In 1971, she launched her movie career with La Cavale. Miou-Miou's most fondly regarded screen appearances have included her supporting appearance as a street gang moll in Going Places (1974), her star turn in director Diane Kurys' Entre Nouse (1983), and her adroit portrayal of a sexy "professional reader" in La Lectrice (1988).
