Starred on stage as Maria Callas in "Master Class" and won the "Maria Guerrero" award in 1996. The same year she was honored as Ciudadano Ilustre de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires ("Illustrious Citizen of the City of Buenos Aires").
Co-wrote one screenplay, "Los Herederos", and has published poetry and short stories.
She was quite up-front about her liberal views and during the late 1970s was exiled to Uruguay. Later she moved to Spain and did not return to Argentina until 1982 when the military junta fell.
