But Natalie so impressed director Lasse Hallstrom, he expanded her part, and also injected more humor into the role once he realized how well Natalie handled comedy. She is well known for her recent TV portrayal of the ill-fated 2nd wife of King Henry VIII (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers) Queen Anne Boleyn in Season 1 and 2 of the Showtime series "The Tudors".
