fantastic including Ronald Lacey as Toht,John Rhys Davies as Sallah and Denholm Elliot as Marcus Brody.
Steven Spielberg s direction is absolutely amazing and inspiring, which made Raiders of the Lost Ark the classic that it is today.Spielberg is the greatest filmmaker of all time and he managed to make a memorable adrenaline rush that will still conquer the audience for many years and i should give the credit to George Lucas for imagining a great story and an amazing hero.
Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of the greatest movies of all time and honestly it won t have another movie that can have the energy and excitement of this amazing classic. An amazing rollercoaster ride,Raiders of the Lost Ark is a timeless masterpiece, courtesy of Steven Spielberg.
Director:Steven Spielberg Cast:Henry Thomas,Drew Barrymore,Peter Coyote,Dee Wallace Genre:Fantasy,Science Fiction Year of release:1982 Running Time:112 minutes
Plot: While visiting the Earth at Night, a group of alien botanists is discovered and disturbed by an approaching human task force. Because of the more than hasty take-off, one of the visitors is left behind. The little alien finds himself all alone on a very strange planet. Fortunately, the extra-terrestrial soon finds a friend and emotional companion in 10-year-old Elliot, who discovered him looking for food in his family's garden shed. While E.T. slowly gets acquainted with Elliot's brother Michael, his sister Gertie as well as with Earth customs, members of the task force work day and night to track down the whereabouts of Earth's first visitor from Outer Space. The wish to go home again is strong in E.T., and after being able to communicate with Elliot and the others, E.T. starts building an improvised device to send a message home for his folks to come and pick him up. But before long, E.T. gets seriously sick, and because of his special connection to Elliot, the young boy suffers, too. The situation gets critical when the task force finally intervenes. By then, all help may already be too late, and there's no alien spaceship in sight.
Review: E.T:The Extraterrestial is one of the beautifull and beloved films of all time that has a special place in the heart of a generation of audiences.I love E.T since i was a kid and i got a chance to rewatch this stunning classic and boy i just want to cry because E.T has a unique magic and brilliance that touches in everybody s heart. The story of a friendship of a young boy and a alien is now part of the cinematic history and ET is the kind of movie that will forever.
Henry Thomas delivers a memorable perfomance as Elliott, the little boy who finds ET and becomes friendly of the beloved alien.Few child actors wouldn t pull off the role like Thomas did because he s just a kid like everybody else but he s very loyal to his friends. The scenes between ET and Elliot are absolutely heartbreaking because we can feel the love and the connection between them.Drew Barrymore was so cute as Gerty,Elliott s little. She was a cutey back then(she still is) and is definetly her most memorable role of her career. The real star of the movie is definetly ET,the most beloved alien of all time.E.T is one of my favorite movie creatures because he has a cuteness and innocence that conquers you immediately. He may be a puppet but E.T has a lot of soul that will make the audience fall in love with him.
Steven Spielberg delivers here one of his greatest movies and the most beloved of his legendary career.Spielberg brings a unique magic and brilliance to the movie that made ET a wonderfull cinematic masterpiece.Only Spielberg would make a beautifull movie like E.T because he s the greatest movie director of all time.
E.T:The Extraterrestial has a special place in my heart and is one of the greatest movies of all time and Spielberg s best movie next to Jaws,Raiders of the Lost Ark,Jurassic Park and Saving Private Ryan.E.T will live forever and it won t be a magical and beautifull like this classic for a long time.
Director:James Cameron Cast:Sigourney Weaver,Michael Biehn,Lance Henriksen,Carrie Hehn Genre:Action,Science Fiction Year of release:1986 Running Time:137 minutes
Plot: Ellen Ripley, the sole survivor of the alien attack on the mining ship Nostromo, awakens half a century later when she is found by a salvage ship. The welcome given to her by the "Company" officials is far from warm, since they refuse to believe her discovery of alien existence and strip her off her flight officer's license. Ripley also discovers, much to her horror, that the planet LV-426 where her crew had encountered an alien species for the first time, is now colonized by the company. But when all contact from the planet is lost Ripley is called back into action again as an advisor to a team of tough space marines with lots of firepower. To get rid of her recurrent nightmares about the alien creature, Ripley prepares for a final battle with the monsters - and this time, there are hundreds of them out there.
Review: The sequels can be good like their predecessors, better or worse but in the case of Aliens, the sequel of Ridley Scott s sci fi thriller,is just as good as the original. While Alien is a claustrophobic thriller,Aliens is a explosive, heartpouding adrenaline rush that grabs the audience every single minute.24 years later,Aliens is still one of the greatest sequels ever made that will never be beaten.
Sigourney Weaver delivers once again an amazing perfomance as Ellen Ripley, the woman who survived the attack of the alien in the first movie.57 years later,Ripley was rescued by the company but when she related what happened to the crew, noboby believes in her story. When the colonists of LV 426 dissapeared,Ripley reluctantly teams up with a group of marines to investigate but they re about to face this time an army of aliens.Sigourney delivers in my opinion one of the greatest perfomances of her career with a stronger and tougher Ripley like no one has ever seen before. With her mix of toughness and vulnerability,Weaver turned Ripley to the most iconic female hero of all time and opening doors in the action genre other actresses like Angelina Jolie of Geena Davis.Michael Biehn was great as Hicks, one of the members of Marine Corps but he was better in The Terminator.Carrie Hehn was amazing as Newt and the relationship between them is on of the best things of the movie.Bill Paxton is freaking awesome as Hudson, one of the best characters in the movie and he totally stole it big time.
James Cameron made a sequel very faithfull to the original and at the same time taking the story to a whole new direction.Cameron is one of the greatest directors of all time and he proved it over and over again from The Terminator to Avatar.Cameron is indeed the master of sequels.
Aliens is the exampe how a great sequel can become a great movie and just like the first movie,is a timeless classic, not to mention, one of the greatest action-sci fi movies ever made, courtesy of James Cameron.
Director:Ridley Scott Cast:Harrison Ford,Sean Young,Rutger Hauer,Edward James Olmos Genre:Science Fiction Year of release:1982 Running Time:117 minutes
Plot: Advances in genetic technology have allowed scientists to create sophisticated biologically-engineered humanoid beings called "replicants". Following a violent revolt that takes place "off world," replicants are declared illegal on Earth. In Los Angeles, November 2019, Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is called out of retirement when a fellow Blade Runner, Holden (Morgan Paull) is shot administering a Voight-Kampff test to Leon (Brion James), an escaped replicant. A reluctant Deckard is brought to his old boss Bryant (M. Emmet Walsh), who informs him that the recent escape of Nexus-6 replicants is the worst yet. He orders Deckard to eliminate the four replicants, a process referred to as "retirement".
Review: Blade Runner is one of the movies that changed my life forever. This futuristic thriller became one of the most influential movies not only of science fiction but of cinematic history, inspiring other movies like The Matrix and The 5th Element.I first watched Blade Runner when i was a kid.I didn t understand the story but the darkness and the visual effects grabed me a lot. Some people don t understand Blade Runner but i now understand the message of the film.Is about being human and what makes us being human, showing the dark side of humanity.Blade Runner remains a timeless classic that will never die.
Harrison Ford delivers a fantastic perfomance as Deckard, the ex-cop who is asigned to kill fugitve replicants.Ford confessed that Blade Runner is the most complicated movie he s ever done in his brilliant career.Deckard is very different from Han Solo and Indiana Jones but Harrison nailed the part perfectly. He gives such a charm and vulnerability to Deckard that makes his perfomance very realistic. For me,is Harrison s best perfomance and i couldn t imagine this movie without him.Sean Young is absolutely stunning as Rachael and her perfomance is preety decent. She s a mystery in the beggining because we question if she s or not a replicant. The chemistry between Deckard and Rachael is really electrifying and a must see aswell.Rutger Hauer is the best actor in the movie with his fantastic perfomance as the leader of the replicants,Roy Batty. That perfomance is truly deserfull of a Oscar.Hauer dominates the movie specially in his remarkable speech in the ending, probably one of the best endings ever made.Edward James Olmos didn t show up a lot but his presence is very powefull and so his perfomance. We also see Daryl Hannah for the first time as Pris but she was even better in Kill Bill.
Ridley Scott directs his most remarkable masterpiece, setting a new standard in science fiction just like he did with Alien in 1979.Scott directs masterfully this movie, showing a darker side of his personality that i could feel.Blade Runner shows how great director Ridley Scott is and he showed it with Thelma and Louise and Gladiator.
Blade Runner will go down in history as one of the greatest masterpieces of science fiction along 2001,Star Wars and Alien. This is such a phenomenal movie that will live on forever no matter how many years.Thank you Ridley Scott on creating one of the greatest movies of all time.Masterpiece.

Review: I knew Back to the Future but i wasn t interested because i thought it was boring. After i bought the movie and watched it,i was like:Holy crap, this movie is fun.Back to the Future is one of the funniest and entertaining movies of all time in the same level of Star Wars,Indiana Jones and Ghostbusters and a great start of one of the greatest trilogies of all time.Back to the Future is now one of my favorite movies and there s no way they ll make a fun movie as this amazing classic.25 years later,Back to the Future is one of the most popular movies of all time.
Michael J.Fox delivers an unforgettable perfomance as Marty McFly,the teenager who accidentally travels back to 1955 and gets involved into a hilarious adventure in the 50 s.Fox is one of the funniest actors ever and i couldn t imagine another actor playing Marty.Marty is a kid like anyone but he has a unique charisma and sense of humour.Michael will always be Marty and i wish him well.Christopher Lloyd IS Doc Emmett Brown. He s everybody favorite mad scientist and also brings a great presence in the movie and the sequels.Fox and Lloyd have a great chemistry, which is the best thing of the series. The other actors were fantastic like Crispin Glover as George McFly and Lea Thompson as Lorraine. It was funny watching her having a crush on her future son.
Robert Zemeckis s direction is magical and he delivers an amazing energy in the movie that makes the audience watching Back to the Future over and over agan. The main star of the movie is definetly the time machine, the legendary Delorean.
Back to the Future is one of the greatest movies of all time and of the 80 s.I ll never get tired of this movie too soon.It won t be another film that can bring the excitement and fun just like Back to Future did.Happy birthday,Back to the Future.
"Listen and understand! That Terminator is out there. It can t be bargained with,it can t be reasoned with.It doesn t feel pitty or remorse or fear and absolutely will not stop.Ever!Untill you re dead."-Kyle Reese
Director:James Cameron Cast:Arnold Schwarzenegger,Linda Hamilton,Michael Biehn,Paul Winfield Genre:Action,Science Fiction Year of release:1984 Running Time:108 minutes
Plot: In the future, Skynet, a computer system fights a losing war against the humans who built it and who it nearly exterminated. Just before being destroyed, Skynet sends a Terminator back in time to kill Sarah, the mother to be of John Connor, the Leader of the human resistance. The terminator can pass for human, is nearly indestructible, and has only one mission, killing Sarah Connor. One soldier is sent back to protect her from the killing machine. He must find Sarah before the Terminator can carry out it's mission.
Review: In the history of cinema, few films were able to make a huge impact in film history but in the 80 s,one movie changed the way movies are made and that movie is called The Terminator.I was familiar with the series thanks to Terminator 2:Judgement Day and the original used to scare the shit out of me when i was a kid.But years later,i started to enjoy this amazing sci fi classic and althought T2 is more beloved,The Terminator is and will always be one of the greatest movies ever made.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is absolutely memorable as future s deadliest killing machine,The Terminator.Terminator is actually a cyborg surrounded by living tissues created by Skynet who is sent to the year of 1984 with the mission of killing Sarah Connor, the future mother of John Connor, the leader of the human ressistence. The Terminator proves to be indestructible and it will not stop until the mission is complet.Schwarzenegger is perfect of the role because he makes The Terminator someone who looks very dangerous and unstoppable and boy,Arnie is very scary.Ít was kinda cool to see Arnie as the villain and i couldn t imagine another actor playing The Terminator.Michael Biehn is brilliant as Kyle Reese,a young soldier who is sent back through time to protect Sarah from the cyborg.Biehn s perfomance was fantastic because he was able to mix the action with the emotion of the character.I think Michael Biehn is better in Terminator than in Aliens.Linda Hamilton is fantastic as Sarah Connor.I like her because she s not the typical lady in distress but someone who s starts as a normal person who suddenly becomes the victim but in the end she becomes very strong.
James Cameron makes his debut with a bang and boy only Cameron was able to create such an amazing and original movie. The visual effects may not be great but who cares? The most important is the story.Cameron left his mark in cinema as one of the most visionary directors of all time.
The Terminator is one of best movies of the 80 s and a landmark in science fiction. An timeless masterpiece that is worth to watch and gets better everytime.Masterpiece of James Cameron.

Review: Die Hard is the movie that changed a genre forever back in 1988 and until today this amazing classic still thrills the audience.I was familiar with Die Hard because i first watched the sequels but i was really forward to see the beggining of the adventures of John McClane and i had that shot back in 2003 when i watched Die Hard for the first time.It really grabed me for the beggining and i couldn t get tired of this amazing film with a lot of action and pure adrenaline.Die Hard is such a spectacular ride that will take you to a 40 store of sheer adventure.
Bruce Willis delivers an oustanding perfomance as John McClane, a New York cop who travels to Los Angeles with the intention of spending a nice and quiet Christmas with his separated wife Holly. When a group of terrorists takes control of Nakatomi Plaza, everybody is held hostage except McClane, who escapes without any suspicion.Finding himself in a complicated situation,John must put his life on the line to save the hostages, kill the terrorists and regain his wife s love.Willis is perfect for the role who made him a superstar because he brings such a realism and vulnerabillity to McClane in a way not even Arnie or Sly couldn t bring.Even in some tough situations,McClane always keeps his sense of humour. After this experience,John McClane will love to spend a nice christmas at home.Alan Rickman is absolutely brilliant as Hans Gruber, the best villian of the series and also of movie history.Rickman doesn t make Gruber the typical villain. He s basically a inteligent and respectfull man who has a purpose:money and he won t allow that anyone gets in his way but the last thing he would expect is John McClane.Alan Rickman is such a great actor and when comes to badguys,he s the best.Bonnie Bedellia was great as Holly Gennero,John s wife. She has a lot of strenght for someone who s not the typical lady in distress.Alexander Godunov is fantastic as Karl,Hans Gruber s relentless hencman. He has one of nastiest death scenes when McClane hangs his neck with a steel chain. That s badass.
John McTiernan is one of the most influential action directors of all time and Die Hard shows McTiernan at his best. His direction was absolutely brilliant on mixing the action, the suspense and the comedy with Michael Kamen s oustanding score as one of the best things of the movie.
Die Hard is one of the greatest and the most influential action movies of all time that is a landmark of the genre. One of my all time action movies of all time along Mad Max:The Road Warrior,Lethal Weapon,Predator and Aliens,Die Hard is a classic adrenaline rush.

The two, along with their other friends, meet Professor Keating, their new English teacher, who tells them of the Dead Poets Society, and encourages them to go against the status quo. Each, in their own way, does this, and are changed for life.
Review: Dead Poet Society is one of the movies that really changed my life.I first saw it at school and i absolutely loved it.Until today,Dead Poet Sociey is one of the most brilliant, beautifull and inspiring films ever made with a wonderfull story set in a world of rules but also sends a power full message:making our lifes extraordinary.
Robin Williams delivers a brilliant perfomance as John Keating, the new professor of English Literature in the prestiged Welton School.Unlike his demanded colleagues,Keating s unusual teaching methods will change his students forever.Robin Williams is one of the funniest actor of all time but he has a incredible dramaic abilitly and he gives here one of the his best perfomances.John Keating is the kind of teacher i would love to have.Ethan Hawk was fantastic as Todd Anderson,a shy young man who is also inspired by Keating, becoming a real person,Hawke was great ,s tarting a great career with other movies like Gattaca and Training Day.Robert Sean Leonard was brilliant as Neil Perry,Todd s best friend who is always controlled by his demanding father.Leonard was brilliant and the suicide scene is the msot shocking scene of the movie.
Peter Weir did a wonderfull job on directing the movie, making Dead Poet Society a cinematic masterpiece.I wasn t familiar with Weir but he did make some preety good films like The Witness and Mosquito Coast. and Dead Poet Society is his best work by far.
Dead Poet Society is a wonderfull movie and very inspiring. One of the greatest classics of film history,Dead Poet Society has already a special place in the lifes of moviegoers of the every generation.Masterpiece.

Review: I love Batman since i was a kid and he s one of greatest super heroes of all time next to Superman and Spider-Man.I know Batman better than the people who doesn t read comics or they believe that The Dark Knight is the best Batman movie ever made but for me Tim Burton s oustanding adaptation is a amazing classic and honors the true spirit of Bob Kane s legendary hero.Batman is the most exciting of all Batman movies and a spectacular ride.
Michael Keaton is absolutely fantastic as Batman/Bruce Wayne and he was impressive. His choice was so contorversial that the fans were so enraged because they though he would suck as Batman but they were wrong.Keaton s perfomance was great because he makes Batman a dark, mysterious and tortured character with a touch of madness and realism.Keaton brings a lot of intenisty to Batman and he s such a badass with the bat suit.Michael Keaton portrayed the real Batman of the comics just like Chirstian Bale and he s simply fantastic.Jack Nicholson dominates the entire movie as The Joker and he was perfect because The Joker is the kind of villain we love to hate and laugh too.Nicholson s perfomance was amazing and no matter how Heath Ledger was great in TDK,Nicholson was the most faithfull to the comics.Jack Nicholson is a true showstopper.I love Kim Basinger as Vicky Vale and she was stunning. She and Keaton had a great chemistry specially in the Bat Cave scene when she learns the truth about Bruce Wayne.
Tim Burton brings his unique dark vision to the world of Batman and he was the perfect director on bringing the Caped Crusader to the screen.Burton s one of few directors who has such a great and unique visions in his films and Batman is no exception.Burton started with Batman his amazing career and this is one of his best films along Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow.
Batman shows that the legacy of The Dark Knight is still alive and this classic is no exception. One of my all time favorite movies and of the 80 s,Batman is an oustanding masterpiece reccomendable for all the Batman fans.
