Pattinson was born on May 13, 1986 in London. His mother, Clare, worked for a modeling agency, and his father, Richard, imported vintage cars from the U.S. He attended Tower House School and Harrodian School, and became involved in amateur theatre through the Barnes Theatre Company. After some backstage experience there, he took on acting roles. He caught the attention of an acting agent in a production of Tess of the D'Urbervilles and began looking for professional roles. Pattinson has two elder sisters, singer Lizzy Pattinson, and Victoria Pattinson. He is best known his his roles of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and, most recently, Edward Cullen in Twilight. Aged 15, Robert started acting in amateur plays with the Barnes Theatre Company. After, he took screen roles like Ring of the Nibelungs(Kingdom of Twilight) as Giselher and Vanity Fair as Rawdy Crawley. In 2003, Robert took on the role of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as Cedric Diggory and was the first person seen for the role of Cedric Diggory. He got his role a week later after meeting Mike Newell in late 2003. Most Famous for playing Edward Cullen in Twilight. Two of his songs made it into the Twilight movie. "Never think" which is featured on the soundtrack and "Let me sign" which wasn't featured on the soundtrack.
