"Ha Ha Ha! You are priceless child, you cannot kill me for I am eternal, I am devourer of worlds and of CHILDREN" ! "I am everything you ever were afraid of " !
My favorite horror movie of all time ! Ironically enough, I think it was my fear of clowns growing up that drew me to this movie. Great cast, good storyline, my favorite Stephen King adaptation. Tim Curry was brilliant ! I hear there's talk of a remake to be released in theatres for 2010, I hope they bring Tim Curry back and give it an R rating to step up the horror. Hopefully it will do this one some justice.
"My own brother, a Goddam Shitsucking Vampire,... well, you just wait ' til mom finds out about this ! "
My favorite vampire movie of all time! True 80s horror classic. A perfect blend of horror with the right amount of humor. The look, the feel, the rebelious teenage vampiristic vibe was perfect for that time. It set a cult classic standard in which movies like Buffy, The Craft, The Covenant, and Twilight have tried to match, but to no avail.
One of my favorite vampire movies of all time. Cheesy vampire movies from the 80s are the absolute best and this one is no exception. They just don't make movies like this anymore. Good storyline, good acting, good humor and I loved the cast. Fright Night is a true 80s classic, an unsung gem in the horror genre.
Zombies are coming to the Prom, and it's up to the dateless geeks and outcasts (sci-fi club, the redneck bully, the guy and girl who were dumped the day before, the stoner rockband and the war happy gym coach) to stop them.
Although this movie came out in 2008 it is quickly turning into one of my favorite zombie movies of all time. My favorite scene is in the graveyard when the zombies start busting out from their graves. I like the look, the feel, the music, and the simple storyline which seemed to work just right.
Zombies + Nerds + the Prom = Underground Classic !
Great movie about a vampire named Lestat (Stuart Townsend) who awakens in modern times and becomes a rockstar of all things. He is then accepted by millions of fans but not by other vampires as he begins admitting through his lyrics that he is indeed a vampire and that others should come out of hiding and expose themselves as well. Needless to say this does not sit well with the others as all vampires are to keep themselves out of the public eye and live only as mythical creatures to the public. All this feuding and fighting stirs up the re-awakening of the Queen mother of all vampires Akasha (played by the late Aaliyah) who decides she wants Lestat to be her king and eventually kill as many people as they can, except Lestat isn't too crazy about the idea, but how do you turn down your Queen and live to tell about it?
One of my favorite vampire films of all time. It's dark, gothic, sexy and with a killer soundtrack from bands like, Disturbed, Static X and Jonathan Davis of Korn.
A TRUE HORROR CLASSIC ! This movie is so good in so many ways that I don't know where to begin. Everything from the tarman to that freaky chick who danced naked in the graveyard to the zombie calling in for more cops. This is a cheesy 80s B-movie horror masterpiece, I LOVE IT !
The best movie you can ever watch during Halloween time. I love the way all the stories were interwoven into one. This movie has it all, vampires, werewolves, zombies and a serial killer ! A must see and a must own ! This movie is destined to be a horror classic !
This is definetely in my top 5 zombie flicks of all time. It was everything I thought it would be. The storyline was ok but the creativity was off the charts. I loved how the different zombie surviving rules would pop up throughout the movie and I don't think I've ever seen a zombie movie where zombies invaded an amusement park. It had lots of funny moments and Woody Harrelson's character risking life and "LIMB" for his dream of getting to eat some twinkies was hilarious. He was great as was the rest of the cast but I absolutely loved the cameo appearance by Bill Murray, his small yet effective role elevated my rating of this movie from 3 1/2 stars to 4. We may have a classic in the making with this one.
"Okay girls I have good news and bad news. The good news is that your dates are here, ...the bad news is that they're dead" !
I was waiting for over a year for a dvd release and I finally got it on 10/27/09 as soon as it came out. I can't stress enough how the best cheesy horror B-Movies were made in the 80s, and Night of the Creeps is a perfect example. I remember watching this when I was 11 yrs old when it first came out and I love it now like I loved it then. It had just about everything, aliens, an axe murderer, humor, horror and of course, ZOMBIES! One of the most underrated and one one of my favorite zombie movies of all time. An excellent late night popcorn movie !
One of the best vampire movies to come out in years. Not as scary, disturbing or creepy as I thought it would be, in fact I found it to be more dramatic than frightening yet beautifully sad. Alot of credit needs to be given to these two child actors for single handedly carrying this entire movie. Lina Leandersson was absolutely mezmerizing !
Most people wouldn't agree with me, but I think this movie was better than the Exorcist. It was deeper on so many levels. I thought the acting was really good, Jennifer Carpenter was amazing. The fact that it was based on actual events made it much more intriguing to watch. It didn't scare me like I thought it would, but then again if I smell something burning at 3am and my smoke detectors don't go off, I'm not getting up. (LOL)
