Warning:
Gross mis-portrayal of autism. You'll be upset by the film makers, not the story.

This portrayal of autism is based on information that is (and was at the time of the film's creation) known to be incorrect. For example, someone with autism might eat the same thing every day, but wouldn't eat specific things dependant on the day of week. And the idea that this IS a characteristic of autism is probably the fault of the DSM for describing behaviours as "rituals" instead of "this is what i want to eat, other things taste/feel disgusting, leave me alone". And apparently Raymond has no problems with sensory processing (which I pretty well consider the main trial of autism), seeing as the whole thing takes place in screaming Las Vegas with a jillion people. And he just cheerfully leaves an institution he hasn't left in 30 years, with someone he doesn't know. This movie clearly has nothing at all to do with autism.

And unfortunately this film is informing a lot of peoples' understanding of autism.

It's ..fine. I just don't understand the rating in the 90%. It's kind of boring and the plot's not about anything. Character development is really slim, there's no plot focus, just "some stuff happens". Whatever. I seriously wonder if we're watching the same films here.

Sensory: audio, high pitched speaking.

The animation of facial expressions is completely dissociated from the emotional meaning of the words the characters are saying. And the vocal tone is completely devoid of emotional reflection of the words. Borg doing impressions of love.

WTF is this shit.
Host - "This child is so deformed thats I'm not sure that being alive is the best thing for her."
And then self-righteously explains how someone needs to come around and kiss these children [for a documentary] and that she'll do the job if no one else will. /resilient.
What a fucking bitch. Shit.

The interviews are informative about the effects of the radiation. Fantastically lot of footage. Kind of amateur/blocky/non-dynamic arrangement of ideas. God make that host stfu. I don't care about your fucking opinions.
