113	Eraserhead 1977, R) i don't know what to think or say about this film, i don't know if i should consider it as one of the most marvelous surrealistic masterpiece i've seen, or if i should consider it as nonsense, disgusting, disturbing, weird and confusing piece of garbage and give it half a star. well i think i'll go for the first option, since i already know Lynch's style and work, and i know he's a puzzling director, and by that, everything has a meaning. i oughta see this again, and again, and again... the many times i may need, to solve the puzzle.

131	Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope 1977, PG) this first Star Wars (fourth in the series) is just one hell of a sci-fi. i find it better than any Alien, Blade Runner, or any sci-fi of this era, just because it is far more complete, and it is a brilliant depiction of what could be the future, or the long time gone past, like it is said in the beggining of each SW. its almost flawless and with the so many different, and interesting, characters, planets, starships, its no wonder it began a nerd mass histeria to know the best of each of them. and i add, if i'm a nerd because i loved this, then i proudly am. "The Force will be with you... always."

197	Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi 1983, PG) not as good the first two, and the small bears were quite annoying. the ending was cheesy, but what to expect after Vader is no longer evil? and c'mon, i thought he was unbeatable and then he let his hand be cut in such a lame way?.... ok well, it loses points because Vader turns to the good side before he dies (much because of his son, i know...blabla it sucks). it is still thrilling and achieves to gather some more nerds to the club.

Fox is witty, Christopher Lloyd's Emmet Brown is nuts, and the story itself is fantastically well written. This was the formula for an easy to follow and quite enjoyable teen sci-fi.

247	Aliens 1986, R) for me, the best one of the saga. yea, it has more action paced moments, and less chilling ones. it loses something for that. but i just loved the way it keeps your heart pumping from scene to scene.

Dennis Hopper did one heck of a performance! one of the most sadistic, evil, mad characters i've seen, side to side with Kakihara (from Miike's Ichi The Killer).

491	The Wrestler 2008, R) totally different style by Aronofsky, yet it doesn't lose any quality. i never liked wrestling, i mean, i hate wrestling, so i was somehow putting this film aside when it came out. but then i heard it was from Aronofsky and i got myself wondering if he was like a wrestling fan or did he gone crazy enough to make one of those typical boring american films you get to see on tv. well both options were wrong. Aronofsky made a film concerning wrestling alright, but he then foccus more on the life of a singular wrestler, and thats when Rourke enters, making a performance that will grant him an oscar for sure. the wrestler is about the fall, and not the rise, of a living in the 80's success wrestler, who loses everything through the course of his life. the rest you gotta see it.

493	Gomorrah (Gomorra) 2008, Unrated) really intense and cruel. great for those who enjoyed City of God or La Haine, where the rules of the street are, most of the time, the rules of the gun. what is really shocking in this Gomorrah is to think that mobs like this, mobs this cruel and brutal, exist not only in those far away places we get to see on the news every now and then, such as the Rio's slums, to name an example, but also in the middle of this so-called Modern Europe.

Chris Waltz gives, what I think, the best performance of the film. The film itself is fun, above everything, but hardly Tarantino's best, for those who believed so, even himself. Its quite good but, please, lets not exagerate.
