Upon it's general release on June 20,1975,Steven Spielburg's "Jaws" makes motion picture history to become the first movie to gross over $100 million in boxoffice records setting the tone for future blockbusters to come. "Jaws" became one of the top grossing films of that year,and remained that way for the next two years until May 25, 1977,when George Lucas' "Star Wars" knocked it off of the highest grossing films chart. "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" was the overall winner at the Academy Awards,winning 5 Oscars including Best Picture,Best Director(Milos Forman),Best Actor(Jack Nicholson),Best Actress(Louise Fletcher). Other films that came out that year were "Shampoo","Nashville","Funny Lady","The Hindenburg",and "Three Days of the Condor".and Stanley Kubrick's "Barry Lyndon".
