1	Barry Lyndon 1975, PG) A impressão que tenho é de que estou vendo uma pintura na tela a cada segudo desse filme. É cinema da mais alta qualidade. Kubrick mandou comprar trajes costurados 200 anos atrás para os atores, conseguiu uma lente especial de 50mm feita para a NASA para assim poder filmar cenas apenas com a luz de velas, além dos enquadramentos precisos, a puta trilha sonora, a atmosfera e o feeling do século XVIII, a oscarizada fotografia de John Alcott, o uso abundante e magistral do efeito de zoom lento, e o duelo final digno de um western...só me fazem dizer mais duas palavras: Ópera visual.

4	Eraserhead 1977, R) O meu filme preferido de Lynch, e também um dos meus favoritos "weird films" de todos os tempos. O filme todo pra mim, é um delírio/devaneio da própria morte, com pertubações causadas pelo sub-consciente. Henry, é um cidadão solitário, que engravida a namorada por descuido, e é obrigado a casar com ela, porém a mulher o abandona com o filho, e ele é obrigado a ter a responsabilidade (essa é a palavra chave do filme) de criar a criança. Porém tudo vai dando errado, a criança aumenta seu estresse e chega até a atrapalhar o seu relacionamento com outras mulheres. E então, ele não aguentando mais, mata o bebê. E é condenado a cadeira eletrica (O que explica o cara com uma alavanca e as luzes acendendo e apagando o tempo todo). O bebê na verdade não era um monstro, assim como o cara que executou ele na cadeira elétrica, no seu devaneio de morte, ele transformou o bebê e o cara em monstro para amenizar sua culpa. Daí vem o título do filme: Eraserhead, por ele querer apagar toda a situação e escrever uma história nova. Outra coisa também interessante é o seu cabelo em pé, que uma referência de como fica o cabelo quando se toma um "choque".

6	...And Justice For All 1979, R) Esse é de longe o melhor filme de tribunal que eu já vi. Recheado de ironias e sátiras sobre o sistema jurídico. Além de contar com a atuação de Al Pacino em verdadeiro estado de graça. A cena deles rindo pra caralho no banheiro é impagável. Dos grandes dos anos 70.

All I have to say about this movie is: "That kind of humour in the face of adversity keeps America strong. I like you, Yossarian."

15	Hi, Mom! 1970, R) Fact: Jon Rubin is Travis Bickle. (or Travis Bickle is Jon Rubin) This is very fucking obvious. Both are porn movie lovers. Both are lonely. Both cite their mother. Both are Vietnam War veteran who searches for a way out for his mediocre life through the violence against the social environment. All right, Jon Travis Rubin Bickle. Let's blow up a laundry room, kill a politician and a few pimps. Haha. "I'd like to say something. I'm just sick of this bullshit!... Hi, Mom!"
16	Monty Python's Life of Brian 1979, R) Possibly one of the best satire comedie ever produced. Genial, nonsense, impeccable. "Blessed are the cheesemakers" "What have the Romans ever done for us?" "Consider the lilies..." "Have the birds got jobs?!" Followers: He is! He is the Messiah! Brian: Now, fuck off!

18	McCabe & Mrs. Miller 1971, R) "If a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his ass so much, follow me?" O western de Altman. Frio, amargo e diferente. Notavelmente P.T. Anderson bebeu um pouco desse filme pra fazer Sangue Negro. Belo filme, com uma grande atmosfera emoldurada pela melancólica música de Leonard Cohen.
19	MAS*H (MASH) 1970, R) Robert Altman make a great criticizes the war, with this hilarious comedy. Politically Incorrect, nonsense, and with a perfect direction, filmed in the format: 2:35:1. Never forget the 'Hot Lips'. Quote: "Oh my God! They've shot him". "- Hot Lips, you incredible nincompoop. It's the end of the quarter. "

22	American Graffiti 1973, PG) And I wonder, I wo-wo-wo-wo-wonder... George Lucas fez American Graffiti antes de começar com aquela "Mickey Mouse bullshit". E para mim esse é, até hoje, o seu melhor filme. Possui uma das minhas trilhas sonoras favoritas. É divertido, bem filmado, e com atmosfera agradável. Puramente despretensioso, mesmerizante e nostálgico.

24	Straw Dogs 1971, R) O animal adormecido que está em nós. Meu Peckinpah favorito. A montagem de Straw Dogs é espetacular. Cria junto com a fotografia suja, uma a atmosfera e ambientação sublime.

28	Play It Again, Sam 1972, PG) O melhor filme de Woody Allen não dirigido por Woody Allen. Um roteiro extremamente engraçado, com cenas e diálogos inesquecíveis. Grande comédia.

30	Being There 1979, PG) Meu Hal Ashby favorito. Um dos melhores dos anos de 70. Sem palavras pra atuação de Peter Sellers nesse filme. Tem um dos créditos finais mais memoráveis que já vi. Chance não afunda pois só conhece a 'superficilidade'.

Se Supervixens foi a soma de todos os seus outros filmes e a explosão de seu estilo. Up! é uma exploração total desses parâmetros recém-ampliado! Uma cinematografia e montagem estonteante. Com cortes rápidos e ritmados, Meyer nos da um grande espetáculo visual e um dos melhores "exploitation films / softcore" já feitos. SICK! No fairy tale... this!
