Flixster Fall Wiki Contest WooHoo!!!!!!
WHAT: Another Edit Contest! (duh) :). Whoever adds the most words wins!
WHEN: The contest begins on FRIDAY, September 25th at 12:00 noon Pacific Time and runs through MONDAY, October 26th at 12:00 noon Pacific Time.
WHO: All Flixster Experts presently in good standing. (I.e. you?ve made the basic edits to your own actor pages. Check the FAQ for details.)
You know that Flixster, with our good friends at WetPaint, allows its users to add to every actor and director page on the site using the WYSIWYG EasyEdit buttons. For this contest we encourage our Experts to work on pages that don't have much info yet. If you have noticed a page or two that needs a bit of help this is the perfect time to spruce it up! Of course, your own pages (or any on Flixster) are fair game as well. :)
WHY: We love to Wiki! Plus, we have set you up with tons of cool prizes! And to top it off this will be the first Flixster Expert Contest that will be utilizing our reaaaally cool new features to make this contest the best one yet! (There will be more on that in a couple days).

GOLD (1 awarded): $150 Amazon Gift Certificate + The one-of-a-kind Grand Prize Gold Wiki Trophy on your Flixster profile
SILVER (2 awarded): $100 Amazon Gift Certificate + The Silver Wiki Trophy on your Flixster profile
BRONZE (3 awarded): $50 Amazon Gift Certificate + The Bronze Wiki Trophy on your Flixster profile
(For our winning non-U.S. friends, we will remit send a certificate in the equivalent value of your currency from your local Amazon store or similar online retailer.)
Prizes will be awarded on the following basis: Most word contributions. Simply put,: WORDS added of your own originally authored, accurate actor information. Copyrighted material is not allowable in the contest (or at any time on Flixster.com) and will not count towards your total. If you post any copyrighted material you should remove it ASAP.
WHERE: Any Flixster Actor page (especially those that are lookin a bit bare!) Especially the following areas:
- - Bio snapshot (directly on the actor page) - Main actor detail page for Johnny Depp
- - Extended Biography - Will Smith Full Fan Bio
- - Quotes - Matt Damon Quotes
- - Best Movies & Characters - Paul Walker Characters/Movies
- - "Fan" page - you can create and add anyting related to that actor. (Just click "add a page" in the "wiki profile" area on any actor page.)
HOW: To participate, send Expert expert Rob Gordon an Email or a talk message RobGordon that includes your Flixster username and the email address you presently check the most.
